Thanks bro. What is an easy way to increase humidity? Should I just get a small humidifier and a humidity controller?

I did a test run for a few hours today with Lights on Inlet and exhaust running Oscillating fan Temp is sitting at around 27deg and humidity at 40%. Any advice on how I can go about correcting this? I was thinking of a portable air evaporator/cooler and maybe a small humidifier? Or are there some tips and tricks I don't know about If I'm getting 27deg now then when temps get warmer I'm gonna have big problems lol

So, I've read that it possible to grow in a completely closed system with very little ventilation and CO2 supplementation. Does anyone here grow like that? I'd love to have a hybrid of the two methods where I could run my intake and exhaust at intervals and supplement CO2.. If it was possible?

How high are these plants in the pic? Im growing 1 mostly sativa, 1 mostly indica and one hybrid. Plan on 2 months veg and 2 months flowering

In other news, heres a seedling I've got outside. Not looking too bad, but it's growing slow as hell lol. This is probably over a month old. Have about 5 of them . Gonna just throw them away I guess as they're from bag seeds

Thanks, will keep playing around with it and see what works.. Just using some cheap extractor fans atm.. Haven't even hooked them up yet

Not even too sure if I can even adjust my fan speeds yet tbh, as I'm just using some normal extractor fans and not the proper inline fans

Thanks man. For the moment I've just wired it for heating or cooling. Great system you got going there. I'll guess I'll just see what levels I'm getting and adjust from there.. Still a newbie here with alot to learn lol, so not sure how much I'd have to adjust etc as I go along.. Just planning on keeping it simple as possible to start and go from there

Quick update. The heater is doing its job. temperatures have been constant between 21 and 24 since last night. However, it seems like the heater has lowered the humidity to around 50% . Is this still acceptable?

It's a stc 1000 temperature controller. You can pick them up for about R300. See here But.. The other day I saw something better, for 500. Can control humidity as well... I guess I'll have to upgrade eventually haha This is what I should have bought But having said that, I have used an stc 1000 for a few years now and it works like a boss for temperature.

Wired up temperature controller and planted the seeds. Sitting at around 60% humidity and 24 degrees. Will take some more pics in a few days.. Or as soon as they break the surface

Thanks, temperatures do drop below 18 there so ill just put a small heater . Also, will light affect the seedling? because that area has some light 24/7

Going to start germinating tonight. Jiffy pellet method. Thinking of germinating behind my fish tank which has a high humidity level (will check min and max readings tonight), while i finish up my grow cabinet. Should i cover the pellets after i add the seeds? Should i watch temperature in that area? Any other advice you can give me ? I germinated some seeds in that area a month or 2 back with a 100% success rate (paper towel method), before temperatures were as low as they are now.

Cool, probably gonna replace the fan though anyway too, with something slimmer .. so i can get more space. Might mount this one higher up, or get like 2-3 slim box fans and mount those
