hey uuuuuuuh, you talking to me or that guy going around calling people cunts for not taking their "advice"???
-
I wish more people would share this approach man!
-
my grow is literally filled corner to corner with bud sites, not once did I call it a "whateverthefuck"
-
I believe so. if you think of trellissing/scrogging, typical square grid pattern, if you have one installed in your grow but only grow the plant small and inbetween the scrog and not filling the space. you might aswell remove the square grid thing and just call it "growing a plant" if you have a space to grow in and you just put a couple plants in there and space them out so it looks like they meant to fill the space just call it growing a couple plants in a tent. what's so wrong with that? it's still cool hahah if you can fill the space with couple plants or even with his method with clones and flower right out the gate, but then atleast make it look like a "sea of green" I don't even see why all the fuss in calling it a sea of green lol
-
here is why I might have been a little hard on the poor guy, first off gives me attitude on a thread of mine over information I have done physical experiments on and gotten my answers long time ago and he has only read up about it on a forum, then apologises "publicly" then goes on to send a PM sharing his link and still trying to convince me of "his ways" that he read about on a forum on the internet..... if he couldn't undestand by then that I wasn't taking his information because it's not helpfull to me then goes on to call me a cunt of all things, this guy doesn't even know me. and now tries to correct me on another thread where information stated in my post was well worth posting as it served valuable to OP... so yeah, thought he deserves some hard constructive criticism, if he takes it he will benefit from it still, I really couldn't care less if he likes me or not
-
he also tried to make it out as if I am saying his sea of green is a screen of green when I clearly said exatly what he said about it being a sog and not scrog????
-
I don't see how I came in hot, I also believe his problem was with me saying his grow is not what he claimed it was because he could've done better. point blank nothing else to it. he even asked a couple times to answer his question if I meant it was a sea of green or not, I just repeated what he said about it being a sea of green and not a screen of green, this is what his comment about the invisible screen was about. I clearly meant he could do better in filling up the space and he wasn't happy to hear that, even after claiming constructive input is welcome, but that doesn't matter and it also doesn't change the fact doesn't matter how hot I came in.
-
I would suggest the neem
-
oh man you probably took a mighty puff of this bud that made you see all those things wont lie, that's one frosty looking girl!!! I had a jar of slurricane, finished it recently and can remember I wasn't toooo fond of it. yours looks good though and very little purple which I am in favour of!
-
lol sorry @GGG didn't mean to make a mess on your thread if you want one of the mods to clean up the unnecessary bits ? I hope there was some usable info atleast hahah
-
perfectly fine thank you bro
-
wow, what an opinion....
-
so if I put a few plants in a tent that's now a sea of green? you didn't even use the space. you might aswell have grown that amount in a warehouse facility, would you still call it sea of green? don't try hide behind your silly question, what's important here is.... FACT, you could've done better. lol you tried your best at creating a sea of green, but you just grew a few plants in a tent.
-
nice man, that's a completely different plant than my banana pheno! looky not the best photos, here's the buds here she was amongst the canopy, back right, just showing how she wasn't the bushiest girl
-
oh so now you are giving a method he can use? well then I would say that is a shit method and wouldn't suggest that to anyone. if it where an example, like you stated in the very post I could understand, but now you say he must just go yank off the lid? please don't advise that to anyone, the concept of acclimatize is much broader than just "taking the lid off"
-
lol, OK, you are wrong. YOU SAID THE FOLLOWING am I right? answer: YES then I said am I right? answer: YES. both refering to your grow, now tell me where is the difference??? maybe you misunderstood the word "actually" and the context I used it in. perhaps if I exchanged the word with "more impressive" or "better yielding" you would understand. but then you say you don't understand and you conclude that I meant the opposite of what you said? even when I said the exact same thing? I think you need to keep your emotions in check and get off your ever so slightly passive agressive condescending high horse for long enough to realise what's being said here. I would be emotional too if the fact where against me, but let me do us both a big favour and stop allowing this to waste my time like you waste the space in that tent. lol never seen such false words.
-
you got a thread on the banana hammock? I seem to have a awesome pheno here, no pest or diseases since day one. not very leafy at all and some of the better purple buds I have grown. decided to keep mine, but would like to see how yours did?
-
I also prefer the no dome once planted, once you put soil or any microbes, bacteria or pathogens (living stuff) in a dome with constant high RH and low FAE you basically creating a orgy zone for diseases. not to say if you keep your hand on it and start maybe spraying some fungicide and pestecide you may be able to achieve success, but I wouldn't risk it and who wants to spray stuff that will make the inside of your dome dirty then you gotta wash it or light gets blocked and you could possibly harm the younglings by spraying them with stuff that early.
-
looking good man those lines on the leaves are from leaf miners, not a big issue, but I would spray something to keep insect life at bay as you can now see your plant is favourable to insects
-
I literally quoted what you said, why would you even be looking for a screen?
-
this is what I mean...
-
I would say no dome once in solo cup, young plants actually do benefit from more moisture in the air, but you also don't wana risk any chance of PM, so atleast below 60% RH from when planted into solo cup with good airflow. but also keep above 30% RH, just for the benefit of the plant
-
I think is the main thing here, if you reeeeeeeeeaally don't wana touch the plants or do any training AND keep time to a minimal, that doesn't mean you MUST waste space. I mean you can, it's all up to you. why not just squeeze a 100 cuts or however much it takes to fill the space and make an actual S.O.G (not S.C.R.O.G) lol I mean, you could easily double your harvest. maybe even tripple. but hey, you do you
-
I believe he asked for a method, not what it means, mr. google search. "hardening off" can happen post root, but have you heard of a cutting loosing it's viability because you make 20 cuts and by the time you done the last one the first ones cut dried out already? so by placing them directly into water when the cut is still fresh allowing them to not dry out is more important in the "hardening off" process, because you won't even get to the point of having roots if you let the cuts dry out, which a quick first google search will not tell you.
-
with all that said, going back to the first statement, if you take cuts from a mom that's in bad health or you cut a weak spindly little branch you can have all the above in check, still won't get roots. Tip - the lower on the plant you take a cut the more auxins will be available in the cut as it is a hormone associated with plant body development and having it come from the lower part of the plant there will be more "root developing properties" to those hormones. So not always the tops and top branches that make the best cuttings.
