Yep, just bind to the light. Point in the right direction. Keep em happy, they will make you happy

LST to get a even canape... rest I would let them do what they are in the mood to do

We just had a bad weather front.. did you got rain? And yes, you get PM issues more outside as inside.. as inside you can fight it. Outside you endure the mercy of mother nature. PM spores are everywhere.. they just wait for the right conditions to go berserk. Once you have it... not as easy to get rid of it again. And if you grow indoor beside, you will carry more spores inside when handling your infected ladies. I am that honest.. I would dump those and save the fertilizer for a clean batch. Just started to flower... you lost 4 weeks.. bummer.. and spray regular with copper soap during veg.. if you expect more issues. copper soap just not during flower.. ruins the taste. And if you really battle with PM, Serenade Garden Disease Control. Import you a bottle.. better 2 ^^ just to have it on stock, when you should need it.
-
Very far from harvest ^^ but as you flower.. you can't go to brutal or your taste will suffer a lot... going direction compost heap. First I would do a radical defoil... every leaf with a trace of PM has to go. Then.. you can spray a bit... recommendations from the guys before work.. I add Bicarb of Soda as a spray, 2g per liter. Soak as good as you can, spray every 3 days till you see a result. I honestly would throw the towel and restart.. PM in your buds is the last you want to smoke. You still can bud wash, but that also depends how good you get rid of the PM now till harvest. If you have over 68% humidity.. you will run into PM issues. Not sure where in CT you sit, I am Blouberg side and humidity was sweet till now. If you would have Serenade.. one proper spray and should be fine. Just keep the plants in a environment with humidity under 60%! You will lose if you can't handle the humidity... Flowering plants should be kept at 45-55% anyhow.. or taste and potency will suffer.

Vote and win a pack of Barney's Farms VIOLATOR KUSH 5 seeds

I think it was @oldsandals, posting a series of stunning african genetics (sooooooo sexy!). Ghana, Malawi, Morocco, SA,... there is more to work with as most think. Durban Poison is one of the most decorated landraces... they wanted to get more yield, adding the OG Kush... and ended winning the cup.. , i think, 6 times in a row? Building up a african genetic exchange and come up with a African cup winner... more my direction. Not a easy task, but could be fun and rewarding. SA is leading Africa... at least how i see it. And with the laws changing in favor to grow, more ambitions perhaps? but if we find a coder in the mood to do it, why not think a bit further? Developping from a cannabis forum to a more african social media plattform or even thinking into getting a breeding licence as a 420SA team. Nothing against american genetics... love em.. all my tents are full with em right now. the climate adaptation isnt the issue indoors... where you grow the real potent stuff at least my indoor beats my outdoor efforts. And to be honest... i select never by climate suggestion... i wanna grow it, i just order and set my indoor climate different. I try to stay as uncomplicated as i can Perhaps also out of my mind.. lockdown does stupid stuff to my inner mental balance -

we talk exclusive SA genetics from the beginning... african landrace mothers only? If you used euro/american genetics to create something, isnt really SA, or? Not sure what would be special on such a listing... enter it in seedfinder, if worthy... where we get to the point totemic wrote... to much junk gets entered these days. No history, no big effort, just create a entry. I stopped using it... and just follow my gut feel these days. I dont want to spoil other peoples fun, but i think local genetics, reputated ones, can cost a little more as they do now. Is quite some work behind in a game you not always end with a result and wasted 4 months time, just to start over again. Is there a local cannabis breeder contest? winning those usually helps.. -

The legal private home growing definitely has already improved the quality of information you get. Just that fact will improve the quality of the weed produced in SA. People are not scared anymore to show. I can't actually say that I know the local breeder scene.. I haven't tried local.. yet. As Totemic plays with Gelato.. he is on my personal list on top spot.. and I will try his genes 100% once I have my Gelato hunt done, I am on the same trip he is.. I need to get a better overview of what is out there. To many names people talk about and I never even tried. I will go on with my project to make the Swazi Gold Auto.. but my focus is back to pheno hunting for this year. Best tasting Gelato mother and most potent.. then I might check into G27/G28. Friend starts a pheno hunt for wedding cake now.. and I get a Exodus Cheese clone from a Russian friend When I am done with my Gelato hunt, I will be highly interested to trade with others.. if there is interest. Just ask back end of the year I would like another option on your Poll ^^ Breeder has a good reputation. Before I order, I read quite a bit first. Doesn't has to be a grow report.. but if I find mostly recommendations to try it. I order. Price is secondary.. tests.. depends more on your own growing how potent the bud will end buying 31% weed and reaching 12... doesn't mean the beans where bad I think SA will do good.. awesome summers.. nice gentle winters.. if they would legalize it.. businesses would explode.. even I would help making it explode -
When you change the filter, spray the old cloth with hair spray before you take it off
-
Has a nice shadow profile Clones go 12/12 on Sundayy Gelato done in a few days, will get them tested and curious if i pass the 20% as i hope i will. So far happy with the current state.

