I see you yeah there shouldn't be conclusions on these types of discussions cause we wheren't part of the team who wrote the books or "rules", these are all opinions I can't speak on institutional religions, because my perspective of it is that it's the worst thing that has ever happened to anything and everything on earth and that is pretty much set in stone, so I don't talk about it much because of that whole "unpopular opinion = truth" thing. accepting death can be something beautiful, just remember without death there would be no life and no magic trick has ever really been done. the mind is easily tricked, though it is capable of all kinds of magic, within itself. but yeah, respectfully ending my string of opinions here ✌ have a lekker day brother!!

Is this how 3 weeks old should look?
Naughty.Psychonaut replied to Righteoussower's topic in Indoor Growing
@Righteoussower what's goooood bud just checking, what are you doing with the smaller tent at the moment? those lights in the big tent, what are their specs and did you get hanging instructions with them? with those 2 small lights it might be better sticking those plants in the small tent with both those lights. you'll get the reflection from the sides of the tent wall instead of loosing that light. you got fans and everything in the small one too? it seems you are either doing LST or topped some of the plants, just note that the younger the plant when implimenting any stress the more severe the stunting will be. especially with autos. the 2 extractor fans in the big tent are fine. as long as you're not hurting your tent by creating too strong of a negative pressure. you might wana turn the smaller extractor around to rather push fresh air in and having a active FAE instead of creating a vaccuum with a passive FAE. -
in my lifetime I have gone through a whole bunch of phases, I have been complete different people at different times in my life, my name has never defined me and it never will. it's just an easy way to call me out from the crowd. I believe the metaphysical realm only exists to humans, the power of words people speak of, they don't exist to any other species on earth. Humans created that power in their own minds. the true power is the mind itself. call your dog over, shout at him that you love him and a angry tone and watch his reaction - he'll get scared. now tell him you hate him in a loving tone and see how he reacts - he'll show loving affection. this experiment alone shows you only words only effect humans a certain way because we create that power for them to do so in our own minds. same situation with plants, you know how plants react to music? you can literally play deathmetal lyrics in symphonic melodic no harsh tunes and the plants will be loving life. same with vice versa, play loving lyrics with a deathmetal tune the plant won't like it very much. because there are no power in words. only in the metaphysical realm, but that also only exists in the human mind.

well, shit... you're missing out man those are two amazing strains you turning your back on! if you do dna sequencing on those plants it wont say hitler and chernobyl, they'll give a code number/name. the generic names really have very little to do with it. the name is just a stupid lable to be able to easily identify it amongst others for the general public it's easier to remember something like hitler or chernobyl, than to remember something like "PX12JFMS976" not trying to change anyones mind, but honestly you wouldn't even know if you where smoking those strains till someone told you what it is and just going off that fact alone it's kinda hard to understand what the hate is all about. both hitler and chernobyl are amazing strains. smoking or growing or naming strains those names doesn't support the events in any kinda way it's not like we are sending money to the institution of Hitler by indulging in that strain. it's not even his strain, it's just a strain. shock value is a marketing tactic. you know the strain called lambs breath? it's not quite chernobyl or hitler, but it's offensive nonetheless. or do people really like the breath of a lamb? same with stuff like gorilla glue, garlic sherbert, herijuana, AK47, trainwreck, god bud, cat piss, skunk, amnesia, durban poison... who really wants to smoke any of that stuff or even be thinking about those stuff when smoking? those are all terrible things in general, but ask yourself why do they make such good weed names? cause they're offensive. do you get reminded of what a joyfull even a trainwreck is when you smoke trainwreck or is it the smell of a trainwreck that is nice? maybe because people like sending money to make more trainwrecks happen? just imagine you actually lost a loved one in a trainwreck, and the best medicine for you is in trainwreck weed, but you don't want the healing cause you don't like the name very much. kinda funny and again shows how little the name has anything to do with the weed itself. ✌

still stretching, DS the taller ones, BHP in the back right cathing up to the rest and FA in the middle, rest is all DS

these plants may have been stunted, from the previous photo it's clear to see that they where a bit hungry, it took them a few days to settle into the soil, but they got their roots in now and it seems growth has finally kicked in. better colour on all the leaves aswell. I am happy one plant in this run has changed, got a Chernobyl cutting, TGA genetics, it will be replacing the Deluxe Sugarcane for this run as I have some DS buds in jars and another 3 plants in flower so I will have a load of DS for a while, keeping a mother around for sure haven't smoked Chernobyl, have only heard good things making me think about the Hitler discussion from a while back anyway, here they are, only the 5 in the bigger pots

