I'd say, a bit of both brother. We always remember things bigger or better, like IT, kaking myself as a child, and now laughing my arse off. My uncle who was so tall, now I've out grown him. But... The mAd Berry, is purple and packs a punch, so yes, you are correct too, there are purple plants that are meant to be purple, and not from weather, that work. You made my mouth water too, so thanks for that -
Plants are taking far too long to dry out in that size pot, for that size plant. Just me...

Well, if you think about it logically, and not trying to be condescending at all, please. Its basically, Autumn colors, and in nature, that means the plants starting to die off, and if the cannabis plant gets too cold too quickly, the bud can go purple and stop producing THC, and fight more with that energy to live. Again my own thoughts. -

Yes yes, like my Mad Berry, from the go Purple. Still a better high than the cold conditions purple, but still not like the normal green version of that same strain. Added, the THC comment, is only on the purple parts. -

Yeah, the word is that once the plant starts to purple from temps, and not so much from genetics, then the plant stops producing more THC, and the THC that is there doesn't ripen 100% (this is my understanding of what I've read) Like the plant starts to change purple, like you would apply sunscreen to go in the sun, the plant goes purple to counteract the cold swings. Basically dying, or the leaf no longer contains chlorophyll -
I have to agree, do not think its light that the issue, as I've seen results with very little myself. When I had more enthusiasm, I used to layer the top of each pot, 20mm or more, of perlite on the surface and that would take care of fungus gnats too and drying off from air or fans. Your soil always looks wet to me, or do you only take a picture when you watered the plants?

You can use the EM pictured or Biodyne 401 The EM is tea from worm bin, so basically what Organinc is saying.

Most plants, go a week or even 2 more than the breeders recommended time, for me at least. That last few days, makes a huge difference in end weight and product quality

Only and best way to know when to harvest, is the Trichomes. You'll need to see them and judge accordingly

Could be, overwatering, or not enough nitrogen, are you adding Magnesium or Calmag?

Hey, if you can, boost the light yes, and maybe check out one of the suppliers on the forum for an upgrade at a later date. Indoor you okay, but that looks like at best to me, like week 3 to 4, and you have another 5 to 6 left then easy, with those lights. You unfortunately cant use a phone for light output, it can read output, not the PAR or PPFD you need, or at least correctly. Those units are expensive, and the phone companies dont include such fancy stuff now days on light sensors that good. You actually wanted the most light right now, from about week 2 onwards. When bud site are forming and so on.

Hey Fam, welcome. You are growing outside, and this time the year there just isn't enough light to fatten that up properly, and you are correct in that the small buds will make up the large looking bud, but are mostly always made of small nugs. More than 4 weeks away actually, and you not going to get much out now, unfortunately.

Very similar to what I was saying, just reverse in a sense and leaves air pockets or uneven watering. Like having air pockets, or even similar to like having root damage, from or similar to air pruning but non intentionally, by having air in the mix or uneven watering and dry spots.

I found when potting up, it would happen and to the plants or bags I didnt take care to fill properly and tight, as you then water, the medium sinks and leaves air pockets. Sometimes in coco, it can happen when the coco isn't fully broken down, rehydrated or a chunk in there causing it hard for nutrients or water to enter or even holding far to much.
