i send them a msg and see how fast they answer. Home Connect didnt answer yet. Did, they are very limited in contact options. Internet Service Provider you cant contact over the internet we implemented click and call options for websites 28 years ago. Vodacom can even terminate voice, is there main business but offer no client services to contact them beside a phone number, tells you right away, fiber has no priority in their company, is just a side kick. Help desk couldnt even connect me to the fiber guys, just gave phone number to call. I just see a nightmare coming my way, if i need support on that contract.

When i get regular seeds i make my own seeds. Right now i buy the seeds. This batch is Nirvana. 25 seeds per 1.2x1.2 area. Had 96 from 100 to pop and sort out depending on growing strength. Full tent, want to see if i can reach 1.5kg dry per square meter. Doing my homework for the coffeeshop i want to open when legalized, see where i stand, what my climate control can handle. New location, had to build setup new.

If you are in CT, Cannabliss, 202 lower main, observatry, does tests. Last time there 120 first, 90 every follow up, if i remember correctly. Just potency, thc and cbd. They use the same method as Qure, just the Israelian version, Qure uses the Humboldt machine. They told me, tests are accurate compared to the expensive chromatograph versions. In a few years we have cheap machines to test at home, then the seed banks will get into real trouble. Cannabliss also does Brix numbers, if you want your sugar tested, bring 4, 5 fan leaves per plant. Collect at least 4 hours after light is on. i aim to have 15% or more sugar in my leaves.

Thanks, i check em out. Last i tried was RSAWeb. Had to click "Activate my fiber line", ended with an error to please write email to support, with the email address provided to contact. Did that twice, 4 days ago one response came back to please define more accurate, what my problem is. Network, billing,...? Just wrote back: with which of the three words they have a problem understanding? The word "Activation", the word "not" or the word "working". i hate it, when they not even read your mail at all. there was no error code, just "Woopsie!". Woopsie cost em a customer signing up for 2 1000/200 lines. i worked in the internet business 35 years ago... have to grin rather often when in contact with a SA ISP.

Have me a good one? i struggle to find one not even messing up installation, the most standard procedure there should be. I just picture i have a real issue. 9 days of 'today' just to much

And the 288 QBs i use. Very even light profile, no ac running at all.

Name and shame... doesnt helps much. I send my lab results to pacificseedbank.com. The Charlottes Web were from CBD Depo. They still use them as one of their major CBD seed producers. They, the seed bank itself, doesnt give a funk about what ever bad comment there is on some sites. People dont really check those... and as nobody really gets the genetics tested they buy... they have no idea what they actually consume. Is really El Dorado out there... and they sell you shit for gold. Do your homework.. all you can do right now.

Nope, thc, cbd profile is about 100-150 rand for a test. Terpine profiles are expensive but that you only do on plants you finally work with and selected. Not knowing what you work with is the path to a mediocre to disastrous result. I got "medical" Charlottes Web from a Canadian supplier... was total BS and had more THC as CBD content. If you want to go commercial, you MUST test each plant you start with or you have a very high risk wasting your time. If the clone doesnt come with a lab test, you simply have to do it yourself before you invest a lot of time. Seed fraud is massive out there with medical, pure CBD genetics! Havent found one yet.... all i got tested so far had way to much thc content inside.

160 is a bit big. I use 150 to pre sif and use 120 and 75 for the 2 qualities of hash. If you have good material to work withm you should get a good amount of 75 micron hash. My sifs fit nice into each other, so is a one shake for all qualities. You have to work cold, to warm and all just sticks together and messes up your sifs. Dry ice helps to make all a bit more easy and adds time to process.

