CalMag is a double bladed substance. It should more run as NITRATECalMag. It packs a very heavy N punch, adjust your feeding accordingly. I would only use CalMag for Calcium issues as emergency remedy.. use Epsom for Magnesium hassle, way saver to use.

I played with co2 generators. Gas, yeast and dry ice... my final result was rather simple. If you do not have a closed environment, where you cook your climate and have all sorted from air intake humidity and temp control plus gas sensors for venting, you just waste money over all. I think i had to vent way to much due to moisture. In a dry environment, makes more sense... in any case you have to run a big ass AC. I PAR my light and got bigger plants... before you invest into a co2 generator.. get a quantum flux meter. There you get bigger plants for sure.

Fish mix during veg. Pre you bring Grow in.. but best is to swap grow and fish with each feeding further on. If you get yellow tips, stick to grow. Grow is 75% Fish Mix and 25% molasses. -
Good Morning ^^ late answer.. Thursday we play poker and smoke a lot You can skip the nutes with soil as a beginner. Why stress yourself.. just learn the plant, works without fertilizer. Starting to grow as a beginner.. get a quality bean (at least you will enjoy the smoke you produce), a bag of quality soil.. or 2, depending on pot size and just water it. Will still grow to a 2 meter tree in a good pot size. Can't grow easier than that..
-
You have to write, proper cannabis soil. The 25 rand bags from the nursery will not do the trick. Rest, i think soil is more foregiving and buffers best for a beginner. With good soil and a big ass pot, you can skip the fertilizer and get a result just adding water. Start in soil outdoor.. is my beginner tip As soon as you go indoor, is a different game anyhow. Fuck ups not just cost seeds and in what medium to grow is a bit a Aini Meni Muh selection. I started hydro, no ppm pens at the time, ph we used stripes. Pure chemical fertilizer, 3 part NPK. Worked and hydro grows fastest. Dont think anybody argues with that. I never did coco... but when you do hydro, there is no reason to go coco, at least not in my books. I always grew soil outdoor and enjoyed the ph free hassle. Now i even grow soil indoor. I made a sexy 4/4/4 biobizz mix in Jan and took my pen out just for fun... 12.something reading ph. I had to chuckle, pured it into the pot and went on as usual. Easiest over all is soil with rain water... kinda hard to mess up
-
Dont know anything you are using.. but the weak build.. plant looks starved or wrong ph. 150 watts more then enough, the 8 gorillas got around 180. As said, dont know any product you use... just guessing. If it wouldnt say... cannabis soil... i would say bad soil...

drying is removing all easy accessible leaves, cut the plant and hang her upside down in a room with about 55% humidity... and wait till the small branches crack on bend. The longer it needs to dry.. the better... with higher risks of mold. Is always a down side if it is dry before 5 days passed, you get a hay smell and taste. Post a pic with those dead leaves removed, might look a lot friendlier
-
Remove all the dry and yellow leaves asap. Has some color on those leaves? How cold did she got?

You have those damages all around your plants? For veg you are very much on the dry side. Put a saucer full of water in the tent and point a fan on it. 15% more humidity would be better. For flower 42% are sexy. 4 fans inside the tent... air movement is good! How big is the tent and what ventilation you use for the tent? -
I did put my outdoor germination stage and early veg plants on the roof. my ridgeback looooves weed. I dont mind when he eats the lower leaves once tall plants. But on the youngsters... is not even one bite and gone The fun story is how he got into weed was about 6 years ago, he was a bit over 1 year old. Had access to some really great pineapple express. I got me 20g and smoked about 1 joint a day... at least that was the idea. I left the bag outside on the table, went shopping. Friend was living in the granny flat at the time, when he came home, short after i left, he found to his surprise weed buds laying all around the pool area. Picked up what he found and put it on my table. When i came home, he intercepted me right away. Not that you think i took your stash, bru, found it like that by the pool. Jack, my dog, was hiding below the table.. they aways know when they caused kack below the table was also the ripped bag... and some more buds. We had a good giggle... took the scale out... with what i smoked, we looked very very good if we find mord buds... he ate about 9g. Hour later i found him stretched in the sun. No reaction what so ever. After 6 hours he made it to the kitchen, stayed there on the carpet for another 4 hours and started to move again. if you now think that he would avoid eating buds... nope... if i offer him one, he eats it. But he also never ever took a bag off the table anymore

