So my 600W of LED in 2.4x1.2 tent, how would you say that works out? Lots of guys who use HPS will say even with the same watts, they will have bigger buds and harvests. I'm a firm believer in LED, just so that's out the way firstly. This is just a discussion

I also used to think that LEDs are cheaper to run on electricity, but isn't 600W of HPS and 600W LED, going to use the same 600W at the wall? The only deciding factor being, that you use less electricity to cool the room down possibly or only? Plus the replacement cost of the bulb every second grow.

Same here, but lots of guys run lights without the fans on them, or a decent or correctly ventilated room, and the temps go past 25deg all the time. I even had that issue before buying an aircon.

Not completely true, but you should never bring the light that close anyway with an LED to foxtail.

Hence why the EHG is killing it, cheap and a copy

@420SA it would seem the family want to show case their dank, no matter how. The flavor, style and creativity, or place, will all come in the moment, and dont see many going out their way to have a photo taken, specifically with regards to a vista, unless they are there already I guess? Added, like I have sooo many smoking spots with beautiful images taken there, with me in, but without the cannabis included, for a few obvious reasons. Hard to get to those spots with winter here and with the setting the same.

And here I was arranging an awesome vista for the family, but will still go for it for the fun of it. Just missing this as I wasnt ready at all

What I've understood, the plant produces flowering hormones in the dark, and the longer the dark, the more hormones to flower, and anything greater than 10 hours dark, can be too much hormones and start them flowering. (Photo plants) So yes, you can do longer darker periods, as the plants flower, and it will help with promoting flowering. As long as you give enough light in the light on period, the DLI, you are fine and not hampering your growth or flowering. So slowly bring the tent more into darkness, will help simulate the natural effects of season change. This is why an 2 hour power out, in the middle of the light on, can mess with the plants, and give to much of the flowering hormone. Again, what I have discovered and can be wrong too.
