I get the idea of mulch, and fully understand its benefits, and used to do it myself and then started to find I had issues with fungus gnats and bugs hiding under there. So as @SkunkPharm does, I keep the top of my indoor plants naked and have instead used a layer of perlite to stop drying and gnat making homes.

What @Bakstein420 said. This way you are also sealing the cupboard of any passive air flow or entry, and gearing yourself towards the sealed unit for CO2 later and capable of holding it inside.
-
You can use a thick sheet or vinyl, hang it inside the case at the top and roll it up when needed.
-
You'll be very surprised what just love and small inputs can do for you and you dont want to over complicate your learning and rush anything
-
Try with full planted area first, otherwise you can get a humidifier for cheap, they aren't as specialized as aircon or dehumidifier, so anyone will work for you.
-
Oh yes, you probably dont have many if anything growing in there now. Once you fill that space, you'll be at the correct or more than needed humidity so dint stress till you get going properly. As with regards to the CO2, best advice I can give you is, to first get the hang of this plant, and what it takes to go forward, once you got the basics down, which already will impress you if you get them right, you can then expand and try various additions that benefit growth. Otherwise you might have so many things going on you will find it difficult to assess where you went wrong or what to change to fix it.

Hey brother, You seem to have everything okay, just as you point out, maybe the humidity can go up slightly for veg, and seedlings especially. Aim for 50 to 60, but 40 wont harm. Yes, in summer when it's hot, and like me have a dehumidifier running, temps can get high and around 30 to 32deg.

Have you managed to come right @DamDave? -
You can run CO2, plants eat CO2 in the day and release O2, Like anything in life, you up one thing, you need to up the rest. Give an engine more fuel only, it will die from flooding, or only more air, it will run lean and burn. If you close it off, run CO2, you need to run temps high enough, over 30deg, and have enough CO2 PPM, and have enough light, over 1200PAR. You can add it, but keep your flow the same, and it make a slight difference, as there isn't enough CO2 as the plant needs anyway in the ozone Or you could have wasted your time essentially

Agree, slide that into another dark cup or wrap it with something to cut the light.

Most good or detailed enough seed banks, will show you the figures for that, Should state the stretching amount on the information of the strain.
-
My understanding and experience, Sativa around double in flower Indica around 1/3 in size. Hybrid, between, which ever is more dominant Hence why I have a stagger on the plants and lifted some up to match.
-
Same size pot, but these got root bound at the end of flowering. They had been in those pots 3 week longer than the above plants, planted same time.
-
That has so many variables it's not easy to predict as such. How long you veg for, how much stretch in that strain and how fast and well it grows or a certain time frame is also different. Here is an example of a plastic pot, smaller than a 3 gallon fabric, and rushed to flower as a teenager. "Right, you old enough now, go produce"

Grower on the cannabist area said he had bought from him, and was local and collected it in person. Not sure if he has had time to grow it and if I can find that post, will link you to it. At least legit in that there was a successful transaction.

Give them a chance brother, they growing roots and making home first.

Awe @oros da boss lekker brother. Definitely a pro job, had me thinking that off the bat. You ask a good question, and I think he is running a relay to switch the fan from regular speed to fast when on, then slow in off position or signal. A guess though and he will need to inform us both

Transplant before or after

If I may add something, and can make a difference. You want to honestly get those plants in their final homes asap, as the 3 week stretching is actually the root growing that fast, and you dont want to disturb those root later than needed. I know it's more work, but I am only trying to help others. -
Joh, I see now he built that, which is why I hadn't seen it before with the ready wired plugs on ends and boxed. It looked that professional, big ups brother.

@DamDave i know you probably busy with the phone now, but hopefully you get it still to save you time. Before even loading or setting everything up on the phone again, do bare minimum to get working to test your experience here. If you are sorted, then start adding apps and making it personal again. -

It sounds like the pop up screen is not functioning, rather than blocked. Had the same issue on Takealot, while checking out or something, regarding a window popping up and me needing to click or enter details, and it never came up until clearing the cache in Chome on PC. Possibly the same here. Phone being the difference and processes different