Start fertilizing depending what the producer of the product tells you. They usually stay very much on the safe side. Always observe your plants, they tell you, if something isnt right. Not all strains react same to nutrition concentration. In general the breeders write a note to the strain, if it likes a lot or you better be careful. Always start slow, the plants grow exponentially fast. Depending to that you increase fertilizer amount and as they drink more and more, they consume more over time. With autos you have to watch when they go Pre, so you can change what you feed. Photos you swap the light duration and change the nutes feed, bit easier. Putting your plants outside to get more light, works. Every time i stick the quantum flux meter into the sun, last was around 1400 two weeks ago... i measure around 2200 mmol on a blue sky.. hehehe cant beat the sun. But comes with one issue... not all strains like to get moved. Most you can easy move once, twice during the flower cycle. But some really do not like to get moved daily. If you see that your plants dont really grow faster outside... or even stop. Leave them stationary... if they grow very nice.. your work will get rewarded.

Numbers always nice to have. Total flower material 397g, close shave dressed buds 302g... full jar for the press on dressing material Veg light 180 watt, Flower 269 watt Mars 144 Fan 80 watts... i count the 6 inch inliner.. those plants got a lot of air Light distance measured 250 mmol for germination, 500 veg, 1000 flower Plant was set as 8 to 10 weeks. I harvested end week 11 3 and end 12 the rest. Not 50/50 yet Test smoke was smooth and already tasty.. the usual fresh weed aftertaste. Soil: FF green bag 50% : 50% home made compost / Fertilizers: BioBizz (Root Juice, Fish Mix, Grow, Bloom, TopMax) Feeding table Week 1 ( starting timer when seeds hit the water inside the glass) 4ml root juice per liter Week 2 2ml Fish Mix per liter Week 3 3ml Fish Mix per liter Week 4 3ml Fish Mix or Grow in rotation, 2ml Bloom per liter Week 5 3ml Fish Mix or Grow, 3ml Bloom per liter Week 6 had yellow tips starting, reduced to 3ml grow, 2ml bloom per liter for one feed, next feed 4ml grow, 3ml bloom, 1ml TopMax (fish is heavy on N, reduced that) Week 7 4ml fish mix or grow(still rotating both), 4ml bloom, 2ml TopMax Week 8 4ml fish or grow, 4ml bloom, 3ml top max Week 9 4ml fish or grow, 4ml bloom, 4ml topmax (i stick to 4/4/4 til flush usually) Week 10 4ml fish or grow in rotation, 4ml bloom, 4ml topmax Week 11 4/4/4.. sorry lazy (the three small ones went water, and end week 11 dark, left the tent) Week 12 flush, pure water as demanded for 5 days, then dark for 2, cut, trimm leaves, hang to dry. Please do not use this feeding table as a beginner!!! As the plants were set by the breeder to 8 to 10 weeks, they could be ready in 8 weeks. I used my 8 week feeding table... it really takes no prisoner and at one stage i usually have to adapt to not run into trouble. But i am a bit old school, my brain works after the simple logic, the more i stuff into a turkey, the fatter it gets... those Gorillas handled the nuts rather well. The plants get to big for SOG (to much time waste growing), even they form a even canape.. to much waste of the lower plant. Autos dont form bud, if there is no light on the bud. So from the 100cm tall plant, 25cm are a bit of a waste to grow. Solution, more light, less cramped space. Should harvest better. With the 8 plants i didnt even reach 50g average. I expected 75cm plants.. my bad, one reached 120. Rest about same, the mentioned 100cm. First time is always a bit guessing, how big they get. And when the breeder say... 120 to 150 tall... i reached 75cm and still loved my harvest. Not as good as those guys but who cares if you love the result of the smoke. The measured light is a huge difference... i get 30 to 40% taller plants with the right mmol amount for each stage, have to get used to it. What would i change 6 plants in a 1.2x0.6 next time, to get 2 fans in, even 4 might do. Lower part should get more light and compensate quite a bit. Would LST the branches and cut the lowest 2 double nodes. I see those Royal Gorillas give 100g a plant. As you saw on the leaf structure, very very sativa heavy auto. So for not doing much, acceptable result. Nothing great, nothing bad. The weed, i think i will enjoy very much. I put a smoke test in a few weeks to finish this report. I add something about the weed. Royal Gorilla Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds It is a cross of Royal Gorilla and Royal Cookie... plus a cup winner. When i open a jar, you just know, that is some tasty s..t if you are into sativas, give it a go.