This is more off topic Man i hate CoolIdeas, the internet service provider. Moving all off, what a bunch of useless morons they have in support. i have seen some incompetent techs... those guys beat them by light years. They dont understand the word "today" and use it way to often.

my clone 2.4x2.4 sucks 4k per month... before the price hike. HID lamps generate double the heat... you need double the cooling power. He can be happy it only draws 10k a month... we talk 4 x 1.2x1.2, isnt small he will easy run 5500 watts on light times with ac and 400 watt during dark time... if it gets cold in winter, little heater... lets say 400watt on top. And i use very energy efficient inliners... 10k bro, with the april price hike, that is what i expect... will be more.. as i added a tent

also... to plant autos in their final pot is a good idea. Do the same with a photo, isnt. Potting up gives you a better root system and speeds up their grow rate. Till you get the hang how much water the strain consumes, lift the pot. Heavy, no water, feather light, water till run off and let dry up again. If you keep the medium to wet they slow down and if you over water for to long, they will show you the finger. The wet dry cycle is very important. I saw no fertilizers, is the organolux or how ever soil ^^ all in one?? You need NPK, silica and amino acids. I do not like all in one soils. Just to mention that too Put your pots close together and hang the light according to instructions you got with the grow lights. Those 4x600 should light a 2.4x2.4 area, use what your lights can flower or you end with to many plants to finish. After this grow you will understand all way better, isn't rocket science what we do... but starting to drive a car in the formular 1.... will leave you frustrated. Scale down to what your lights can handle is my suggestion, you should end with a result you enjoy... just... add!! fans. I run 2 x 150mm inliners to suck filtered air in and 2, same models, to suck out. That is your air exchange. 6 times tent volume per minute is a good amount. And then you need mixers to blow over the plants... as much as you can without damaging the plants. Growing indoor isnt difficult, but also not that easy

Mhhh i can tell you once all tents run at the new spot unit price goes up the more you buy. The last week of the month is the most frustrating i took the 20.5% Eskom price hike in those 10k... was on 8.3k before, since the 2 ACs are powered down, life is better, Jan and Feb were nasty hot this year.
-
Cheapest energency light is one of those. You still have to set them according to your dark times. Not helping they activate when it should be dark Plants will not grow but the sensors will tell is light phase. Or run autos and ignore what eskom does

Insane in the Prombrain Running on 200 to 350 micromole PAR light, dropped seeds last Saturday. Best coverage i got with 8 QBs on 100%, hang very high

Light matters i repeat it rather often. I would say is heat stress, you dont have enough light to stress them. 16m2... 4x4 meter. I see no way how you will get dense flower material, just not enough energy to pump into the ladies. 2400 watt HID light.. that is half as efficient to v3 LED tech, winter no issue, your lights produce more heat then light. Who told you to buy HID... kick his nuts! I use 1900 watts LED light on a 2.4x2.4 area. Friend uses 2400 watts. I try energy efficiency, he just wants big buds In your case, i would x4 your light for flowering. Eskom will giggle as you will have to bring in a big ass AC too. I would guess 40k a month for electricity, so learn to grow before you go big... it costs. My 2.4x2.4 sets me down 10k a month (summer). Go LED, import lights and drivers. Just did, 16 x 120watt QBs, drivers, no dimmers. With import customs charges, quite acurate 25k rand. You would need at least 54 QBs on a 16m2 area... and with that amount of light, very good ventilation. Winter easy, summer you need AC. 2 to 3 20k btu units should do. Ventilation. As many inliners blow in, you suck out. Plants like even pressure. Inside you need a lot of air moving, stagnant pockets will not grow. No co2, no carbon to build stuff ^^ 4mx4m area, at least 8 40cm fans to shift air... you go bigger, you can go less fans. sorry, bad news... but your setup isnt working in that configuration
-
10-11 liter pots. Mainly check that the square pot has 30cm on top, so you fit 4 perfectly inside. Competition is for one plant.
-
I would highly recommend to get both items they fit very well together. I have the same setup for competitions now. Size wise the tent fits perfectly 4 Autos. 200g all 10 weeks (with the right strains)... that should be a sales argument I would grab it if I wouldn't have it already. Lets see how fast this is gone

Is the find of this year for me so far.. and rather sure she will stay No1.. hard to beat. Love the weed.. i have a batch running and wanna check late harvest. Also on the final selection steps of the Lemon OG Haze.. might have found a winner.. not like a sour drops ^^ but smell and taste was clear defined on 1 plant. Final batch clones will tell me if I keep the mother or dump it.
-
As Eskom prices just went up, I also work on an idea to reduce electricity cost. Use the inliner more effective to shift air inside the tent. Not sure it will work as planned, but didn't cost much ^^ Also, is for autos the setup, not clones. Are just half the QBs visible, I add the other 50% when they go veg and running.

