  1. Standing here looking at the plants I think I may just have to flip this weekend. Possibility I might run out of height.
  2. Considering not doing anything for now due to lack of experience. First week or two of flower I'll see what the plant is doing stretch wise and commit to trimming or leave be. On that note. Any Capetonions wanting to come train me and the plants, farm air, beer and a braai is on offer.[emoji12] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk

  6. Since our very successful business went bang with covid my wife and myself decided to try and get in on the emerging market. I was surprised by the amount of growers out here and the talk over a pint at the bush pub was always the same. Gotta mission for simple things like jiffy plugs. Bingo. I started keeping my eyes open for bargains and quality products, arrange with suppliers if they would consider reselling prices and passed the deal on. I've been fortunate to have grown Totemic, Bay Seeds, Daggafontein Genetics and people started asking for clones. I have given clones away as I received clones for nothing. When and if I eventually sell clones I would like to have an agreement with the breeder firstly for credit and recognition and secondly to set up a royalty payment of sorts. I was surprised to see B&B and the likes selling clones. Is it still not illegal to sell plants? Breeders selling clones well it's theirs to sell. A seed importer taking a seed and cloning and selling multiple clones with no compensation to the person who sold him the seed just don't sound right. It's hard work trying to get a foothold in the market but honesty first man. I would rather you buy a product from me and receive a clone as a thank you. Probably work out cheaper. 7. 10 days or so since changing lights back to veg mode. The lights have been on 24hrs to help combat the cold but will be set on 18/6 from today. Lights are 400mm above plants at the moment. Looking at these beauties I wish I could dial the clock back. I'm in two minds on flipping to flower next Sunday which will be shy of 3 weeks of re-vegging. I'll probably do it anyways.
  8. Thanks. Just needed some confirmation. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  9. So the plants were in flower for 10 when I decided to put them back into veg. That puts them at 11 days in reveg now. Anyways I haven't given the plants a good inspection for some time and today I spotted these. Is this leftovers from going into flower or something else? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  10. Honestly I know a limited amount about nutrients. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  11. Quick question bud or anyone else. Read somewhere GHE is salt based or something like that. Does that mean you get organic nutes? Anyone keen on giving a Friday night lesson? Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  12. You Cape Town side. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  13. Did I not mention prior to the comp there should be a 'how the fcuk did he keep that plant alive' category. Tempted to flip to flower already but don't worry guys some time yet. Unless I make a batch of moonshine this weekend[emoji48] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  14. To be honest, I used it the once at the start of all this palaver out of desperation. I've settled on adding molasses every other water and take it from there. Still unsure about the GHE. In my head it still says for hydro. I'm soil. Dunno. It's just me and chemicals man, I try and avoid that stuff in everyday life so feel the same with plants I suppose. 15. Starting to take shape. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  16. I thought the yellowing leaves would fall off but they are turning green again. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  17. Cinnamon powder mixed into the soil before use takes care of fungus gnat and similar related issues. Try sprinkling some on top of your soil and maybe it will work it's way into the soil when watering. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  18. 24 hours later. This morning I re-tied down the previously trained branches on #2 & #3. I shit you not!! These plants are improving in front of my eyes. Pics from yesterday and today together to show improvement. Man. I'm happy.
  19. It ain't over till the fat lady sings bud. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  20. It's been a week since I transferred the plants into the PnP bags. I kept the lights on 24 hours since Monday temps in my cabinet dropped down to 9°. I have started also adding molasses. Things seem to be back on track and plants are improving on a daily basis.
  21. Still looking better than mine.[emoji109] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  22. Yeah fokk bra. Update. Don't be embarrassed, your grow can't be as bad as mine. [emoji109] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  23. Girls seem to have bounced back somewhat. Phew. Full report sometime this weekend. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  24. Yep. Was thinking about a month of sick bay rest and see where I stand. Not to mention I've ended up with close to 20l pots/bags now. Whatever size those PnP bags are. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