New Auto Grow (first attempt from seed to harvest)
Prom replied to Tee_Aitch_See's topic in Grow Diaries
The 1ml in fish mix and grow is confusing... the bio heaven they love to use a lot. Costs double of the top max. I started with biobizz when they had no table for FF soil and used the light mix table with FF soil. I have to check this FF table. Looks wierd to me. I use 400% of those recommendations on fish and grow. The amount of bio heaven, will cost the same as the others, fish, grow, bloom and topmax combined. Wierd table, bit confused right now and i never ever used bio heaven before... -
If you look for CBD plants. Try a Harlekin for pain specific or a Yumbold for insomnia. Both late harvests.

Autos, 10 liter is fine. Smaller plants, less space hungry

Plant some cat nip out of range and i hope you talk about the plant... not the cat. Isnt clear what is dead now

New Auto Grow (first attempt from seed to harvest)
Prom replied to Tee_Aitch_See's topic in Grow Diaries
The biobizz feeding table is veeeery friendly and set so you dont burn. i feed a lot more aggessive .. not weaker. But that is based on pure experience using the fertilizer on over 200 plants. They give you a very nice indication to end up with serious buds... follow them. The biobizz table is for autos... or fems you run over a 3 months indoor cycle. I recommend autos these days in general to start with. You can grow them all year around and learn just faster. The more i work with em, the more i love em. Very easy to grow and get results. And seed free outdoor... you only get with autos. I used seagro myself for years outdoor... you go through bottles, is very weak and when i started to use guanoflo, already plant size and bud size improved. I used biobizz once outdoor... never had a better result... never. But outdoor and indoor weed... i hardly smoke outdoor, stopped growing outdoor. Beware next outdoor season... legal to have 4 plants... bag seed... i plan on better filters for next outdoor season If somebody told you to reduce the feeding amount, as your plants are still small. Yes, agree, dont feed full. If you use the biobizz range and follow the table, the plants should always reach the needed size so you can follow their guide. They provide enough for the general grow cycle over 3 months. Rest you have to adapt. Auto come in handy here... you select a long auto taking 12 weeks, you just follow that table blind and focus on growing the plants. will be so easy and result so stunning, you will get hooked to the fertilizer.. happened to me love the stuff, buy it now in 5 liter containers -
New Auto Grow (first attempt from seed to harvest)
Prom replied to Tee_Aitch_See's topic in Grow Diaries
Seagro is a very friendly and very weak fertilizer. When your plants leave germination state, you can give them more Seagro, if that is your only N source. Go 4 to 5 ml per liter. The way more potent N source you get at Builders is GuanoFlo. This one packs about 1/3 of the punch biobizz fish mix has. I still wouldnt go over the recommended dosage, GuanoFlo has enough punch to burn your plants. Seagro doesnt... Start biobizz bloom with 1ml per liter when they go pre! Not before! Then work the dosage up, till you reach 4ml per liter, 2 to 3 weeks before harvest. If you start and want to make your life as easy as possible, select a known fertilizer brand and follow their feeding instructions on the dot! You use FF green bag, good cannabis specific fertilizer, your plants will grow sweet, if you water correct. Now you learn the plants.. even same batch of seeds, will grow different. Not said, even with this setup, that your plants will survive... but you have a great base to work on. You learn germination, veg, pre and flower... will go nuts waiting for harvest and do your first dry. Soooooo many