Much better, you just dont want any stagnant air pockets or you'll get mildew
-
Cool, try to also change the direction of the air inside the room, otherwise it will make a vortex and not refresh all the air in that space correctly. Check my kak diagram, blue is air flow, red is stale air pockets.
-
This information by @Prom is good stuff, You want that fan oscillating, or another smaller fan somewhere in the oscillating and kicking air out of regular patterns. You will get WPM is your flow isn't good or changing directions and refreshed constantly (last part if you not doing co2 and closed room, and controlling the humidity precisely). Your one fan, not oscillating, is risking it in my opinion.
-
Sweet, you can kind of see the angle is okay and distance isn't far, and if you angle it up, I think it's good to go. You can also lift the fabric pots off the floor and then get more upwards flow through the plants. You have passive air ports at the bottom, or are those the slots you made, or you pumping air in with the other inlet fan?
-
Tight, but it works. Can the fan oscillate fully, otherwise you could always put the fan outside and leave the door open, till you need to go stealth and then close it inside. Maybe a smaller fan x2, your space got smaller too.
-
I'd never let air sit, rather keep the flow going in my opinion. If your room has passive air vents, or you could make them, then run one extraction fan only, and let the room suck in air, then you wouldn't need them both going. Also my opinion and what I'm currently doing myself. You'll easy tell if your temps get to high or you cant get the humidity right, then you can add the second fan, pulling or pushing air, if needed.

A quick yield boosting guide for newbies

Yes that's correct, I was made to understand that topping was the wanted outcome, and when people had done it, but not close enough to the base, then you get the FIM, as it says itself, fuck I missed. Or they named it wrong. I do know guys who go for FIMing, but it was originated from a bad topping. -
I cant recall who said it on this forum, but he and I both get our perlite directly from Pratley. R200 for 100L if memory serves me correctly There should be an outLet in all major areas and centrally located to the city. Also maybe running a mix of H2O2 peroxide and water, you could clean it, and the peroxide will turn into water after the procedure. A guess it would work...

Great write up brother, it always handy having this in one spot and the most important stuff. Out of curiosity, do you not mean TOPPING, as FIMing is as I understand "Fuck I Missed" and you instead of removing all the main shoot, it grows back but deformed and then let's the lower branches catch up? -

Hey brother, You can try the following places, with great review and genuine service. @growopz (latest technology and knows his stuff) And Futurama have a big selection. I dont owe these places anything other than I have received outstanding service from them both and will always go back. Not sure if @Master_G is still here...but he also had something on offer (pre apologies admin). -
Pleasure brother, Ah yes, the plastic weave, like the packet you used to see at the grocery stores. I take it the cover over that is mylar? We shall wait in anticipation for the new setup pictures and future grows.
-
Cool, theirs is a different make, but 100 cheaper than the Chinese shop, or I didnt barter with them
-
I'm so happy you sorted brother, and good deal at a good business. If you making reference to the extra sheet at the bottom, from my understanding it's meant to be a splash guard more than holding water I guess, and there for in case. Possibly put a plastic sheet over or under it for safety and protection. Pictures or it never happened Super happy for you

Builders have this for 200 Mounted at the top, plugged in, will go on when power goes out, lasts 15 hours and can add solar to it. Dont have it on your timer system, or it will come on at lights out, and bad.
-
Any dead air is bad, make sure when your system is running, you can see all leaves move or rustle in one revolution of the oscillating fan, if you see leaves not moving, you going to have WPM known as white powder mildew, and mold. Very very very bad
-
Both your questions are difficult and require different angles or processes to solve, and can be done a number of ways, that is personal choice. Normally, fans blowing left to right, angle up, or down, which works best for you. Some place a second fan just kicking air up, getting that CO2 circulating. Battery backup, you never want the air to stand, ever. You can get away with no lights on for a while in flowering, bit in veg, you dont want the lights out or it will get to much flowering hormones and go haywire. So adding a emergency light, with backup battery, that comes on when lights out, you'll be okay, they R300
-
Exactly and agree with you, but do you see his grow room making enough sound that it would need to add deadening. Wouldn't the extraction fan be the most noise only?
-
Makes total sense and thank you for the forewarn. Probably works better for insulation and not soundproofing. Have you also insulated your whole room or tent?
-
I get what you going for, and I like it honestly. Give me second though... You might be pleased without the soundproof material, so maybe first set it all up, and take it from there, and you could end up thanking me for not spending that money and time. You can always purchase and put it on afterwards, without a hassle.
-
If you attach something on the ends or corners, that sticks through the insulation and you cant fasten or put a cap on, or just glue / double sided tape the ends or corners only, then it's not all over, should hold. Magnetic would be good if you had them on hand, but dont go out and pay for them, was just a thought really.
-
Glue normally means for good, tape would be removable I'd guess if you ever need to remove or change setup. You said metal box, what about magnetic tacs, flat head drawing pins for the wood?
