  1. Again, my bad for any misunderstanding and was expecting a different post from you and then another post came, similar review style. I think in today's age, we all need to vigilant and be sure we get what we paying our hard earned money on. The more companies, the more competitive market, the better for us all. Peace brother
  2. Your ducting will fit on the ends of the fan, so wont make the fan noise go away, that's if your fans even make a noise. What I've seen, is a soundproof box made that houses the fans, both, and the ducting directions from there to and from area. I think you have the general idea and direction, with a good understanding now, and I know you'll do just fine.
  3. Ideally, cold air in at bottom and hot out on top, as hot air rises. Plus, CO2 is heavier than O2, and by thus removing air from the top, you removing the O2 and keeping the CO2 inside. What you can do, is mount it up, off the floor and out of the dust, and pipe it down into the room, or better, filter the air in as most would advise you and for more cleaner air and plant growth. You can get that later as your on a budget as most of us are. Peace
  4. Didnt mean to offend anyone, last thing I want to do... You had mentioned before, you would post the Dimafem Or I misunderstood you, then you posted the other Humboldt pack, so was confused. Your posts original felt like I was reading an article by a shareholder, or just me smoking to much.
  5. You did mention my bad, Okay, where are your inlet and extraction fans going, inside or outside that area?
  6. That can work, though first check my reply and what your answer to that post is will determine the outcome.
  7. Most grow rooms are not soundproofed, and your extraction fan and inlet fan, I take it would be outside your grow space, no? If that is the case, you dont need to soundproof the grow area, the lights and plants are not going to make any sound, nor your 30cm fan. You'll want to silence the extract fan and inlet fan only. My understanding.
  8. Haha, I cant handle unwanted sounds, small annoying things... You can go with the expanded foam, hard if you haven't got a backing and only one sided. You can go for underfelt carpet, or that type of mixed material recycled blanket? Just check what's easy to get at the best price point
  9. Well, are you soundproofing for your own sanity, or just to stop unwanted suspicions? It would definitely help to insulate the system, if between 2 layers or board walls. If not for the actual sound deadening.
  10. You seem to like finding the dodge sites, as with Maryandjane.co.za which we still dont know. I'd rock up there or send someone for my money back in cash. Bad service and business, wow.
  11. Peter Parker & Scarlett Johansson Those look legit, so do the names they are using. Dont forget to show us the previous package as you mentioned, so far need more convincing.
  12. Thank you, just help where I can. Long run, no nutrients, no repurchasing grow mediums, and it gets better as it ages. That's a good investment and sustainable too. The water I use normally needs to pH down, so I use lemon juice, fresh, or can use vinegar or even citric acid, but the vinegar needs to be a certain type and process and I dont enjoy putting powder in my water so dont use the citric acid. Mainline is so worth the effort, just need the extra training time before flowering and know just how far to bend or how to coerce the branch that you get the angles, without the snap, crack or pop. Enjoy your adventure brother.
  13. My pleasure brother, I'm happy to help, and you can hit me up about anything you need and I'll do my utmost best to answer you or advise the best I can.
  14. 1x fan, with air in and air out, 100 perfect. You could add one more trowing air up or down, but not very critical now. Keep an eye on your RH and go from there. Microbes, hmmm, my personal choice, is Biodyne Environoc 401 sold over counter, but try find the Biodyne liquid gold if you can. There are others too, Kelpak is good, they actually rave about our brand overseas, as it is a cleaner and has more active and living Microbes than others. Worm compost and teas, and there is worm compost in the FF soil. Check what is best and local to/for you. Oh and adding any powder nutrients or anything not natural, will effect and harm or kill off the Microbes.
  15. You need to first find what medium works for you best, or you feel will be easier or better suited to your style. I think soil is a good choice. You can grow in that soil in 2 ways, adding nutrients that the plant can use straight up at the roots, or you can add Microbes in the start, and they will begin consuming the rock dust and minerals that are in that FF soil, building on it and making it healthier over time, and the Microbes will feed the roots instead, and you'll feed the Microbes with the molasses. Perfect, I have 3 of them, you dont want any parts having stagnant air pockets.
  16. I've never used FF soil before, but I'd say it should get you there, a rule to remember is once you start using nutrients, you'll need to up it and keep using it, from my experience and research. You can add that as you get to week 3 of flower or even sooner, up to you. Try find something with P and K in natural form for flowering, but not needed really. Get the hang of growing and this plant, and then start mixing in nutrients and see, you might not like using bottled or powdered nutrients.
  17. RO water starts at 0ppm, so you add nutrients and minerals as you like, you become the scientist...lol. Parts Per Million, you are adding those parts, as you see fit. Then you take the ppm up till a level the plants are happy at.
  18. Hey Zol, Do you plan on using any other nutrients besides the molasses? With your light, you wont need to cool, only move air around, and well as Prom mentioned. I'd always pH, even tank water, as I've honestly seen 7.1pH rain water caught in a tank before, so rather safe than sorry. RO water is perfect if you cant use rain, as then you basically telling the water what you want in there from the start, and not working on a guess. Peace
  19. Flip brother, every time I enter my grow room, I have you to thank. For some reason beyond me, after looking the plants over, I realise I'm busy whistling and singing... La la la, la la la la... The flippin Smurfs tune
  20. As I said, most my goods come form, or will come from Futurama, but if a place puts a warning it might tear, then to me they themselves have no faith or its happening more than once. Again, I like Futurama
  21. The 210 is a T and the 600 is D, as @PsyCLownmentioned, and therefore different material make up, the 210 is more a nylon probably or something, I'm not sure, but the 210 seems stronger made, and as much I like Futurama, if their tent has a warning on the site, that they are tight and can rip if not treated well, I tend to stay away from those items.
  22. Hey brother, the D is the thickness and called Denier, kind of like the thread count per area, and have heard that the 210D is okay as it is slightly different material lining it and so actually strong. You making reference to the tent Series 3?
  23. Welcome to the family @skullpill Glad to have another organic user and someone to share with and learn from. Awesome grow you had there too
  24. Congratulations brother, I'm sure everyone is happy for you, and Peanut butter and jealous too Smurf-tastic
  25. Precisely, this isn't a mine is better than yours, or this way is better than that way, at all. If nobody ever tried anything new or different, there wouldn't be new things discovered or even facts or data on those processes tried. So if others are interested more in soil and how to fully get the benefits out of it, I'd be happy to assist with my understanding and experiences. This picture below, shows just how a ground covering plant, planted straight into clay ground / dirt, then just given a watering of Microbes and then watered as needed, and the plant sending this energy through the plants root, has actually built that clay into a healthy thriving environment. When he was told he would have to spend more than an arm and leg for tons of top soils brought in and nutrients used, and so on.
