  1. No difference between autos and photos to my knowing. 3 weeks... give it more time
  2. Tried to take the pic with your phone side ways?
  3. Did you properly dry your pollen and mix with flower? If the pollen was wet, is a dead sentence in the freezer.
  4. I run into so many people "growing" indoor and hardly get over 30g a plant... that is more indoor hibernating they do nothing wrong just use the wrong light or simply to weak. You change that factor and suddenly they grow awesome dense buds. Light has more importance compared to fertilizer.. is my opinion. Instead of using a "cheap" light, put the money you waste on Eskom into a jar and wait till the jar has enough for the right gear.. is a total win/win at the end, plants more happy.. you more happy. If you have no buddy helping you to setup your first indoor system, you will not get around reading for a few weeks. Isn't as expensive as most think.. just do it right or it is a barrel with no bottom money wise.
  5. In my point of view you approach the topic from the wrong angle. To many people wasting resources and sell crap, that needs to stop... is more my approach There are the right ways to do something and the rest is wrong. If you produce grow lights, but not even invest in a lousy 10k quantum flux meter, what is all to provide the needed information, then you do not really care what you sell and just look for a fast bug. is like a seed bank storing their beans in desk drawers and not climatized cabinets... or you design and produce engines without a dyno to check what kw your product has. A grow light comes with distance to hang... germ, veg and flower... point. Then you know how to use your light. Light is one of the most essential inputs you give at indoor growing, to much or to little is not good for your plants... if that wouldnt matter, wouldnt care if light producers hand over those numbers or not, but they matter, so they belong to each grow light... just advertise "home made light" if you dont give about and just sell some stuff. But then... nobody would buy. Half finished product, that is what a grow light with not accurate numbers is.
  6. Contact the shop, which sold you the light... is not a grow light, if you don't get those numbers.. is just something that produces light ^^ Grow lights you get INSTRUCTIONS with it, how to use it, or is just not a grow light.. or anything can be a grow light. If somebody sells lights without those numbers.. STAY AWAY!
  7. hang some sticky fly traps around the plants to reduce the reproduction too... not to difficult to get rid of those. Check with some proper magnifiers, what is going on with those spots. Can be pests to calcium issues.
  8. You got no hanging instructions from light it up? Contact them and ask... they should add that to the package, very essential information and belongs to each light sold. If they dont tell you, let me know and i build quick a setup and measure it for you. Dont buy lamps without the distances provided to hang them... is like buying a car without odometer.. turns the object into junk, if you cant use it how you should. Driving without knowing how fast you are... will get expensive over time. Hanging distances for germination, vegetative and flower are part of a good light.. a light without those information is a bit useless....
  9. marijuanaseeds.co.za is easy to order from, good selection and when they say on stock, the seeds are on stock
  10. You grow so great material... as soon as you perfect your climate, you should get to the next quality level. Nice job, keep it up!
  11. Light wise you dont have to worry at all with autos. You can put em on a timer and what ever Eskom does, Eskom can do (PM way more a danger during load shedding). They are in no way photo period dependant. Use the power you saved for cooling and your terpenes say thank you when you smoke the weed.
  12. If the top bud gets a bit more... doesnt matter much. Just cant use the extra light. But the lower levels enjoy a bit more. I measure on the canape... not the top cola. With HID systems you worry heat and bleaching, LED not really. Good ventilation will keep the buds close to the light cool. With autos, doesnt matter what Escom does. 24/0 is a bit of a waste. Even autos enjoy a exhale phase.. they dont grow during that time, light or not. 18/6 or 20/4 works best in my experience. Only worries you have with autos during Eskom outage is your ventilation stopping and humidity going up. Even Eskom would go lv6... autos wouldnt get confused light wise. But as i ran 24/0 grows too... cant tell people not to do that. i cant say i measured more yield on 24/0
  13. Last strains you listed were photos... autos??
  14. 800 micromol are about the smalest amount to give them during flower... 400 is for veg even low. Potency will suffer with that little light. 400 micromol during flower will produce fluff buds... you need more light, bro go max on the dimmer and see how much more you get. As long as your buds dont bleach You took the pic after dark time? Leaves look a bit droopy.
  15. In the process ordering a system. 12 x 410 watt pv panels (25 years warranty) 1 x hybrid inverter (15 years warranty) 1x 10kw 48v lithium ion bank (10 years warranty) 1x cable set 100m plus plugs and DC breaker 1x set roof mounts for 12 pv panels 5k$, shipping 180$... about R75k plus customs. I give noise once here and installed. Is a lot cheaper on direct order from China. Should be paid back in 5 years.. so would have 5 years warranty extra on the battery bank... just that little advantage made me order. So soon no more atomic weed... grown by the sun green weed
  16. I think I try ACDC next time I pass to drive to the testing shop.. I see your point for a Aquarium shop... I check that option Thanks!
