  1. I've since discovered that of the clones received, I got both those companies clones, and now the weekend, was given another clone from a seed popped locally. Very excited to see what comes of them.
  2. Best of luck with the germ
  3. Good luck brother man, and will be rooting for you. Good advice from our family member above
  4. @iGrowDaggayou can clean your page of comments if youd like now, have opened a thread for such topic.
  5. Hey Fam, @ORGANinc. @iGrowDagga @Marzcanna @Ill_Evan As the title suggests, a debate on silicon used in either method of growing. Do you use it, why, and how do you use it? Have you found it to work, hamper or cause more issues? Which form of it do you use if so and why? Thank you
  6. Lovely brother, seems no1 is the boss here so far.
  7. Fok, this thread is banging. Maybe start a new topic on this and we can debate it?
  8. Liquid silica, is best and most used in organic, as a foliage spray only. Helps with PM and keeping the leaves free of pests. But it's not for the vein walls of the plant doing it this way, and liquid isn't a organic soil additive.
  9. I use Lava dust in my soil, but if you going to add after it's okay, and so is Diatomaceous earth. I must add, the Diatomaceous earth is going to take slightly longer to breakdown and be available, hence why I use Lava dust.
  10. I dont often post links, but here you go, good read. https://www.google.com/amp/s/blog.nutri-tech.com.au/silica-the-hidden-cost-of-chemicals/amp/
  11. When you HST like that, your stem get a knuckle at that spot, and makes like a super highway for nutrients, and you'll notice bigger heads on the specific branch.
  12. You'll have better luck rubbing / rolling the stem between your thumb and finger, pressing lightly, and you'll feel it relax, and bend easier. Added, you want to break the stem wall inside, not outside, and it creates a super highway too
  13. I believe only in hydro, not in soil, as the soil has already silica, in different form, and the plant in soil, couldnt or wouldnt benefit from added liquid silica. My understanding.
  14. I like how you Express that StonedTrooper Approved
  15. You can use or have the cables between, but prefer a ratchet rope to each corner, for balance and alignment. My thoughts only.
  16. Glad to see your post, I called it...
  17. Ooooh, minus 5 points to you, for insider information with the breeder Wait, or do we add 5 points for doing your homework
  18. Correct, my theory is right, my description and terms used may have been incorrect yes, but was off the top of my head in the moment. You got what I meant though hopefully.
  19. I like how you do the ducting, if I am correct in what I see... Very cool, Happy the children are growing still
  20. Not completely correct, your Microbes aren't only on the top layer, and you want some to feel threatened, and breed and lay eggs, forcing them to multiply. You can also drown them with too much water, and that is also why you have coco, and perlite, as they hold water and air, and a place for the Microbes to live and hide.
