Sorry.. i am very short on time.. had to lay down for a week as my back told me so. Have to catch up. Hella Jelly's are harvested. Flower has a very sweet smell.. like a box of gummi bears.. and the smoke is also very sweet in your mouth. Potency wise it kicks, 2 bongs and I have to sit down. I run a bit into a time issue.. if somebody wants to pickup the Hella Jelly clone with PM resistance, please contact me. First one gets it and hope will distribute some clones to the community. I have also some grow gear to sell rather soon.. if somebody wants something, please let me know, i put the stuff up on the classified page soon soon Tents: 2 x 2.4x2.4 Mars 1 x 1.2x1.2 Mastergrow 1 x 1.2x0.6 Mars 1 x 0.6x0.6 Infinity I let the tents stand, who picks up can inspect and I pack em quick. Small ones a few seconds, for the 2.4x2.4 I need about 5 mins to pack up the tent for transport. Lights: 2 x Mars TS-3000 (450w) 12 x 240w 288 QB's 3000K 660nm (drivers are dimmable, but no dimmer installed) 1 x 120w 288 QB 3000k 660nm (with dimmer) 1 x MZ 720 - 144 Mars All run on Mean Well drivers beside the MZ, have one 240w 48B spare and un-used Air: 6 x TD-500/600 silent inliner 1 x TD-500 silent inliner (older model) Power cord and plugs are installed. Just got good news.. will have legal growing in Germany when I arrive. That is how it looks when a government actually works for the people and not for own profit only...

The Hella Jelly's are still flowering, in week 10 now. They are dark, so no pic, but they create some sexy colas. You get a picture of the clone i tòok of the plant ignoring PM

This is not a 'race' issue.. this is the issue of the South African people against a corrupt government. If you stand outside in the street protesting and point out the obvious.. anybody coming your way accusing you of racist intentions is most likely a ANC member trying to discredit you. If that is discouraging you, you do not understand the current situation. SA is not 5 minutes before 12, it is 25 PAST 12. This country is in free fall right now and urgently needs somebody to pull the parachute or things will go very sour. Only one who can pull it.. are the people of South Africa and it doesn't matter what skin color they have... skin color never matters. The only way to judge a person should be over its BEHAVIOR! The color of a car doesn't makes it faster.. a person claiming that just shows he/she has a super low IQ, not understanding what a color is. Pity them and ignore what ever they drop out of their mouth.. is garbage all along. You want back to a normal life and standard of living? Sorry, not for you bro. You guys have to pull the finger out of your ass and do something to change it. The people have to raise their voice, otherwise this ship will sink..
-
If you want change.. you have to become that change. The moment SA gets a leader with a decent brain, things will flow again. Take a cardboard write on how you feel and connect it to a wooden stick or what ever you find. Then stand with that in the road and hold your sign up. If there are 100k standing in the road demanding the removal of the ANC and investigation into their financial records of the last 30 years. Just demand the stolen money back and see... how fast things can change. I also strongly recommend not putting presidents in place not able to pronounce numbers, it reflects a bit the capacity of their brain. If you guys sit home and simply accept... you become responsible the same way. Wait till there is a single power cut in Europe.. got announced, never happened.. but if... people would flock to the streets and voice their opinion. Your government simply recognized that the sheeple in SA are not exercising their duty of a citizen. Perfect conditions for corruption... people just shake their heads and do nothing... who wouldn't have a grab in the money pot???? Comes in SA with a 'Ignore Jail and go back to start directly' monopoly card Sitting home will not change a thing... seat to cozy? When the 99% out there have enough, your seat will burn...

Eskom gave a fair warning, they are collapsing and the world seem to have picked up on SA too... just came out and hits the nail on its head We know is worse actually https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHDUIt6BtRo

And some Pictures of the JetFuel.. they really enjoy the no pots growing and I am getting better with my FIM cuts Planted my last tray of Sour Diesel in the flower tent.. that should be it, booking my ticket in the next 2 months. One of the Hella Jelly's i took a clone from is more or less PM immune. I didn't used 'resistant' as the difference is like day and night. Picture a tent with the worse PM you ever saw and in the middle of the mess a 1.5 meter tall plant with NOTHING on it ^^ I will take clones of the plant and drop it into the CT community. More or less my far well present.

