did you fertilize the plants you had on that bank? And if yes, you used flower nutes last?

To much chlorine is not good... using chlorinated water from the tap, is not of benefit for your micro organisms in the pot. Doesnt mean you cant grow in tap water... but chlorine toxicity is possible on cannabis plants. Chorine is a micronutrient, needs veeeery little to keep a plan happy. If you are bound to tap water... use a waterfilter with a charcoal filter, good for you too, shouldnt disturb your micro life in the pot. Overwatering with untreated tap water can disturb your pot very much and add time till the plant swings back.

If you let the plant to long in the hot mix, she will suffer more. If you can exclude overwatering, flush it asap. Forgot... add more perlite to your soil mix, at least 20% more. Helps airing the roots.

Did my first snips ^^, 6 to be correct. Removed both Cotyledons and the leaves and branches of the first 2 nodes. You see it in the video tomorrow ^^ not sure we count the snips on the Coty's.. they were yellowed anyhow 4 snips..

Don't you want to re-pot those?? Are a bit big for the cup size you use.

If the soil comes from your compost heap.. is to hot to add 2ml fish mix. The soil looks not really to wet.. but what I see is the wet version.. not the dry version, correct? If that is your dry version.. go more dry before you feed. If you can exclude overwatering, then I would say that is a N burn. Let 60 liters of clear water run through that pot.. raise it, so the water can easy exit.. then get as much water out of the pot, the fast lifting game ^^ and let it rest and dry up. No Fish-Mix at all.. first feed after the flush I would go 1ml Grow.. bring some sugar to the micro organisms and no need to go heavy on N right away again. If the plants new growth is getting better in color, give another 1ml Grow, then swap back to 1ml Fish Mix. If you compare Fish Mix to Seagro.. that is like comparing a Battle Tank with a kiddy toy pistol. I would go heavy overwatering with what I see... but you have to exclude that. Or is a combo.. the plants went into lockout and you went on feeding the normal way.. what will result in overwatering issues to the nutrition issue.

Day 4 of week 4.. the First June 2021 Update Got nothing, pot still wet from the flooding from yesterday Had load shedding.. so there is a little jump, I didn't move the cam with the plants into the mother tent, running on battery backup.

There is a nasty habit to sell grow lights with the wrong diodes declared. They do not use IM301, they use the old version IM281. You can easy spot it on the shape of the diode. The IM301 is a SMD3030 chip class.. what means the diodes are 3.0x3.0 mm in shape.. perfect square. The IM281 are SMD2835 chip class and are 2.8x3.5 mm in shape... check what you get or got. Doesn't matter if IM301 B or H, both same chip class. Not perfect square.. send back and ask for your money back. If they want to sell a IM281 setup.. I would not buy that.. go for the more efficient newer diodes.

And the Pineapple I put a screen over... 10 days after the last pic from the 21 May Is wet, saw a little whitish spot.. Serenade spray. Rest looks good. Light just went out when I was finished with the plants in the flower tent ^^ Will do the same screen setup on the competition plants

Yes, agree.. I kept them rather on the dry side.. curious how the roots will look like. Leaves need to reach the outside of the pot before I re-pot.

Nooo stress ^^ end result counts Week 3 Day 4 Update I made the pot wet, top to bottom today. Sill same feeding (1ml Fish Mix/2ml Bio Heaven per liter mix) Video 30 - 31 May

You can't compare my QBs to MH HID lights.. OK, you can, but grow wise my QBs lose.. they win by energy consumption So far I am happy for 3 weeks old plants. They get a re-pot soon.. going into a 10L pot. I only add Epsom as soon as I see a Mg issue. I very much feel the Eskom price hike on my monthly bill. But they had their first 7 finger done end week 3.. wouldn't call it slow

I have to watch the other one too? working though this one.. thanks for indicating the 8.33 mark, but penetration means just.. not absorbed by the leaf. I am kinda sure the good man understands that. Means, red and blue get very fast absorbed and USED by the plant.. that is why it disappears green nearly goes through.. and the far red will disappear in flower material also faster... leaves don't need the far red in flower.. the flowers do I enjoyed more timestamp 11.00 ^^ that is for the HID guys out there. I didn't thought LED is that much more efficient compared to HPS. I grow trees without using green at all.. and I don't grow tomatoes ^^ more busy with crypto at the moment hehehe

Funny test.. would have loved to see what plants do under just green light.. They did it with Blue and Red.. as 100%.. not sure what they proved. At the end is a might.. not a clear.. it does. The result of that report .. they used tomato plants.. would mean.. screw blue ^^ as hey.. pure red grows fastest even for seedlings? Dang, why is my mother tent blue? What your Dr tells.. is in pure contrary of every grower I know.. including myself Only reason I use full spectrum light these days is because the diodes became more efficient and beside less stress on your eyes, you need white light to actually judge your plants health.. at least I do ^^ I grow very happy with a Blurple. But 100% red wins in germ, mentioned nothing for Veg.. they should have let the plants finish and not just post after Germination.. that is very weird for a result. Contradicts a bit all I learned from growing. (Just read the article)

As long as you see dark soil, there is no reason to water at all As you want a dry cycle, also for the youngsters, how much you give is key.. doesn't really matter where moisture spreads the deeper you go in the pot.

That is the range over which the plants select the radiation they want to use... Green is part of that range, but not used by the plant for photosynthesis, they reflect that frequency. LUX/Lumens are units we use for our eye sight. The light for plants gets measured in PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation), what the plant can actually use. Green light on a LUX meter will give you a reading.. on a Quantum Flux meter you get hardly anything.

Any of those sport cameras will do the trick.. they all have time laps. I use a Garmin Pro Elite.. over 5 years old ^^ Just does FullHD.. but the battery holds for 4+ hours, what I like. I will add a second for the top View ^^

Gas burners are used very often.. other source is dry ice. But the big bottle tanks are in general the way to go.. if you run a CO2 setup.. you also care about how easy you swap your tanks. Do a calculation of your sugar consumption. I got to the point where I decided to leave CO2 totally out for home growing, to much hassle over all. As soon as you use CO2, you need to increase your light.. what makes more heat.. needs more AC.. commercial yes.. but just not worth the effort for the usual home grower.

Can't do that.. by GF would plunder the tent each day.. for the avos

Keep in mind.. when the video ends, they go dark in the single day vids ^^ you see how they prepare to go dark. plants are cool... I made the first long video.. cut all single days I had into the first 3 weeks. Also gave it a speed up (again 3x)^^ Youtube censors it.. tried to change.. but is fun to watch them wiggle

Good Morning and Welcome to the last day of Week 3 No feeding, but I lowered the light again a bit ^^ I leave it here for now. Running on 561-570 PAR Picture hit a bit the low reading ^^ Distance is now 60cm Distance issue is nice visible here.. is very hard to hang the correct distance in a multi lamp setup. The QB would be way lower, if only one would be active inside the tent. I think is the reason why my readings for flower were so much off. Even I tested them single in a empty tent. Depending on light configuration 600 Watt lights have very different hanging distances. And the LUX meters I tested on my phone had up to 20% different results.. then you can also just guess. 100cm hanging distance or 80cm.. is a word. Video 27 - 28 May
