I give each plant about 2L of water every second day. Im more than happy with the other plants, only the Sour Diesel. It never looked like that so not sure if it could be a root zone problem.
-
Do you guys think there might be an issue with my Sour Diesel plant? The past week I noticed the leaves are drooping and just staying like that but otherwise the plant seems very healthy. Im also attaching pictures of my other 2 plants which receive the same treatment but not wilting. The first picture is that of the Sour Diesel Grow medium: Jamies Garden shop soil, cant remember the name Nutrients: Microbes Water: Rain water Grow environment: Outside during sunlight hours Age: 2 months 9 days

I have read so many reviews in the last couple of days regarding this strain but unfortunately its a bit above budget. Hopefully next year but its awesome that you stock such a strain.

Organics: The GLO way
SAgrower replied to Green Leaf Organics's topic in Organic Growing - Growing in soil
I came across this thread when I was searching for something else and thought I'd give it a bump. So much valuable information. -
I have a sour diesel in this soil as a test. Its been in there since it was 3 weeks old. I only added microbes to the soil and have not had 1 issue thus far.

I saw something similar once when I sprayed Margaret Roberts and a single drop of it was just sitting on the end of the leave.
-
Special queen one should be done this weekend according to RQS. Thoughts?
-
Anyone have an idea what these things are?
-
The plants are looking healthy. Had a bit of a white fly issue but some Margaret Roberts quickly sorted out that problem.

Understandable. I have neighbours who are both in SAPS and they obviously smell when we smoke so now they do not allow their kid to play at our house anymore which is actually very sad seeing as the child was allowed previously when we smoked incognito but anyway. Goodluck with the Eskom issue as I dont see it going away any time soon. What about building some type of "greenhouse" outside where the neighbours will only see the structure. Then, grow some herbs, tomatoes etc and give them some, saying you built the structure because you are interested in growing so vegetables etc.
-
A bit off topic but what is the issue with the neighbours if you dont mind me asking?
-
That's my thinking also thanks. Will monitor them a bit more closely now and make a call if it continues, not worth keeping one plant for the sake of just keeping it.

Not sure if its perhaps the cold or if it could be the new plugs installed in the garage. The plug has that glow in the dark strip on the switch but not sure if that could be enough to cause it to hermie. Oh well, all part of the learning process. I have taken the plant inside and busy removing the sacks, not even 7 of them so will see what happens now.
-
Thanks for the help, appreciate it. I have 3 plants currently, next run will be 4/5 as this was just a sort of experimental grow. Perhaps I should try to remove them somewhere else and see how it goes, just to gain a bit of knowledge. Thanks again
-
Hahaha! So I took some more pictures this morning, excuse the quality. I suspect this one might be a hermie. Do I leave it as is or do I remove the sacks? Theres not even 10 of them or is this now the state the plant will stay in? Am I correct in assuming that a hermie can also pollinate my other plants?

Currently not at home but will take another picture later.

Bit of paranoia setting in. Could someone have a look at the picture and confirm what is going here. This is the special queen 1 from RQS, feminised seed.

Time for another update. Plants were flipped on 25 July. I dont think I will go back to normal commercial soil, the soil from@SkunkPharm is working beautifully and I really like the fact that I just give them rain water. I gave them some malted barley the other day but prefer this method to having to measure nutrients each day etc. I have very limited experience with growing cannabis but Im very happy with the way they look now.
-
Unfortunately Im not yet experienced enough to answer you on that my apologies. If you put them outside at 6am is it still completely dark or are there some lights in the vicinity? The greenhouse will depend on the material used as the cover I assume. What is the reason for taking them outside at 6am?
-
If there's enough / correct light outside at 6am then yes
-
Plants are looking good well done. Do you think there will be enough space for the plants when you flip them? Space looks a bit tight there.