That is all I need to not get any pollen inside my tent. The cloth is CE approved and made to let air and light pass. You have to replace it all 6-8 weeks during pollen flight time. Rest I take the cloth off.. never have seeds in my indoor weed otherwise.
-
My dad send them to me from Germany. I just use a chlorine bucket, where I cut out the lid and use the twist close to fixate the cloth. Easy to put new cloth in ^^ How I have it placed, just over the ground for coolest air. and how the cloth is in the cut out lid, just twist the lid to fixate the cloth. Price is something like 15 Euro (300 Rand (easy calculation)^^) for 3 sheets of 1.30 x 1.50.. German Window sizes. Made especially to filter out plant pollen. People with pollen allergies put them in their windows. With one pack I can exchange my buckets quite a few times.

new light 120w Quantum board + Mars Hydro 48 reflector
Prom replied to Spaidan's topic in LED Lighting
he runs his lights on a dimmer... and just 2 boards having the loss. Same lamp, looks like same production line. The other boards are fine, hardly any loss. Is the lamp i hate most, has the biggest cooler on, one huge plate and the boards connected to it. I think he paid 18k for it.- 22 replies

We do DIY... how it fits best. Would love to build a proper lab environment for a grow room but... hehehe i scratch together money to replace my inliners to more silent ones. 10k down the drain... very far away from how i really would like it to be. I add a interesting one. Friend measured his QBs with the quantum flux meter... he has after 3 grows done, boards losing 10% of strenght. Is a bit much to my liking for 50k hours diodes.... are the B version diodes.- 22 replies

I just pull out the power plug and lift em out. I couldnt figure out a faster and more simple way... went with it. If i would run the drivers outside, i would select the floor... like my battery charger is flat on the tiles, coldest spot in the room. If you run your driver at the hottest area, you will always run warmer and with more resistance. Take the drivers down to the ground, coolest spot keeps them coolest possible, what means most effìcient at least that would be my logic. At one spot, people do it as they prefer and like. As long as the result is to your liking... many ways lead to Rome And i would say to @OrganicGrower_ZA, go with Totemics version... very sexy i fiddle with 7 different lamps for 3 different tent sizes, mobility helps me most.- 22 replies

outside doesn't work with my setup. I have 2 QBs on one driver, the other is easy to hang as you wish and at what angle. The driver lamp is set to more or less point down. Both QB's hang on a 1.2m top hanger I can easy lift out and use in a different tent. Depending how many plants I have inside, I hang more light in or take out. If the driver would be outside, I would have to disconnect wires. Now I just lift them out and in as I like. But yeah, if the light would be fix for a tent.. I would do the power supplies outside.. just because it looks nicer too Should add.. all my tents have 1.2 hanging distance, so all my lamps work in all my tents.- 22 replies

100 watt for 0.8x0.8 isn't much. Depends a bit how full your tent was. If you plan to use the full area, use both lamps. I use 440 watt on a 1x1 area.. friend prefers his 600 watts (His plants get in general taller). See no problem to mix.. you might want to add another 120 QB, but for now, worth a test run, just a little less as what I use. When you add light, you add heat.. just check that your ventilation also gets a upgrade. Those blurple's produce very little heat, the QB's will add a bit more. You also do not want to place the driver on your QB.. hang the driver up separate or put spacers in between, point a fan on it, the Mars didn't need that, the QB does like air flow to keep it hand warm. Have fun, run a diary..- 22 replies

Clones are exploding... have enough to select from New Gelato doing much better i screwed up the last batch so bad And some more photos to pheno hunt

I would say yes, a 1x1 isn't small. You should exchange the air about 6 times a minute.. and with proper ventilation, your chance to run into PM is way lower. Just check your dark times when the air cools down and releases the stored moisture. When the lamps are on, you fight usually more with temperature. You might want fans you can change the speed and just let em run on half. Uses about same energy with two, but you have a decent flow in and out. My IN side, i use both air streams to vent the plants, one high, directable, one low entry. Both have HEPA filters on the intake. 2 OUT. One with carbon filter goes outside the flat, the other goes to the climat room to get cooked again.

Tina and a Guitar was 16 when she played this.. if somebody likes to play, will enjoy this, if not already knows it

I live with China parts and a tupperware box 2 ventilation setup, one in, one out for each. The box handles 4 6inch inliners. Tent was dark when i took the picture.. but still easy to read. Humidity handling inside the tent. Temp i cook outside the tent. The humidity handling inside is only to not run into PM issues. I avoid anything over 60% during flower on the inside.

Defoiling you do for a reason. In general to open the flowers better to the sun and bring more air to the plant, some strains get VERY leafy. When your plant grows as nice and open as yours, see zero reason to actually do a defoiling. Go on with what you do and remove the leaves the plants give up them self. Rest, let them be very nice job till now!