Help needed with growth assessment
Naughty.Psychonaut replied to Righteoussower's topic in Cocopeat or Coco/Perlite growing
Yeah the fat leaves are completely normal another note of interest, not sure if you watered right before photo was taken, but the medium looks quite saturated and that little plant is very young still, it's easy to cause stress or stunt root growth on a young plant if there's a lack of oxygen at the roots. if you're growing in organic medium it's quite important to let the medium dry before watering again and when you do water to not completely saturate the medium, but rather just give what the plant can use. for small plants like those I usually go around 250ml to 500ml only when the medium is dry. the roots must do some work to go looking for the water, the more you get the roots moving the more the plant will grow up top. -

what would work even better, is a still air box. now that you growing mushrooms, you should look into this, gona change the game. the tub I mentioned above, it can be a real big one. infact the bigger the better. if you can get the biggest tub, do it, then cut 2 holes for your hands in the side. then you never have to lift the tub at all, you just stick your hands in and do everything inside there. remember to still wear mask and gloves and spray and wipe down everything. but like this.... took a photo from google -

Do it! Do it! Do it! I believe mushrooms have way more health benefits than weed, and if you can grow a psilocybe you can grow a whole bunch of different mushrooms. the understanding is mostly the same, just the resources that's gona differ. such as the substrates different mushrooms prefer and different environmental conditions. once you get the hang of it, it can be extremely cheap. way cheaper than growing weed and takes less space. That's awesome of them, excellent service! I wonder how many times they'll send you a replacement? Till you get it right hahah this actually gives me confidence to order from them have ordered many of these syringes and never got replacements! before you get started this time. do you have a pressure cooker? if not you can use a normal pot, but I would suggest steam cooking your BRF cake before doing anything. and get 70% rubbing alcohol for this, works best for many reasons. anything higher will evaporate too quick to kill anything. I use 70% wintergreen rubbing alcohol from dischem. prep your area, close all windows, wipe away all dust, then spray 70% alcohol and wipe down the surface where you gona do inoculation. get a big tub you cac put over your brf jar and syringe, spray and wipe down the inside of the tub. spray the brf jar and syringe both so they're dripping alcohol, put them on a paper towel and put the tub over them so that no dust falls down on them. this is a good time to put on a mask and some gloves, grab another few paper towels, spray and wipe down your gloves and fore arms just outside of the glove, grab a paper towel and carefully lift the tub an don't create a wind with your arms or hands as you move. like you doing operation, you got a mask on also not to breathe germs onto everything. so be sure there is no air moving around. wipe down the brf jar, carefully lift the tub back up, put the brf jar back under the tub, leave a alcohol soaked paper towel ontop of the injection port, as you take the syringe out from under the tub and wipe that down aswell. now lift the tub again carefully and set it aside, take a lighter and flame sterilise your syringe needle, take the alcohol soaked paper towel you left ontop of the brf jar and wipe it down nicely, as you lift the jar you slide in the needle and as you inject the liquid you move the syringe around so you can spread the liquid in the jar and not inoculate it all in one place. here is a video on the pftek kit from MyShrooms. also a good step by step, but there are few things I would do differently. -

That video is just to show a little of Alans workshop setup. Here is a nice video on the PF tek, youtube has quite a lot. only thing I do differently, I don't use my lids I just use tin foil. there are instructional videos on the myshrooms page aswell. -
first thing that comes to mind, first time I smoked obviously one never parts with that memory, but there's no big story around my first time. second that comes to mind. the highest I have ever been, I have a couple stories, but a hand full of them start with smoking a chillum with some rastas. especially those hash chillums.... dear god.... puff puff puff puff puff till you get a big cherry going then take the biggest hit of your life, will make your vision blurry for a few seconds as you try with all your might to not cough and let the smoke out slowly and little bit at a time, otherwise you risk a cough you gona cough for hours. seriously, fuck any extract or any "pure" whatever, smoke a chillum with the rastas you'll forever know what being high really means. when you have to walk away from the crowd to get fresh air, you turn back to look at everyone and it's like you lost your perception of depth and you seeing double, almost feels like you could pass out at any moment. couple deep breaths of fresh air and a sip of water you'll be good and higher than you have ever been, no doubt. I remember watching the Ganjier on youtube, they discuss all kinds of things for Cannabis connoisseurs. The host Derek Gilman had Frenchy Canoli on, THE hashman! Frenchy packed a hash chillum, this is the only episode Derek actually had a time out after the hit he blew out the smoke and immediatly handed off the chillum! that man was wobbling in his seat feeling like he is about to fall off the side of the planet. hahahahah I am telling you guys, if you have not experienced a proper chillum smoke, it's a bucketlist thing. you'll have a new respect for cannabis and how powerful it can be. Dereks chillum hit at 22:30