Sorry ^^ I was busy.. OK is not a was.. is still a AM busy I moved location and have a bigger granny flat available. So I add a tent, building it up right now and imported the lights. Waiting for the drivers to drop in tomorrow. Will use my standard 288 3000k 660nm QBs with LM301H diodes. Beside I build a Studio with installed backdrops (3).. so I should also be able to take some decent pictures. Not that you get the idea is just for plant pictures have some friends who want to attack OnlyFans a bit mainly with live streaming. Beside we started to produce a Metasphere Game.. life isn't overly boring at the moment. And still haven't moved all ^^ my big tent i move when there is harvest to be done. Photos just take ages to finish Weed news.. I added 2 plants to my mother tent. No1 is a Bubblelicious Hermanus, is a hunted pheno I got as a mini flowering plant 9 month ago. Re-veged, made clones and let em grow in peace. Took clones and went for a round to grow the weed till finish. A UK guy just over for visit, called it the best weed he ever smoked. I wouldn't go that far, but fruitiness is very very pleasant. Isn't a day smoke. No2 is a Ginger Tea, I got also from @Stinger96 and know it is from @SkunkPharm. I liked the name right away and was very skeptical if the name would fit. Gave it a fair shot, the plant isn't overly difficult to grow.. the Bubblelicious is not easy compared. The weed smells nice.. wouldn't call it Ginger thou.. but and that was the pleasant surprise. When you smoke it, it tastes exactly like Ginger Tea, amazing! Not just the taste, it even has that little 'bite' at the end Ginger does to you. And this weed is a real energizer. My creativity and motivation to move just goes up a lot. Friend said the same, he finished the kitchen he was renovating without getting bored ^^ Perfect day smoke. Nice find, @SkunkPharm!

I join @SkunkPharm with the potassium bicarbonate. If the plant was outside, must be longer as a week flowering by now, we are beginning of March. Copper and Sulphur work.. but don't spray it on flowers you want to smoke at the end. Is not good for your health as some will stay back inside the flower.. isn't good for the taste anyway! Spray that on during flower and you will get very unfriendly tasting smokes.

If you run a decent size tent, which produces a fair amount of heat, consider to use the exit air as dry medium. The air coming out of the flower tent should be in their 50ies if humidity is high, 40ies if low. I live a 15 minute walk from the beach.. so humidity can go really crazy. And due to the huge swings, letting it hang can suddenly cause more issues. My dry regime is rather easy but a bit work intensive. As I work with Clones or Autos, the plant size isn't over the top. I remove all fan leaves before hanging the whole plant in my air circulation room (second filtered one goes out directly under the roof), room also harbors the AC if needed. When things go really crazy, there is no way around the AC or losing the harvest.. as soon as I am happy with the dryness of the buds.. the sticks and stems still way to wet, I remove the undressed buds into jars with hydrometers. Lock the lid and as soon as the hydrometer goes over 65%, the jars go open right under the fan flower tent exit for 2 hours. Then lock and start the game again till I have em around 60% for 2 days.. 58-62 is my range of happiness. The buds will start to cure till i decide to dress them. In any case I only dress once the jar is balanced. The goal is never ever to dry below 50% that makes the smoke bitter, no matter what you do after. But 8% is a good gap and you come to the point, where you get the right humidity in 2 ventings (under the tent exit air stream). Friend just lost half his harvest to mold inside the bud, hanging it in a dry tent, even 2 dehumidifiers running.. was just to moist for to long and 75% air moisture, the dehumidifier can't win that if you suck in all the time air from outside. If you lock the outside inside air flow and run the AC, you get way better results and win humidity wise, CO2 concentration will drop over time, but.. better as to moist anyhow. Salt doesn't work, you can only separate the water if you put heat in again, the salt will re-crystalize.. but then just run a dehumidifier, last thing you want during summer is more heat. My flower tent is more or less shut down since mid December, not fighting the humidity and heat.. if I have enough solar power up to run the AC free during sun time, I might grow again in summer.. March I put things back up.. and simply avoid the crazy times.
