I paid R378.26 incl VAt - R435 they had both there for the same price bud. All of the are marked down 50%. I didn't even look to see which color when I bought it. Ended up working just fine lol

Ya but having said all of this above... That flood light is marked down 50%... happened to stumble upon the invoice and ACDC had the original price R758 ex VAT and less the discount. So there is an argument. I gotta say, I was surprised at the price of this flood light.

I’m using one of these flood light (warm white) with 4 T8 LEDs attaches to it (cool white) as a veg light. Total draw is 222w (questionable because I added numbers on the box ☝) also wrong spectrum for vegging ☝ And this thing works better than my previous 600w metal halide. Believe it or not

Why don’t you use LED bulbs??? Might be more expensive then... hmmm I’m all for happiness etc. but this forum is like this. People are straight. I think it’s also passion, everybody is passionate about their growing experience and and... how much you are willing to accept that you’ve maybe wasted time and move on will be your own defining factor. not saying your light doesn’t work. I’m sure it grafts quite well bud However the technology is very very different.

Huge benefits to adding microbes. Wish I could better understand all the different species of which there is soooo much! All with different characteristics and traits. That’s something I would love to learn.

very interesting... @Totemic I wouldn't say the additional oxygen from microbial life would be that useful in the medium but the ability to dismantle Reactive oxygen species into h202. Very similar to Superoxide-dismutase, which keeps coming up. This enzyme is the first line of defense in a plant. This can also be achieved with the right amount humus and kelp, administered best through the respiratory system. When plants have these enzymes available, stress tolerance increases drastically, growth, blooms and the list goes on. 10 year study done by Virginia tech on specific bio-stimulants. Plant respiratory increase that was noted that of the opening and closing of the stomata too, plants opened wider and breathed more deeply as if they had was would be the equivalent to a shot of Adrenalin. Also another added benefit both Lacto and compounds increasing Superoxide dismutase - an increase in the Systemic stress response. Puts the plants on High alert and when they are in that mode, not much can become systemic, including PM. But that's while the plant is happy and thriving, when dying off towards the end of the plants life its a different story.

Yeah I would definitely advise against that. That was something I couldn't keep up with myself. Thinking the runoff was massively high meaning I would need to flush to get it down somehow, but in actual fact there are salt left in the soil yes, but many inert mediums are also buffered which means reading runoff would have to be inclusive of that too. I would usually only feed nutes every third feeding and the rest water, then you making all the nutrients that builds up as salts in the medium soluble with every watering ensuring you don't have build up. This can be increased to nutes every other feeding and water the rest for flowering. That's just how I would do it. Try remember, there really is only so much nutrients a plant can take in at any given time. These salts are the first form for Ion exchange. The purest form. There is no scenarios where bigger is better.

Yeah don’t stress then. Let them dry up now. Shouldn’t be a problem with the rise in temps. Pick them up first until you notice they are super light, you much rather under water than over water And then get a feel for the weight after watering. I would also suggest trying to get run-off only when absolutely necessary. Smaller plants really don’t use a lot of water

Looks like the onset of a fusarium wilting. Usually caused by bad fungi, caused by over watering

Nice bud, They looking very good. With regard to the plant you would like to get bigger or taller. I would recommend against trying to make it stretch bud, reason being, plants usually just grow better when there is less stretch. But if you really really want to make it stretch, you can play with light intensities, the less light the more they will stretch. Or just feed it more, I think that would be safer.

Hey man, have not really fed them much (but it does seem like something like that), I've just been watering, and gave a bit of fix mix here and there. They will be going into an amended soil so I think they will do good, only time will tell. -

Nothing really to understand I don't think. From what I know, its termed to describe the leaves reaching out for the sun (light source) because they hungry for them rays - like how happy clappies PRAISE THE LORRRDDD!