I had a look now on B&B and it turns out the "PF classic" is actually a strain, that was named after the pf tek, that was made famous by the same man who named it. I learn something new every day I know when I look up Psilocybe species nothing of the sorts comes up, no mention of PF classic as a species of psilocybe. If you wana know everything there is to know about any psilocybin containing mushrooms, even the few of those outside of the psilocybe genus group, check out Allan Rockefeller. Dude is currently the lead mycologist in the world with a focus on psychoactice mushrooms, pushing out the most information ever on mushroom mycroscopy than anyone has ever before. and it's just him doing it alone and he is doing it from a lab he put together himself. didn't study a thing. check this video... notice what he said at 19:30 "if any of this shit is flying over your heads don't worry about it, you hear these words enough you go read up about them. you can use the internet to look at pictures of butts and food or you can use it to teach yourself something" and at 26:20 "no, I didn't go to school, I just started doing it" shits inspirational hahahah @Weskush brother, I am sorry if I missed it, but do you still have anything in the syringe? did you empty the syringe ino the tub, or you saved a few drops? -

They lable them as spore syringes, but they're actually liquid culture syringes. That's because the already germinated spores and culture form of the mushroom awell as the mushroom itself is all illegal, so they have to say they're spores. I had to dig up an old email from 2020, discussing this with Dave from MyShrooms, he confirms it. here is my email to him here's the reply but no stress, it's actually better that way. if you still have a few drops of culture I could possibly still save you -

you must get directly from myshrooms. I've gotten a few clean syringes from them. https://www.myshrooms.co.za/product-category/psilocybin-mushrooms/ there are all their different strains available. -

PF tek means Psilocybe Fanaticus technique, it's not a strain, it refers to the technique a person uses to grow psilocyin containing mushrooms. usually talking bout the old school method of using brown rice flour and vermiculite as a substrate and making "cakes" also known as BRF cakes. this is what you where doing, but the strain of mushroom you grew must have been given to you at some point during the exchange, usually psilocybe cubensis. -

did you get it from b&b? damn... no instructions is poor, this takes some know-how. you inject only the injection port, yes. but the fact that it only has one injection port is also very poorly done. -

oh man, sorry brother, this one goes to the bin all this is thrichoderma, good for soil. but don't even open it in your sterile area and don't touch it directly. those plastic tubs are cheap, throw the whole thing away. if it was a glass jar I would tell you how to dispose of it, but even then you would wana be carefull. trichoderma is very agressive and spreads it's spores very easily, it's the biggest threat to any mycology work. where did you get the syringe from? you got more culture in there? what strain of psilocybe is it? it's brf then the top 1/2cm is just vermiculite. this usually helps with contamination, but in this case I think the LC itself was contaminated -

Got a fresh roll of toilet paper sitting in the fridge for this weekend Jalapeño poppers coming right up! Habaneros getting ready got a few cayenne still drying along with a few cherry bombs probably gona whip up a spicey butter chicken along with a couple Jalapeño poppers should make for a nice ring sting on Saturday morning... -
looking at the photos from September2021 these grafts really took off in the last couple months! thought I would show their progression. grafting cacti is really the way to go for faster growth Here is one of the bigger lophophora x pachanoi, she pushed her very first flower recently and she does not stop making new pups! Here's one of my mothers, got loads of seeds off her over the years, she got a couple fruits full of seeds sitting on top (the messy dried up parts in the middle)

just don't let everyone know you can choke them out before having to do it the element of surprise will forever be in your favour! like not showing your weapon unless you ready to use it

Flipped on 30/01 as seen in the photo above, they where getting hungry, overall N but started seeing signs of fast progressing P deficiency especially on the Frosted Apricot in the middle. Did a topdress. Sprinkled about 5 to 10 ganulars of super phosphate on each pot, not even a gram for each. a cup of bonemeal, but the Frosted Apricot got a cup and a half. 2 cups of vermicompost for each. Took a little hand held rake tool and worked it into the top 5cm of soil, watered it all in with microbes. I got some new myco stuff from Jamie, BioCult, first time working with this for me. Treatmenst where done on 22/01, photos taken yesterday. looking much better, few leaves clawing here and there, I am keeping a close eye on it, will do 2 or 3 clean waterings then back to feed.

we all know it's getting worse, we all know why it's getting worse, but we're too comfortable to change. reminds me of an old classic
-
Well I don't mean to get technical or come up with solutions, because the problem is not just one thing, but the platform for all this is just human intervention. always has been. We didn't get here, because of some magic trick. We did it all to ourselves and that is the only thing I need to know, to be able to say that we can also undo it all. I am not talking bout going back to the stone age either, but we are clever enough to know what's causing the problem and what doesn't. if you didn't know what causes the problem, you wouldn't have said going down this "path of the future" just means it's going to get worse. like they say, "the power to change is in our hands"

I don't think boycotting big corporate and rallying trying to shut down nasa, space x and those guys will do much, it wont work at all, but as an individual I have the choice to either be part of what is gona make it worse or to not be part of that.