  17. Kill your plants.. not sure.. piss off.. yes. Over 1100ppm CO2 they do not like that anymore. Question is.. how long you need to kill the pest i like radical solutions.. so a clear from my side. Just try to avoid killing yourself in the process. If you should get the idea to use a fire extinguisher.. please.. make a video
  18. Yes, FF green bag and BioBizz... I have some Plagron shipping ^^ and want to test that.. just for fun. No supplier local.. I wouldn't wanna depend on Post Office. That is rather simple.. as I like to feed rather more then less. I watch the tips of the leaves. They tell me when to go water but at the end is learning a strain.. not learning to grow. You can do a dialed in grow on your first run of a new strain you test.. but that is rather unlikely. In general you need a few to get all the "special" parts of the strain. But my general routine is daily. I lift each pot to know who needs water. If I have the same strains in a tray, I usually just lift the most thirsty and not so thirsty. That tells me to mix a bucket or no. Tray feeding makes the feeding simple.. not helping to really get a perfect result. If you aim for the best, you have to give each plant a few seconds of your time a day. The Gelato I played with now, has its own tricky part.. can't over feed them or they revolt. So cut down 25% nutes on those an had a very smooth sail. never gave 4ml of anything.. beside the flowering stimulators As I feed each time i water, I expect more to run into over feeding issues, then under feeding. So the first change is always pure water. That deals with the over feeding symptoms for your feeding solution. Next 2 you can run into is Mg and Ca deficiency... you find pictures on the web.. Ca can also relate to white dots forming on the leaves.. not as easy to find, so I add it. Internet pictures should be your first go to. Or make some close ups and post here.. if in doubt. Not often you run into Fe issues.. fresh soil, you never ever should. Mg comes up most, if not one of your NPK culprits. Ca behind.. Fe.. you really have to use strange stuff Once you grew a strain for a few times, you will actually learn yourself what to do and what they dislike. Is the reason I run grow sheets.. to know where to look, if I run into troubles. Once I am happy with my result.. I also don't run a grow sheet anymore on that strain and just use the information i learned before.. I am just a amateur at the end and have fun with what I am doing. When you start racing a car.. you don't hop in and after 2 laps you challenge a F1 Pro. You do laps and improve, the more you do on the same track, the better you become. The more tracks you drive, the better you get on those tracks. And dude.. you will crash some cars, if you want to become a professional racing driver Experience helps... after a few hundred plants.. thank god, some mistakes I learned to avoid My first go to is always the internet picture section.. you know how your issue looks like.. search and trust your eyes. On the way you learn a lot more as just how to solve your issue. You read and judge if it just makes sense.. common sense is all you need growing weed. Indoor you can mess up a lot more as outdoor.. strange but true Crap light.. crap results. Crap ventilation.. crap results. Crap climate.. crap results. Indoor you have to check a lot more factors then outdoor... so you just add those to the indoor checklist for the strain
  19. Back from testing.. finally have the answers to clean up the tent.. still have to go there for 2 more tests. Had three concentrates with me and after the second I skipped the third.. 35% THC and 15% CBD, about the same in the first two.. not what I look for. So... beware the CBD Depo.. they sell what fits. Charlottes Web should hover around 1% THC.. wasted time.. haaaaaaate that. The outdoor Gelato was measured at 17%.. happy with that result. The indoor caused problems.. machine gave a error code for to wet.. what is strange.. but I go back there tomorrow or Thursday with some 'dry' buds very curious what the indoor samples will say.. used a different biobizz setup on 2 trays. The new setup already yields 15-20% better.. if more potent too, I have to redo my feeding tables Also.. new top spot is a wedding cake with 20.7%.. not mine.. hehehe just as info.
  20. blue light.. not UV ^^ just BLUUUUUUUE just let me be hehehe depressed anyhow the Charlotte's Web i grew for 2 epilepsy patience.. are simply said fake.
  21. And some indoor pictures.. happy plants. I start to worry about a plant the moment she stops "praying". Then I run my mental checklist and start to figure out what is making her a "tummy ache". And I go back to normal mode, when the patient is back to praying. Pineapple just got repotted into 10L, next is 22, then 40 final. 22L (Velcro) and 40L (no Velcro) are fabric pots. Gelato clones in different stages Enough air moving over the plant, LED doesn't burn, even very close. Not sure I make 20cm here, never had bleaching
  22. I grew psy active shrooms in a cupboard with a friend once. As long as you work sterile, isn't that difficult... counts for a cupboard hehehe your project looks a bit more complex. The result was just way to strong to my liking. Last time we had our shrooms was on a outdoor techno party. 2 had to vomit like on mescaline and Lorena, friend, more or less passed out. She said was awesome.. but I trashed those shrooms after the party right away Dosing those bastards was way to hard.. and I wasn't in the mood to play genie pig Very curious to see how your project will go
  23. Yup, LED I found too.. I look for CFL blue tubes.
  24. not sure what i bought... was crap for sure