possible fuck ups... but you dont have to figure our your fertilizer (this one is a bitch... is the dot on the i to get a perfect grow). My main point, dont try to invent the wheel again... make it as easy as possible. Mixing fertilizer without actually knowing what you do... will end as a waste of money... something will run into a deficiency or you burn them. Doesnt has to be the expensive biobizz range, enough other options... just a kit providing you all for a full grow cycle. Take the fertilizer off your mind and enjoy the grow.. enough to learn. They didnt wrote the dosage on for fun, they tested... use their numbers, should end good. You dont feed depending on time, you feed depending on moisture concentration in the soil and you fertilize depending on plant stage and need. Experience you gain by time will make it easier. Lift each pot, and when feather light... yeah, and they still dont hang the leaves, amazing... you make em wet again. Most people kill their first plants by over watering or the fertilizer (to much or not enough). If you wanna use biobizz... get a bottle of fish mix to use during veg, pre and flower. If you want to save a bit, mix 750ml fish mix with 250ml molasses and you just made your own biobizz grow. Top max is a must.. sorry expensive but worth the money, bio heaven i dont use... but want to compare a grow once to see differences, some of my friends enjoy using it a lot. Veg only fish mix, Pre start and swap grow and fish mix each feed. Follow that scheme till flush. So to make it short... as a beginner, i think mixing fertilizer on hopes and dreams... will not help -
First 2 weeks, temperature is your main enemy. Dont let the soil go below 12 degrees.. keep it between 20 and 25 degree is best. If you dont let them dry out, will work easy in the FF soil. 30 liter pots are rather small for outdoor fems, rest, good luck

The three harvested plants.. one was very very low.. the corner plant beside the duct didnt really got a lot of light. I also didn't expect them to get that tall.. 6 would have been better for this size tent.. but, was a first time grow.. will do them again. ^^ Video week 12, I took em end week 12.. wasn't really 50% but I had a bit enough of the waiting hehehe plant was 8-10 weeks after Royal Queen Seeds.. might have taken 13 to get them 50/50 all 8 hanging, the first three harvested are on the right.. middle of the three is the smallest yielder (25g dry), the other two reached 58g each (i always round down) 141 grams so far Made a pic when I trimmed the leaves of one of the big ones
-
OK, lets finish the Gorillas. I have a bit of time, my dog had blood in his urine.. he is with the vet, need to distract myself. The small three I put dark, bit a early harvest The last 5 still in the tent And the video of week 11.. isn't as easy to work up when you are behind, I hope I got it all correct
-
As long as they veg, give them all 2 weeks a copper soap spray, keeps PM at bay. For flower... i repeat myself, sorry guys.. get some Serenade garden disease control... would also make the copper soap obsolete... and Serenade easy to use while flowering. Leaves no taste behind on the smoke
-
I usually run my autos 20/4.. the gorillas were just a non effort grow. They got nutes, that was it. I finish the diary on saturday or if i get the time tomorrow. Finish... will not have the full harvest results. The three small plants are harvested, dried and in the jars.. smell awesome. 136g dry so far, the 5 big ones hanging to dry.. i might dress and jar them saturday or sunday. If your tent is rather full... backup the airflow. Yes, not growing during night cycle.. but humidity increases and i am close to the ocean. PM is a bit annoying so fresh air i prefer over light. If eskom plays balls, my ventilation runs 24/7 and cooks my climate
