hahahah I love how it sais "no expiry date JWA gets better with age" hahahahah don't know why that is funny to me, I mean it's just factual, but the statement seems comical

yeah golden rule, don't spray anything during flower. you can get away with half doses during week 1 of flower, but in my opinion once pistils show we shouldn't spray anything anymore

only a pleasure and bless you too kind Sir damn boi, 6 years isn't all that long either hey! I am on my 4th "real" grow, started gathering indoor grow equipment beginning of 2019, had a harvest in that year and another 2 in 2020 then took a break cause I moved, still had plants around, didn't do anything serious though. been enjoying weed since 2008 and got into horticulture and permaculture at a young age, so been growing a few plants here and there. always outdoor. never took it serious, had one big harvest I can remember. then just few nice plants, the spontaneous 20g here and there planning my first "real" outdoor grow this coming season. only 2/3 potted plants, but will be a 60L and a 90L pot. testing the waters before diving in hahah soooo, I would comfortably say 1 year that I been "taking it serious" also owe a lot to the forum, besides learning about growing weed and how to understand the plant better , I literally built a working LED grow light. Few years ago I wouldn't even think of wiring up a wall plug. I am much more meticulous about caring for my plants and having things organised in my grow space that it's somehow become a part of my daily routine and shit, cause I am constantly thinking bout my plants and what I can do to improve, so when I get ideas and can't apply them yet cause I am at work or whatever it gives me a bit of OCD and then I start jittering if I don't get busy physically and usually that helps me get more work done faster and I think in more logical about how I do things and place things in general and with time management. I already seen this improving by itself over the years of caring and working with nature, but in the last year I have grown a lot too, gained soooo much confidence in my work and it seems to show. and that is thanks to peeps like you who's just hyper enthusiastic about what they do, fucking fire for reals brother

you could get a refractometer, test the plant that gets hit, see if it has a healthy immune system. sounds like you got a problematic plant refractometers are cheap

oooooooh, this what all the fans and airmovement is for? you got a good start bro, for sure. but pm can show up on a plant regardless, some plants carry pm better than they carry their own genes. here you go brother, this will sort you out! If you can afford a nice AC in your grow room you surely can put one of these down, https://www.greenhouston.co.za/products/solenco-cf8500-air-purifier

Wow, that's a nice room man!!! plants looking healthy and everything in order, not that it means much coming from me, a beginner myself lol my IPM is just a weekly bioneem treatment in veg (all outdoor plants full dose before night time, indoor plants half dose till 3/4 weeks before flower then full dose) during flower I do nothing. oh and as a rule of thumb, I topdress with diatomaceous earth once a month to help keep unwanted soil dwellers at bay. following this simple easy and full organic regime has kept my garden (all of it, even ornamentals) I would say around 70 to 80% pest and disease free. on occasion spider mites and wooly aphids will show up between the ferns and shrubbery elsewhere in the garden, for those occasions I keep Pyrol on hand, do a weekly treatment at 3/4's dose till infestation is gone. the bioneem is especialy helpfull outdoors as you still want bugs around your garden and neem has no effect on bugs. it changes how the plant tastes to the bugs, so only the ones chowing your plant (unwanted bugs) will be detered. while the ones who pollenate and keep the diversity alive won't be affected.

awe mr S just a heads up here, roots do not wana see the sun so a transparent container will cause stress and stunt root growth have seen some guys flower in their solo cups, so they make a cutting and once rooted straight into flower lol. get maybe 5 to 10g off a plant but takes about a month to 2 months max what is the challenge you guys going for? if you growing out a bag seed it might be male, or you popped a few?

Temp 17°C, RH 65% got good good air flow and open canopy, nice space between everything yet filled with bud sights -
actually also wouldn't suggest filtered water as this gets rid of too much, same with any heavily conditioned water. your plants wat those trace amounts of zinc, copper, molybdenum and couple other of the metals we have in our tap water. best is fresh oxygenated spring water or fresh oxygenated rain water. for organic growing this is

I like the stuffs you talking bout here, but just wana check, I don't think microbes lay eggs. they create colonies by basically splitting sells, each sell grows to a certain size then splits into two and so forth. there are different ways they split depending on the type of microbes and bacterias good thing to practice is oxygenating your water. even filtered water will benefit from this, because it will serve your microbes and bacteria, well so actually your plant will benefit from it as it will be the one having to deal with the water. microbes and your plant really need oxygen and the way you drown them and your plant is depleting the soil of oxygen by saturating it with water. if the water is oxygenated however, you might be a little more on the safe side. with tap water it will also get rid of shit like chlorine and chloramine and some other shit that will also harm your microbes. microbes thrive in field capacity moisture levels, I find that to be around 70% on those "moisture meter" toys. easy way to estimate this is if you would squeeze the medium in your hand there shouldn't be water dripping out, though it must leave your hand wet.

welcome!! what strain you got growing there?

Weird yellow things on buds
Naughty.Psychonaut replied to ThricomeInstituteStudent's topic in Sick Bay
100% fine to smoke that brother, the naners don't have any trichomes on them so you can pick them out like you would with pips, or leave them if you lazy, wont hurt you much more than the rest of the carbon based plant material that gets combusted and inhaled when smoked. -
yeah, rule of thumb is cool colours for veg warm colours for flower. excited to see what she does for you
-
hahah hell yeah bud, right K for veg? make note of the 20000h it states on the box, they usually come with a warrenty so if it runs out before hitting those numbers you just run and get a new one.
-
I have had good genetics die on me, grew it way too long, the plant looked exactly like that. ended up having to cut all the dead brown matter away, saved what I could, but the smoke was worse than the worst weed you can think of. think it had to do with the fact that the trichomes where so over developed most of them meant nothing and the few that was still "viable" where probably amber as fuck and no good. the weed literally just gave me a headache and put me to sleep. I threw the whole plant in the fire for the fun of it you might have some hope here. best to do, get optimal conditions from here on out. cut the bitch and hang her in complete darkness with fresh air exchange, no fan blowing directly on the stuff but air must be moving. aim for 50% humidity slow dry 10 - 14 days, trim and jar. then cure the fuck out her, burp jars for 30min a day for a month. try keep the jars in the dark too. don't do anything now to further risk loss of trichomes. if you wana be able to smoke some of that stuff atleast.
-
now I am wondering how long before you split the room, white out the walls and light the whole joint up hahah
-
what's good, Commander! welp, this was the closest the forum has come to having an actual BigMac growing out some cannabis! got anything cooking?
-
you don't let them dry between waterings?

oh man, having light troubles can really suck hey if you got like R4 / 500 in your pocket and wana make it through, I would suggest looking at the incased LED flood lights, aim for the IP65 ones that means its weather proof and built to last. you not gona get it wet, but trust me you don't wana save R100 and then only have the light last another 2 months. I got a 50w floodlight for R450 a while ago when I built a grow box myself. still running strong I haven't flowered under it, but it's cool white spectrum and got my plants vegging like magic, there's a thread on it I can link you to if you wana check it out. you could possibly get 2 of them, one cool white and a warm white. comes flower time you put both
