Temp/humidity/money wise. Flower tent is up 10pm till 10am, but is the coldest time of the day, or in that range and i can work a few hours in it. This really sucks as i work at night or morning, during the day is dark. But with the high humidity we have in CT right now. I stay below 62% at all time in the flower tent... that is my mayor consern at the moment. The veg/germination tent i just keep warm, need the sun and the tents to keep temp up and humidity low during day. The flower tent runs on 24 degrees, no AC on anymore, pure ventilation controlled. Just after the flower switches off and the time from sun down to flower switching on, still need the dehumidifier, same cost as the lights, hate that. Not to happy with my timer... i blame the weather and me being not as wealthy as i would like to be i need to insulate the flat. Will all change anyhow as soon as the solar system is up... other story

^^ I have access to a Quantum Flux Meter At 100% your TS3 reaches 500 micromol PAR light at 71cm distance... your 30cm at 75% is to much for your plants. If I would have a dimmer, I would test it.. but have none, so is also only a guess. go 45cm on 75% and see if your Veg plants grow faster, would be my suggestion. Or punch it up to max and hang 70cm above... that number fits

Easy answer. Some you leave, some you move, some you take away As soon as you reach flowering stage where you get substance on the bud, binding down is no longer needed. You might still prefer to move em to a side... but once they are tied for some time, they stick to that shape rather well. Training you get better with experience.

And as I work a lot more anyhow in the grow area, decided to start the compare project of Bio Heaven from BioBizz Vs Amino Booster from Canna Pro I take 4 clones from the same plant... Gelato. Selected 2 pairs of the same grow structure and repotted them in 10 liter pots. Plants were on 1ml Fish/Grow before. Go 12/12 today and got the same feeding except one is on Bio Heaven (2 to 6ml per liter dosage) other on Amino Boost (2-4ml per 10 liter). Using their numbers. I started with 1ml Grow, 2ml Bloom / liter as base and added 2ml per liter Bio Heaven or 2ml per 10 liter Animo Boost. (I thought you start with 1ml/l.. BioBizz suggest to start it with Root Juice first week.. 2ml/l.. greed without a limit, I hope Amino Boost gets close.. close would be fine to already swap)

I think he is about spot on 450 watts on a 1.2x1.2, sweet.. no sure about the 30cm at 75%.. those TS3 pack a punch, got 2 myself. Wanted to read how much distance is 500 micromol on full power.. but they just went dark.. tomorrow. and the bar light for the 1.5x1.5 is also in the right area.. all done correct and a good yielding strain, should easy reach 2g/watt. Lower is not really recommendable and higher ruins your gram per watt calculation. I reached 2.34g/watt with TS3s as flower lights. Nice setup! Humidity readings I have right now. Room Humidity And the tent Ventilation and temperature can reduce humidity rather harsh. No dehumidifier running right now.. No need ^^

i have no dimmer. they run 100% .. is the veg tent.. the light doesn't goes to waste reason.. 96cm distance. 250 micromol isn't much but for germination it hovers around the sweet spot. should also add.. 2 boards on one driver.. the other board is a lot lower I let them always run 100%. Have the Quantum Flux over as the buddy isn't growing right now and not in the mood to start.. last Gelato harvest will still hold a bit ^^ So I grabbed the thingy. Usually I have my numbers for each light and stage.. and use the measuring tape.

And as they see the light, I post the first light setup. The pots are NOT under the light directly, just beside the light. Light is a 288 QB running on 118 watts, 301H 3000k 660nm Light distance is 96cm over the pot. Measured under the dome.

Break through.. first 2 are coming to see the light and the camera gets something to record. 44 hours and 40 minutes after planting the popped seed, third had a 12 hours delay.

Robust plants.. bud size and frosting.. nothing to complain about. Super smooth smoke even after 2 weeks of curing. Smaller version clone, week to go, is on flush ^^ flower tent emptying out.. is nice to have space and move inside the tent. Weather.. other issue.. we have super wet in the CT area right now. Tent is at 22.3 degrees and 60% humidity (13.17).. dehumidifier running.. I get the idea to start selling distilled water, i get a lot each day At least it drops to 53% when the lights go on and the dehumidifier gets a rest. Weather change would be nice ^^ but at least no stress to stay below 26 degrees.

Watering is no easy task... you see how often people overwater. Giving the task to a machine... ehhh will run.. but if you dont check each day anyhow, troubles will come up. So why not just let the pump run 24/7? Way easier to predict what will happen.

i use a hunter system in the garden... have 2 free circuits but never ever thought into using it for my ladies. I would ONLY use it, if it measures the moisture content of each pot and waters accordingly, not lifting those bastards for nothing each day . Other option would be to have the pots on a electronic scale and feed accordingly. But before i would go such a way... i go hydro.

For a 2.4x1.2 i would use 2 x 150mm inliners.. one in, one out.

I use td 500 and very happy with those... 3100 a piece, very silent, 3 speed setups (added later: on medium it draws 41 watts) Addon I still have 3 150mm metal inliners.. R800 a piece, scratch free ran for 6 months. If somebody is interested, please send me a private message.

@ThricomeInstituteStudent The first thing i do when the pistils dry up, i stop with the top max... flowering stimulator. @PsyCLown posted the picture... this is how you harvest... thricomes as preferred indicator. Sometimes the plant has other ideas, might have been stunned during flower for to long, and just dies on you. Forces you to harvest. Magnifiers, photo camera with a macro lense, electronic microscope,... at one stage we all take a closer look and decide. The better you know a strain, the less often you have to check it. And sugar leaves dont count... harvest you have to learn and be patient. Look and judge what the thricomes tell you. Early, energizer, late, relaxer... and dont worry, i harvest for over 30 years and still have to force myself to wait.
