The sweetest sweet seeds shirt, 3 awesome stickers, a pack of rolling papers (low-key always been collecting nice packs as they are so cheap so SUPER STOKED on that) and then the 5 different strains, although I was told they're gona be 5 each, 2 of the packs had 6 in them so instead of 25 seeds, there is 27!!!! this is way more than just a prize, I can't wait to give you all the pics once I pop all those perky little pips! @Fridge I see man, well then let me help kick off the pro's and con's list of the options mentioned by @CreX get photos with the bit of extra physical labour from carrying in and out every day and a possibility of a normal harvest. or get autos, harvest a little less How about @StonerZN you got any other plants outside, or might that option work for you?

@Chris Jay As in all cases, the knife will always cut both ways, or in this case "be able to" cut both ways. I just invest my hopes and energies where I think it needs to be. Hopefully legislation passes in our favour, if only our damn "leaders" can pull their heada out of their asses. In that case I don't invest too many hopes, because that's will just bring a person down. way down.... so I am fully aware of the limbo show. keeping in mind, though, how far we have come. like you said with all the cannabis infused products and such. I see cannabis products in every second pharmacy I go into. I have to say, I am almost certain we gona be the ball in our hands soon, we just gotta keep playing the game!!!

How about just getting a light right above the plant outside? No need to bring it in, many flood lights are waterproof, you can mount it easy as pie. put it on a timer. probably will end up having some parts of the plant still pushing pistils early, but will surely keep the plant in veg till you take the light away.

Yeah man it sure can take a whole two to three weeks longer, but no hurry here, taking things slow and steady paying good attention to the girls needs. I had a perpetual thing going, that helped a lot with the time thing, you can just pop seeds and make clones when you want and other space always flowering. Now I only have space for the one tent. Did a 1.2g/w grow under a 250TW blurple in a 1mx1m space and I need to push those numbers!!! Built myself a 310W LED with samsung diodes HLG driver all that. No more games. Never really had problems with conditions and my IPM has always been in check, hopefully will be able to maintain that. Had a fuckup with AACT, gotta study a bit more and practice on other grows before implimenting that again. Just gona use ol' trusty biobizz and ff premium classic. Dechlorenated water. Rest will be spot checking, defoliating, LST and more spot checking.

about 18 months ago I got a whoooole bunch of seeds from Trophy, all singles shipped in little round tin containers with Trophy lables on and with breeder and strain names written in pen, each seed individually packed in a small plastic container. So no breeder packaging, but I guess cause they where all singles... at first I was pissed about not getting the original packaging, popped the seeds had 100% germ and the strains was definitly what it said on the lables... Had a whole bunch of different breeders aswell. Dutch passion, barneys farm, seeds man and others and I got 2 different Ethos strains. You could clearly see the difference in quality of breeder aswell. Guess I was just lucky.

we should do anything and everything in our power as growers and enthusiasts to support the locals. if by any stretch you find the SA cannabis scene to not be up to standards, it's supporting local that will get us there.

Hello mense, first I would like to mention, I am not really a crack addict, for those who aren't familiar with the saying. Got things running about a month ago, popped a few seeds mid Jan. 100% germ rate. Got a pack of Zkittly ZiZi - Bulk Seed Bank. Not expecting the best buds here, but I am expecting to learn quite a bit as I set my goals now to increase my yields and improve overall plant health from begin to end. Best to do that with one strain so I can clearly see changes if there are any. Besides the main focus, I also popped a single Super Lemon OG by Emerald Triangle Seeds, just because I know I will get tired of only having one strain to pick from! Got them vegging under the 360W(256TW) Blurple for now. Glad to be back!

