  1. Well, this sure makes me feel a bit better about the amount I'm at. I guess it also depends on your yields and such, efficiency of the grow. I have a friend that spent probably half of what I have and pulls harvests double the size of mine. He got lots of second hand items and his setup is bare and simple, only the essentials. He knows what he's doing and is just all around more knowledgable on these things and I also strongly believe the GrowGods bless him favourably. So much so that it kinda pisses me off at times! This guy can pull fucking top notch buds from a "swazi" bag seed grown in river sand middle of the winter (quite drastic exaggeration for dramaric effect) while I'm paying through the nose to get the right soil, right pots, right everything and then still face the everyday problems such as ph stress and deficiencies of all kinds. Anyway, nice to see I am not spending "too much"
  2. Ooooh, I remember you telling me about the one you carried outside everyday? 24°C is a good temp my dude and how big is the space?
  3. Greenhouses firlter sunlight. You will only increase the temps and humidity and that's if you don't have proper ventilation. You shouldn't be increasing anything with a greenhouse except your plant size. I agree that conditions for these plants are just unfavourable.
  4. Is this the lady growing under the 150w? Is she an auto? I should've been more clear hahah, but I actually meant I wanted to see the light lighting up the grow space? Can you gauge the temps coming from that light??
  5. Niiice! Hows she performing? Any pics of her running? 12000Lumens will surely outperform 3200Lumens. Actively Aerated Compost Tea. There's a couple threads on here that goes into depth, but basically you pump air into water with your organic nutes and other microbial rich ingredients in it. There's a couple of ways of doing it. The reason to do it is to provide the microbes with some more oxygen so they can thrive better, it also supplies the roots with oxygen along with the microbe enriched tea. I grow in FF premium classic with the aim to keep things as organic as possible. Still use some synthetic nutes here and there, but never enough to piss the microbes off. I plan on getting the full range of Greenhouse Power Feedings Organic range, super fucking expensive, but will never have to use any synthetic nutes again.
  6. Think I paid like 550, I posted it here somewhere, but in the range of 550. That light you got there, is that the 150w for R390 everyone was talking about?
  7. I have recently put together a small aact system, been brewing teas and I have to say I think that's what's making the big difference. The light definitly works too, but I can see the difference in all my plants.
  8. Hahah I have to say, I'm keeping this light. Was gona return it, but decided otherwise. If you guys wana get one, I found this one at a builders express, here's the box it came in
  9. @afternoon blazer Hi bud, Yeah, this 50w is blowing my mind. These ladies are all in 10L pots and I'm fast approaching them becoming rootbound. They have already filled up the grow space aswell, but as planned I will have them moving into the bigger space for flower and they'll be getting 20L pots by then.
  10. I have to agree with @afternoon blazer If I can have my name, or any name for that matter or even my own slogan or some shit on it, it would be the coolest thing ever! I guess that becomes a bit more of a thing if it's alongside a branded name, so I'm not designing my own thing completely. I guess that is something that's already available. I would say if you where thinking of making 10 caps for the first batch make 5 baseball caps and 5 ones with the flat brim. I just emailed Freedom Farms to get a hoodie from them an was just thinking how cool it would be to have my name or slogan on one of their hoodies. Sadly they don't have hoodies right now. Also excited to see your designs!!
  11. That's a nice looking cap, bro! I do not wear caps often, but support is what it's all about! If I was to wear one I would prefer the "baseball cap" design, if there is one. I am one for a more "professional" look, but with hoodies it doesn't matter too much as a hoodie itself is a little on the unprofessional side hahah. I am looking for a hoodie, though! So defs will support if hoodies with a nice design become available! Do you have a name or a catch phrase of some sort?
  12. What's up, bud! You must have me confused with another forum member, I am not growing a gelato at the moment, although I wish I was! Hope all the best with your new seed, excited to see how things unfold!
  13. Awesome bud! I would love to have a looksee at those designs! I do not move around much in the cyberspace, so I do not have instagram. Well, if I was gona support a bigger brand online I would have to pay courier so if I'm down to buy some goodies I'll pay the shipping! If possible you can pm me some photos on here?
  14. This should be interesting! That GPSqm is impressive @TheUltimateNoob This will be based on my grow from last year, about to finish up end of the mont then will check how things changed. My setup makes the math real easy, The numbers: 1mx1m tent. 250w blurple LED. Harvested 216g. GPW: 0.86 GPSqm: 216 WPSqm: 250 I saw that thread prom pulled just under 1kg in a 1mx1m space, absolutely ridiculous!!!
  15. Buying clothes , looking to support my local cannabis industry, anyone need support or know who to support?
  16. Hahah I'm quite impressed by it too! It's about 20cm, but I will have to check tonight if you want precise measurement?
  17. Just a little update here on the ladies under the 50w. Leaves are all shiney cause they got another Phyta and BioNeem treatment right before picture was taken.
  18. Flower day 47 Daily check ups, Seems the Blueberry is finishing up with some rather small buds, but they're plenty. Wondering about what could have gone wrong, but she just didn't respond at all to the last two feedings I gave, so I started flushing her. Not gona risk is and rather have a smaller harvest. This is the same plant I had ph problems with in the beginning of its life, that's all I can think of that might have caused this somehow. Got another seed sitting in the fridge, so excited to see what happens with that one! Blueberry Super Lemon Haze Cheeze Banana Hammock
  19. @afternoon blazer Shiiib, only a pleasure my dude! Here's something you might like, https://ledgardener.com/diy-led-strip-build-designs-samsung-bridgelux/ Someone on the forum was kind enough to provide me with that link, it's really all you'll need when going DIY LED. On the frame, cause of the 1mx1m space I'm planning a 80cm x 80xm frame so the light can comfortably fit inside and not fuck with my tent. Beams of the same alu T-strip across. Will have the best coverage possible, cause will have strip on the frame all over. There will be about 4cm gaps between each beam so no need for passive cooling, heat will be virtually non existant. That's about it!
  20. The cost of things? Alu - (local) R250 Strips - (Digikey) R2180 Driver - (Digikey) R1680 - Digikey has free delivery with anything over 2k, will see how much import tax is when we get there. Potentiometer + resistor - (Stepdads garage) Free, although if you gona buy it, it would be fairly cheap.
  21. I agree, awesome thread topic! @ChroniclyChronic That's one sexy frame you put together! I'm putting a 1mx1m flower room together. Got 15m of Alu T-strip. 3cmx3cm. Gona build a 80cm x 80cm frame and put 10 beams across. Here is what I ordered, Strips on backorder with 8 weeks waiting! FML Here's what I'm going for, Will have potentiometer for dimming aswell.
  22. I guess that counts, you going for better spread/coverage? You gona mount them on a frame to move up and down or hang them singular? Having them on a frame will reduce the workload when raising/lowering the lights.
