  1. Plants look nice.. just so much waste of space Only having one main makes sense of very bud heavy plants.. in your case I would have topped each plant during veg and look that you get at least 6-10 sides. You still can lolipop those sides. But growing a plant for 10-15g harvest.. is a bit of a waste. I don't reach 50g on a plant, I kinda call it a fail. The result is nice.. so you know how to treat that strain.. do a second round, 50% of the plants and top them after the 7 node, remove the lower 2-3 double nodes. Let them go wide, if they don't, LST. If you get enough buds, they will keep them self up.. bud on bud growing
  2. Changing the plug.. shouldn't void your warranty. If both inliners gave up in that short time, something is wrong with the build of that series. I would contact them and ask.. 3 months run time is waaaaaaaaaaaay to short

Update day 2 of week 5 Nothing, just went mother tent during load shedding. And Video again just from 5 to 6 June.. started a top down camera, second one, this morning. Had time to search for the tripod and a second USB cable to power it.
  5. They put some thought into their lights.. and the controls are best I saw so far. If you look for a new light, might want to chat up Flame.. hope she is as hot has her name hehehehe Contact: flamepeng@ledlightinside.com Site: https://www.ledlightinside.com I like those bar lamps Datasheet-Sundro Series led grow bar-RYGH.pdf Price List 1000 Watt, 700 Watt, 510 Watt and 250 Watt option S1000 1-50 Units 681.64$ S700 1-50 Units 486.33$ S510 1-50 Units 369.14$ S250 1-50 Units 232.42$ 2 Dimmer options Knobs or Touch Screen, the Touch Screen looks very sexy ^^ but is 100$ Thinking to get a 510 or even a 700 to try.
  6. And some non comp pictures ^^ Sprayed the flower tent with Serenade. Should be a dry day today.. time to clean up and get the protection levels up again. Otherwise CT is rather wet this year. 6 days after the last pic.. the screened Pineapple Darth Pini is also growing... The Slurricane is rather quick but still quite a bit out. Looks and smells very tasty. And the compare project. Left Bio Heaven, right Amino Boost. I see no difference so far.

OK, Update, should be week 5 day 1 (to early to think straight ) Tarryn got a FIM.. hope I hit the right spots.. like usual ^^ Had 2 load shedding sessions yesterday, one today. 16-18.30 Sisa got a close shave, will try a mainlining.. quick one And I found out why I have no video.. the cams OS crashed and stayed on record mode.. without recording. Had 3 empty files on the cam and gave me a face palm, when I figured out why the cam says empty battery, even it hangs on power 24/7. Took the battery out for a cold boot and the cam is working again. Is a first it did that..

I don't mind.. if easier for final judging, please do so. Back from Eskom outage

Eskom steals 5 hours growing time.. is a word I can put them in the battery backup mother tent. But how many out there have that? I run the videos also with the point to prove.. I am sticking to the rules my plants run 100% indoor with the Eskom exception. In other countries.. you don't have power outages during grow competitions, or at all . Might take those exceptional situations into account.. 5 hours load shedding plus the dark time in the wrong spot.. you can't simply change the dark time to a totally different time window.. that confuses the plant as much as not getting enough. Not good with the short grow time we have anyhow. Don't get me wrong, not complaining hehehe mother tent it is We Germans love to stick to rules.. strange thing hehehe

4 June Update Had 2 load shedding sessions. 2-4.30 they were dark anyhow, 10-12.30 I put them outside. Today 10-12.30 I put them outside, if sunny and 18-20.30 they go battery backup mother tent ^^ Just got repotted yesterday, so no feeding. Had issues with the video.. if I still can get things working.. I post it, if not, tomorrow next one.
  11. Is a way better solution for what you want to do. Clear from my side

Documenting every step is actually quite a mission As the pots got bigger... remembered that I have to set the light new too. Distance to the canape is 61cm (288 QB 3000k 660nm, all 4 used in the tent) Tarryn Sisa
  13. I understand that he wants more weed per seed.. ergo.. he drops a seed, raises the plant, turns her into 9 cuttings and veges them again to put later into flower.

I don't want them to waste energy on branches I remove anyhow ^^ But yes, I actually wanted to just cut the new grown branches.. next snip will be the main.. thinking when to do it... might just be a spontaneous action I still have 3 weeks veg.. I might go full mainlining on Sisa. No risk, no fun
  16. Harvest in total more, yes.. but time you used to get to that harvest is a lot longer. Raising the mother, then take 9 clones and finish those clones.. takes a few weeks on top of the seed grown plant. If you want to increase harvest, learn the strain you want to grow on regular interval. It isn't to difficult to reach over 2g/watt even with LED lights. You just need to learn what the plants like and what they hate. If you do not care about phenos, get Regular seeds, make your own seeds, feminize them.. and drop 9 each time to fill your tent. That is the fastest way to produce loads with one tent.

Day 6 of week 4 Update Nothing, no changes Video 2 - 3 June
  18. due to the grow behavior of clones, you need to LST or HST each plant or harvest will not be good. Cloning hassle only makes sense with pheno hunted strains... keep what you like, dump the rest. Otherwise, seeds you can go to vacation.. mother tent needs attention.
  19. If i would have the space... would more then welcome to finish those beauties. First day 12/12 double size in 2 weeks, yep, they need space Just stunning... cant look enough on the middle pic. 4 in a 1.2x1.2 and should be full
  20. The Master shows the way.... sexy shit, bru! But why flower outside? So little sun, indoor you get best idea how well each develops buds. I could only judge the gelatos indoor. The winner in potency, taste and bud size only showed indoor how different she really is.

2nd June Update Day 5 of week 4 Got snipped as mentioned yesterday and got feed.. still same Fish-Mix/Blue Heaven (1/2ml per liter mix) Video 1-2 June
  22. Cons are the extra gear you need and need the space for it too. The mother plant will always need 18/6 light. You can keep them in your veg tent, bit to much light for a mother tent, but works. And you need a seperate flower tent to flower the clones. Best work 3 tents for a cloning setup. Mother, veg and flower tent. Then i would pheno hunt the seeds first, you should pheno hunt with regular seeds, not feminized. Anything changing the genetics is not welcomed when you hunt. Running a mother tent, you could calculate the Eskom cost each month to buy seeds. So is cloning cheaper... i wouldnt say so and makes only sense, if you pheno hunt your strains to keep... otherwise.. i would stick to seeds... grow them when you want.
  23. Looks very much like potassium deficiency.
  24. 80% humidity.. if you put a small little electric heater in that tent and raise the temp, the humidity level will drop very quick. Vent less the tent but keep the inside fans on max to mix the air well. Temperature is the easiest way to reduce humidity. I only add the dehumidifier when it is already hot.. it cools and dehumidifies in one go. Now, with 18.5 degrees.. little 400 watt temp regulated wall plug heater would take PM out of your good night dreams You get those at Takealot.. or where ever you find them.. cheap and 400 watt isn't 1200 watt my dehumidifier leeches out of the wall At 22 degrees, you should already be below 60% humidity.. the plants also enjoy the extra heat.
  25. Reusing soil you had on flower before... can be problematic. If you did a flush, less stress, if you didnt flush at all and used nutes till the end.. that mix is hot like hell Dont used that soil as seed starter... even would suggest to use it for repotting only once you go flower. And stick to water only the first two weeks. You dont know what NPK ratio is in that soil. Expect to run into issues. Best would be to flush the soil before you use it and add a bit more perlite to the mix. Easier to flush if you need to flush again. BioBizz Bloom should be back on the shelves soon... dont look to far for options.