Already July.. so a bit a disaster report The Hella Jelly's are not done after 7 weeks of flower.. what a surprise but.. also had some weird light flower times. Plant structure is top, strong and decent node spacing. Haven't done pics yet.. they are also surprisingly PM resistant. Clones... yeah, I have found my way to run clones.. no pots works awesome! With a uninterrupted ventilation, I would have jumped in circles to express my joy They are not done.. that is visible.. but they also love to form rather big mains with unlimited root space. Planted them in the 1.2x1.2 tray and left them alone. Using 2 nets to keep em up, but the nets got installed before I put the clones. I just dump 20 liter at a time into the tray to water the plants. It makes sense to leave the 4 corner plants out, they can run into dry issues. I used 6 to 8 clones per row, 6-8 rows. Depends a bit how the clones grow and how many you can place. Experience will show you. JetFuel Can't control PM when there is only 2 hours of power in a 12 hours time span.. so they get washed, no option really, PM rather harsh in that tent.. more surprising how good the Hella Jelly's are resisting. I post some pics of those soon, busy day ^^

And a little update. Could harvest the full no pot tray and the result, for mostly stage 6 flowering, Okisch. The Hella Jellies are also flowering.. but not sure they are done end June.. that is when they would hit 7 weeks flower... and again.. stage 6 most of the time. Ginger Tea (Left undressed, right dressed) Very smooooooooooth.. zero throat irritation.. tastes like Ginger Tea, hence the name The Hella Jelly's are mid flower.. after schedule they reach end June 7 weeks flower.. and that should be it.. but they also endured stage6 for most of the grow. Don't think they are done end June.. or they would do a miracle transformation the next 3 weeks Didn't put em in the sun as they have dark right now, just cleaned out quick for the picture. Right now I do not care to much.. I decided to leave and not find out what stage 16 will do to a country. So not in a good space... rather sad.

The last medical seeds i purchased (Charlottes Web) were just junk seeds (10$ a bean junk seeds). As it was for a person with epilepsy, i got it tested to be able to mix the right concentration.. is how I found out I got sold junk. Had more THC then CBD and was declared with <1% THC. What ever you buy and want to use as medical application... you MUST get tested. As seeds look the same and people usually don't test what they grow.. the medical seed market is totally fucked up. I remember that I must have made a rather stupid face when the guy told me that the concentration i washed had 37% THC and 29% CBD.. totally useless junk.. really totally useless I wrote the seed bank... never got an answer back Last time I looked into Medical Seeds.
-
He might look for the THCV compound. It has some rather specific characteristics and the main to point out, it seem to mitigate the negative effect of THC. If you look for it because you want to slim down I would just do a diet hehehe Has some other medical properties but I think the main effect is, THVC doesn't gives your greenies/green fever/whatever. And i agree.. you will have to import.. that is a total niche plant. Would be rather surprised if somebody in SA gaves it much attention. And just to add... there isn't much scientific research done on THCV yet.. so I would not waste to much time. The appetite reduction and slimming down effect couldn't get proven in a study, both groups lost same. I would wait till there is more known before investing to much time.

I have the advantage that I have an apartment waiting for me and I do not have Visa issues.. i gave myself the little exit, if Eskom goes over Stage 8 the first time, I book my tickets for me and my dogs out of here. I like indoor growing and Germany wants to legalize it too. I have better chances to get it over there as here... the ANC is just not doing ANY of the jobs they should do. I see absolutely NOTHING positive coming from Stage 16 for several weeks.. nothing.. so the moment Eskom goes over stage 8, I am gone. Enduring load shedding since 2008.. I kinda had enough ^^ And honestly I have the fear that South Africans will vote the ANC again...

Cutting from a friend.. is the standard Exodus Cheese hovering around the area. Good but not really special.

200 R for a seed is just to much for most SA growers. Most, I mean 99.9% ^^ So those seeds sit around a long time... if you buy expensive genetics.. OK.. is just mid range would see to get it directly.. not for the cheaper price.. more for seed freshness. The older the seeds.. the less unlikely they sprout. I had 3 year old Dutch premium genetics... just germinated them... 5 critical autos, 5 GSC autos. 4/5 critical sprouted... 0/5 GSC, same plate, same climate conditions. Just looked at a clone cutting ^^ 10k$US.. so over 190'000 Rand no worries.. just looking hehehehe

Also more thinking to leave... as sad as it would be... but when you spin the 'nearly no power' for weeks a bit further, things start to look rather bleak. If I can bridge is one thing, what does the supermarkets and shops in need for constant cooling do? Food prices will explode with 24/7 diesel backup. I see things going south very very hard... so please, if somebody has some killer arguments to stay, would love to hear them. I try to convince myself very hard not to leave... failing so far.

Forgot to report about the Hella Jelly's... they went Flower a few weeks ago ^^ Am more busy with a new way to tackle the 1kg dry per sq with clones. My small pot attack improved the quality but bud size didn't convinced me. Quality very happy but bigger buds I would need to get to the desired goal. So we chuck the small pot attack... was a nightmare to feed anyhow ^^ And went with no pots at all. They now grow directly in a 1.2x1.2 tray.. makes watering super easy.. just dumping 15 liters per tray with a bucket 36 clones in a tray. The Eskom Stage 16 announcement really got me into panic mode. There is no WAY i could keep my Mother Tent from flowering with anything over stage 8. So yeah... freakin panic mode! My ex will borrow me 200k... I order a solar set from China and see how much I get with that amount of money. Will bridge me the house and mother tent 100%.. everything additional is just luxury after. But I am not sitting without power for weeks... no Sir! Have years of work in my mother plants.. loosing them would make me jump off a bridge

