Hi Crex At this stage the cost of getting everything set up for an indoor growth is a bit much for someone with no knowledge whatsoever. I've decided to set up in my courtyard. There is adequate sun and airflow and privacy, so I'll start outdoors until I know more about the plant. Now to start researching what plant I should go for in a courtyard - I was thinking autoflower -- and since I'm in good health - something wonderfully abundant in THC.

Hi Growopz - I will have 80 x 80 x 245 cm available to me so I,m thinking 1 plant and light stress or scrogging and good nutrients etc. Will the QB-75 be sufficient for this grow? My budget max is about R2 500.

Hi Crex - I started a thread regarding diy LED below - will be thankful if you can have a look at it. I just have a bare unused shower at the moment that I will convert into a grow space approx 1m x 1m.

Hi - I have a small space (shower cubicle) not used 1.2m x 1.2m. I will line the inside walls with reflective mylar. I'm on a tight budget so I'm currently researching my options regarding led lighting. As you know this is the most expensive part. It seems possible to construct a LED light source with these LED cobs fairly easily so I'm wondering how many of these cobs will I need per plant if I have 1 or 2 plants in a small space like that.
