Having a birthday braai today and I take a look at my plants and see a brown spot on a leaf. No glasses on I take a closer look only to see a small brown grasshopper jump off. Arrrrgh.

My brother uses him. Seems like he builds up a relationship with his clients via WhatsApp. He also connect's clients with similar ailments ( back pain and depression in my brothers case) if they want to chat about various remedies. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk

I was wondering why some put more than one auto in a pot. What happens if they all come out female? Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk

Strawberry Vostok from @Bay Seeds. 5 days since seeds put in soil. Using Woolworth's fabric shopping bags which is just shy of 30l in size. FF soil in one and Orgasoilux in the other. Gonna be moving these around the garden when the sun and wind do their thing killing everything out here.

SCROG it is not. Without getting into the finer details about what makes a SCROG or not this grow is leaning towards using a net for support more than a SCROG. Next time I'll train the plant correctly from the beginning. This cutting I used to take more cuttings and the shape of the plant sent me down this path. I've stretched a 800mm x 800mm net into a 900mm x 900mm cabinet. Squares are to big for my liking (120mm x 120mm) but working. Have another screen (100mm x 100mm squares) which I can adjust the height when the time comes. Last two pics. I know I need to defoliate below the net at some stage. I know there is going to be a growth spurt. Anyone's 2c will be appreciated.

Potassium deficiency or shock. Tomorrow will be a week since transplant and is in the cabinet permanently. The mercury shot up to 38° in the shade the other day and boy did I battle to keep the cabinet below 31°. So I'm putting the brown leaf tips down to stress. If it's a potassium problem I believe there is not much you can do anyway. Gave a water today with a dash of molasses. Surrounding plants just sharing the awesome @Light It Up and @growopz lights while they can.

Amazing value for money & 1st class packaging

Pretty much 100% germination hit rate on @Totemic seeds my side as well. Are you indoor or outdoor? I planted some outdoors ( not Totemic's) beginning of September and had a few not show their heads. I think the weather played a part as it was wet and icy cold. Indoors I have had 100% on everything. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk -
Couldn't help myself, had half an ironing board laying around. Guess I'll try a two tier net.

Strawberry Vostok... Bay Seeds...🔥
West Coast Vaper replied to GreenGrow Garden Route's topic in Local Genetics
Looking forward to planting my lot. Had an experience yesterday building a net frame. As much as I was turning, the damn screw would just not penetrate the wood. Checked screw, changed screw, checked I wasn't screwing into a knot, fuck I was puzzled. I was turning my moer off in the wrong direction. Oh, tested my TORTONI yesterday. Slow Seedling Growth Advice Needed
West Coast Vaper replied to Slartibarfast's topic in Indoor Growing
I had a problem with stunted growth my last grow. One of the problems was that my soil was too wet. It was a seedling in a 10l pot and although the soil felt dry by really sticking my finger in there I invested in a probe that told me otherwise. Check and tick off the list. It's been 4 weeks from photo above to the one's below. She has been put in a 20l PnP fabric bag with FF soil. I have taken a few cuttings from this girl and have ended up with 6 main branches evenly spaced out of pure luck. A bit of LST and I'm gonna try using a net which I bought on the spur of the moment. Net is just for show now. I'm gonna leave the plant for two weeks or so then install the net.

I took cuttings from the 3 comp plants. As Murphy would have it, my favorite #3 did not make it cutting wise. So here starts the journey of cutting T2 which is second from the top in the pic.

Yeah thanks bud. Surprise myself sometimes. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk

Shot bud. Gained a lot of knowledge on indoors from looking and learning during the course of the comp. And forum input [emoji1690] Got a few cuttings I'm gonna put through a West Coast summer outdoors shade house now. Cutting T2. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