What's up everyone, hope you're all doing great! It's been a while since I've been active on here an this is why. About two months ago I finally took the big step to cut all ties and invest literally all of myself into starting up a business with a guy who's been wanting to do this for a while. I gave my current boss the word, put in my last months notice and this week is my last week before everything starts. This is nothing cannabis related so more detail on that later. I am not trying to tell you guys my lifes story so will try stick to the important stuff! To help give some perspective, I am 25 and I live in the first place I've been renting on my own. Without a fixed income and untill there's a good cash flow again to get things running everything has to be as cost effective as possible. I've been meeting with people and the best setup is about 10mins drive from my parents house, so I am moving back to my home town and living with the rents untill things are up and running. This is was not an easy desicion to make, but I am confident in a positive outcome. As for my grow- I will have the 1mx1m tent setup running, but had to take apart the veg boX I built, as there wont be space for it. (At first. hahah) I am busy harvesting at the moment, got the last plant of 4 hanging, other 3 are jarred up and being burped daily. Photos and info will be posted in my thread regarding the grow. Also took the 4 ladies out the veg box, put them in their 20L pots and moved into the tent. Now I have to move with all this hahah the new cannabis bill was just in time!! A few of you might know, in July I ordered a few things off digikey, some of the stock was out so I opted for a backorder, they told me 8 weeks however it arrived in 5 weeks. Got my box 25th of August. Now I just have to put it all together, but will do that once I'm finished moving. Last thing, I built a big hot house, for cacti spesifically, at my rents place which is still there and they've got a nice garden with lots of space. So will probably do some outdoor stuff again too!! The hot house isn't the best for cannabis, but will see what can be done! That's about it, I look forward to giving you all updates on the light build and new grow. I will be growing in a completely different climate so will be interesting to see how adjustment goes. IMO, best medium to start with is earth. So, soil, I guess, but not bagged soil. Firstly to get to know the look of decent soil, that will hook one on the composition of the soil and from there you take it step by step. Some bagged soils may look and smell amazing and is adverized as the best thing under the sun and this can really be discouraging to some as most comercial soils do more harm than good when it comes to growing cannabis. Understanding the whole picture, instead of building an interest around one thing and seeing that as the holy grail and only thing that works, just because it makes more sense to you. More importantly, WHEN is the best time to START? Honestly, few years ago. Second best time is RIGHT NOW.

What's good mr.Scooooob That little fuckker is a Gnat Larvae. Eggs in the soil hatch out when conditions are favourable. It's only the first 5-10cm of the top soil that's the problem. The mixture of oxygen and moisture and bacteria in that area is often times just perfect for them and 90% of soil has some kinda bug eggs in it. Don't let your medium get water logged, if your medium doesn't dry out in 48hrs, give less at a time (in theory it's better to water 3 times a day than once every 3 days). Low air movement and high RH is what they want, so make sure your RH is where it needs to be and you got goooood air movement everywhere in the tent. (Undercanopy above the soil in this case) I am sure your Bioneem will help you a lot (doesn't solve the problem on contact, for that you will need Pyrol). Like you mentioned, keep spraying the Neem, weekly. Just don't spray during flower!!! I love bioneem, always have it on hand! If that light brown stuff on top of the soil isn't DE, I would also suggest to keep a good amount of Diatomaceous Earth on hand. Always. Mix it into all your grow mediums and top dress with it!!! Sorts out any living thing in the soils. I've even seen people wetting the plant and literally dust covering the whole plant. Leave it on the plant for 2 days and wash it off. You only grow outdoor? If so, do you use pots or in the ground? I agree, it's definitly economical in the long run. Going organic is really a way of investing in the future for your whole garden, if you're really into it, aswell as investing in yourself. You mentioned that one can really run into much bigger problems with organic than with synthetic grows, however building a thriving symbiote and some real fertile soil will make your grows seem effortless, it will be "just add water".

I see what you mean here and I've seen guys growing DWC and really doing some amazing stuff, no doubt about that. The reason why I wana grow organic is because it will stand the test of time. It is the knowledge that comes with it that I desire. I want to know about microbes, bacteria and nematodes and all the other living things. I believe, even though being not so skilled, I'll get there faster if I take the right steps. I've got some background with synthetic nutes, not only with cannabis. I feel at the end of the day the best for me is going to be to plant straight into the earth and growing organic will add to the knowledge one needs when cooking up some nice living soils. Creating your own mediums and amendments is what it's all about, for me.

I see what you mean, yeah. I am only doing my second grow with the material pots right now, but will look out for that in time. Right now I water manually once every 3/4 days. Should give less at a time so it can dry out even quiker, so I think my pots are still fresh. I get a bit worried when they don't dry out fast enough, but this is also only now during the colder times.

This is very interesting! I will keep an eye on my pots then. In your case, would a plastic pot dry out too slow?
