I haven’t done a defoliation yet but tied some bigger fan leaves down to allow better light penetration. I’m thinking of getting this girl to spread out as much as possible. Take a few clones when topping after a bit more growth upwards. Once she’s big I’ll probably flower her by herself, considering a scrog to get the best use of my coverage. Thanks bud! Those years spent following so many brilliant grows on this forum and prior ones paid off. Currently I’ve had to water them two to three times a week depending on the weather. So I’ve been doing one feeding of fish emulsion for primary grow nutrients, not idea as I’d rather be using biobizz grow but very tight on bucks at the moment. Also been doing top dressing with worm castings which has been great for young plants, have yet to burn them as a result of the castings. Then I do a clean feed of RO water with a PH of 6,5-6,7. The thinking behind this is to reduce a salt buildup from some of the inorganic bites I’m using. Then every third watering I give them some nutriplex bloom and Micro but at way below the recommended dosage. Otherwise I do feed with kelpack and amino mix on occasion but my thinking behind this is that it’s primarily to reduce stress and develop healthy vigorous roots. I’d love any suggestions, I’m pretty conservative with the dosages about 2-4 drops of the specific nutrient per liter of water. This is mostly guesswork on my part. Thanks for the feedback guys! Sorry for not updating recently life has been crazy. So her are some images of what’s been happening, have time stamped most of them as I can’t keep track of dates. First signs of girls. Then the vanilla kush was reset to regular upward growth to get a bushier plant and LST other sections. The SA is still a bit slow. Images of results of LST on plants in flower. Update[emoji33]: Been feeding grow and kelp in small amounts. This is the flower chamber, one confirmed female, three suspected females and the rest are unknown at the moment. Then a magical hemp420 ganja fairy gifted me with some proper genes. A vanilla kush and strawberry amnesia clone. I would just go for the 10 one time. I have in the past flipped the lights and after seeing what the sex is I reported to 10L pots and they survived. The 1st 3 weeks of the flowering the plants is still strong and resilient just like the veg stage. Its not [glow=red,2,300]really[/glow] the best thing to do because that's the time they send out roots to see how much space they have (,am I correct here ? ) but when I don't have a choice when it comes to Bagseed or regulars that's the way it rolls here in my area. I still say flip now before you get your hands full and not enough space. What they grow space measurements in there ? Thanks for the 2c bud. Flipped them to flower two days ago, at first signs of sex females are getting a 10l pot. I’ve got about 1.2m wide x 0.8m deep x 1.6 high. Not using all the width as I don’t have enough coverage for that. Update on the ladies(hopefully): I took off a lot of old growth on some of them after the light burnt them a bit. Some are getting nice and bushy. I don’t expect a big yield from these as they’re quite small but I’d like a run with bagseed before I put any good genetics in here. Ahoy Smokey Geez they've come a long way and looking good man. I am busy with 2 plants Indoor that I started on a 12 12 cycle from seed and they got waaay bigger than I wanted. Luckily I had the space to adjust. So why not just flip the switch now and wait to see what happens [emoji47] But that all depends on how much space you have as well. Thanks bud appreciate it. I’ve gone and repotted most of them and given them a topping. They’re staying nice and squat so I’ll veg them for another week and see what they look like then. Being regular seeds I can’t wait for them to start showing sex so I can choose my favorites to start flowering. I want to keep them short and have very low expectations in terms of yield. Gave them a solid watering today after two days dry. Been struggling to get round but they still looked fine. They’re looking really good and recovering from my mistakes. So much variation between the same bankie of high grade tunnel grown white widow. I doubt the truth behind the genes and am sure they’re muddled up genetics in them. Welcome to the Cape of good dope! Glad to have you on the forum. It’s a bit of a gray area at the moment, the high court ruled that private consumption and cultivation should not be illegal but this has not been ratified by parliament. I think they’re convening in a month or so regarding the high court. So at the moment the boys in blue can still arrest/raid your grow but when it gets to court you can use the Judge Davis judgement to attempt to have the charges withdrawn (this has been successful in the Belville magistrates court) or apply for a stay of prosecution pending judgement from the constitutional court. So the chances having having a criminal conviction if just in possession of cannabis is low if you have all your paperwork ready for said day. At the end of the day, keep it discrete don’t tell anyone about it including friends and non-permanent relationships. Lose lips sink ships and if you keep it to yourself you should be perfectly fine. I might just be paranoid but I don’t want to spend any time in a cell. I get most of my supplies from hydroponic.co.za and from greenthumb if they don’t have what I need. Have a look at freedom farms organic promix, my plants are loving it.