Just watched the Video... ^^ had Autos going over 2m. So no, autos don't stay small by default Would be easier if a Coco dude helps you with the fertilizer, I am no big help and I would do more or less everything different as he did in the video Just the mini cup plant he had was just not how you handle Autos. The amount of CalMag he uses blew me a bit away.. thank good you can't really over feed those, the plant takes what it needs, the rest goes with the wash out if concentration is oversaturated. You need that much in Coco?? Anybody can help me out?
-
I wouldn't say you have an issue... the fish bone pattern you most likely diagnose Mg deficiency on... doesn't match with the green. Mg deficiency always also yellows out the leaves (bottom). New leaves look good... and after the last response.. no complains how you handle things. If you have the same readings the next day as the day before, you can skip the over night wait, you do all correct the first time. PH can fuck you over super quick... why, as a beginner, giving you a second read before you feed.. can prevent surprises. The moment I pH huge containers, 150L area, i always suggest and do a over night wait, just to be sure it fits, will feed a lot of plants. Autos are perfect for Eskom fuckups.. the more light the more potent, but they will finish with a good result. Lift the pot to be sure they need feeding. You can feel very easy if the pot is wet or dry.
-
As you gave em CalMag.. no way they have a Mag deficiency (if handled correctly). Plants look good.. and you always check the new growth.. the old fan leaves can discolor and will never change back to normal, damage stays. A bloom fertilizer in week 2 is a bit early.. but also not really damaging either. Same to the pots, 20L for autos is a bit big.. but works too, i prefer 10L pots. You run 24/7 light cycle because of load shedding or you run 24/7 with backup? That sentence bugs me: For now, I just mixed 3ml Cal Mag into 3.75 litres of pH balanced water (no other nutes) and gave the two plants a heavy watering. You pH the solution AFTER you put your fertilizers in... the solution you feed your plants need to be in the right pH range.. not the water you use. You over care... look that your plants get the needed wet/dry cycles and stick to the fertilizer manual. They need magnesium for the chlorophyll, but also not in huge amounts. A CalMag feeding a month should handle the need... if you run the wrong pH in the solution, the plants can't absorb the Mg.. and you will run into issues even if you feed em daily. I recommend to let the solution you mixed and put the pH in the right area to stand over night and do a second pH test before feeding. If the solution is still in the right range, you are good to go, if not, adjust it again. Is critical that the plants get the right pH or things go very fast very bad. Just google: Coco choir pH range for Cannabis You should end with a picture showing you all nutrients the plant needs and in what pH range it can get absorbed. I have Soil charts... not helping you or I would have posted.

Other option is heat to keep humidity low.. but heat costs more as ventilation ^^ I use mirrors during the day time to get light into the tent, worked well but ^^ shattered the big one. Thinking on putting 2 on tri pods to bridge power outs, just for the Veg tent.. mother tent has 2 backup LED lights.. but worse and will not work anymore.. stage 6 is a bit my absolute limit right now.
-
That depends on the strain too. You get indications from the breeder when you buy seeds. Old School weed... GSC, WW, NL,AH,... hover around 18%.. indoor or outdoor. The indoor advantage is the creation of perfect conditions. Rain going down on a mid flower outdoor tree isn't helping. Reached 18.6% on a GSC indoor. The new strains on the market are more in the 25-30% range, some even go over 30... but that is lab condition grown weed... perfect/perfect
-
Ventilation in/out never stops.. so is a easy 24/7 calculation. You can reduce the ventilation inside the tent in your Veg tent... not recommended to do that in the flower tent. The Veg tent needs in general less ventilation.. helps to keep humidity high. Tent size... a full tent runs best.. so half a 2.4x2.4 will work but your 'side' plants will get less light as if all sections would run. Can also just start with a 2.4x1.2, is the same access if you would work inside a 2.4x2.4 but side reflection just helps. Light is important Growing indoor is a efficiency game. Also, the tent gets the climate from the room it stands in. Bring the room to the needed temperature and sort the tent over the ventilation. You will notice that as soon as the plants go into night mode, they exhale. Moisture goes up not just by the drop of temperature. Is in general the night times causing PM issues, so ventilation is super important to run all the time. Light phase it removes heat, dark phase it removes moisture. Bad ventilation kills all the fun... Will be a fun project to see what you can do and what is just to much for a heat pump. Would be cool if you could document it, i like tech shit and trust me... your setup will look very different once you got all dialed in. Right now.. with load shedding.. you will learn the hardest way possible.. keep that in mind too. Just read that Eskom wants to setup load shedding schedules up to Stage 16 now.. that means.. 24 hours dark at 16.. that would kill indoor growing once and for all. And a fun number.. for 2023 we had so far 2 days no load shedding at all. Not sure i prepare for worse or to leave.. leave would suck.. but stage 16 would bring monstrous issues. I think I fire up everything and build myself a stash till Eskom goes dark If they announce it, they know it will happen... would take it serious.
