Sacred Seeds replied to 420SA's topic in Monthly Competitions
I removed 2 of the previous 3 pics that I posted after I read the rules that only 3 pics are allowed. My Easy Ryder is dry now. Ready to cure it -
That's is really good news! It's a step in the right direction. South Africa is getting there...
-
Yes it has been quiet but I guess we all get busy at some point. I wanted to know, did you put the clones directly in a jiffy and then cover it with a clear bag?

Welcome @Dingo8mybaby You've been smoking some nice strains. What growing medium will you be using for your Cali Orange?

I guess I have nothing to lose then! My EasyRyder which is drying. -
It actually arrived at customs on 3 November and it took a further 5 days to arrive at the post office. I also confirmed that they never received my first order. The only difference was Bonza added tracking to the 2nd order. I don't know if this made a difference but I'm happy nonetheless.

Some interesting opinions and facts! I have so much to learn still, but eager nonetheless!

#MakeTheCircleBigger A hearty welcome to you @JoburgGold

So Bonza confirmed my order and that I received 2 free seeds! 1 x Free: Jock Horror Auto 1 x Free: Blue Mammoth Auto So far so good! Now to be patient... GOOD NEWS!!! Bonza resent my order on 31/10/2016 because it seems it got lost in the post. My seeds arrived 08/11/2016. I must say that they use Excellent stealth options. I'm so happy & relieved! I will definitely recommend Bonza due to the fantastic customer service that I received. I'm going to give my grow area and tents a nice clean this weekend to start preparing for my next grow.

Update Day 78 (of 73) 5 days overdue. She's ready to be harvested. The last watering I did 7 days ago with fresh tap water to try and flush her. I cut away all the large yellow leave. I can confirm that this strain has a very low odour. I didn't have to scrub the air. It's only when you are up close and personal that you get a nice sweet spicy fruity aroma. I'm yet to pinpoint the exact smell. I don't have a decent magnifying glass to check the colour of the trichs. I'm assuming that she's ready because she's past her due date. Next step is obviously to chop, dry and cure her. Any helpful tips?

I've never seen anything like that! Just recently I used 18 month old autoflower seeds and one of them just stopped growing immediately after germination. I guess you can expect anything from old seeds. In my case the autoflowers are already sensitive seeds.

Update: Day 69 of 73 No extra vertical growth but lots more trichomes and the buds are looking much better. Nice smell but not pungent at all. The leaves started yellowing 4 days ago which means she's nearing the end of harvest. I do suspect that she would surpass day 73 but I will just have to wait and see.

What a beauty!!!

I just IM'd Bonza. They say I must wait till 28 October for the 30 working days to pass, for them to be able to assist me. There is hope even if its just a little bit!
-
I will do that! @420SA

Always nice to see the start of life for a new cannabis plant!
-
Yes I'm based in Cape Town. I'm hoping too that there is a backlog at the post office. I think I will follow your advice and send Bonza an email even if its just to inform them.
-
That root ball is looking healthy! I will see if I can find a friend that is outside of the western cape that will be prepared to do the favour for me.
-
@cheese420 Your plants are looking healthy despite the heat stress. No doubt, it will recover.
-
@CK Your setup is looking good! Sadly my seeds that was shipped nearly 30 days ago never arrived. I'm assuming that Capemail got hold of it. Don't know if I should order from Bonza again or try a different seed bank. Anyway, did you order directly from Kaliman seeds?
-
I wouldn't judge the Biobizz on the autoflower in coco. Next, I will try the Biobizz with a Feminised seed in coco and Nutriplex side by side to get a good comparison. I heard good things about both Biobizz & Nutriplex but I'm still a newbie making mistakes, so I don't think I the nutrients are too blame (yet). I have yet to receive any news on my seeds that I ordered from Bonza, sadly it looks like a loss for me. It's been nearly 30 days since the seeds were shipped. I will have to try a different strategy.
-
Yes I'm still using the Biobizz range with EM prosoil. What other Additives do you think I should add? If you come across the info, pass it on. For now that's all I have.

Update Day 59 of 73 All is good, she's still the same length but much bushier with very large leaves that are being covered with trichomes, it seems disproportionate to the overall size of the plant. Similar to a bonsai I guess! It seems to me that it still has a long way to go before the buds are fully formed. All the leaves are still very green with the exception of some of the tips. When does the leaves start yellowing? 14 Days seems to be a short time to complete her growth. I'm actually learning so much about autoflowers during this process.

Welcome Dragon888!!!

Update day 51 of 73: Easy Ryder doing good! Considering that I thought it would turn out to be a small lollipop. Trichomes are starting to cover the leaves. She's very bushy which means a lot of the flowers are not getting enough light. I'm too scared to trim leaves because of possible shock which she wont recover from in time.
