  1. Flip day. Mid term report. Firstly sorry for the overload of pics. 55 days since seeds put in water. 49 days since seedlings have been in soil. So I planted directly into a 10l pot and stunted growth due to soil still being waay to wet in my opinion. I carefully removed plants and repotted into smaller pots. Soil in 10l pots I spread out to dry then added extra perlite. It seems to have helped but I think the soil still stays on the damp side for a long time. Plants recovered somewhat after two weeks in the smaller pots and were repotted into the 10l pots. They still seem to be battling though. Temps max: 28.6 min: 16.4 RH max: 71 min: 39 Water 750ml once a week or so. Feed & nutes: Tried Epsom salts in the water a while back. The second last water I gave a half dose of GHE tri part. Bio neem spray every two weeks. Not very happy at this stage but on the bright side I can see a root or two popping out the bottom of the pot. I think that's everything covered.
  2. Sneak peek. Full report tomorrow morning.
  3. Those bricked up areas will be your week point to make a hole going by todays building standards. Unless you did it.[emoji16] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  4. Hey bud. If one of those walls is an external wall you could try putting in a few air holes. External wall should be a cavity wall so don't think it's only one brick thick. Builders should have duckting/air vents you can use. You can also use 110mm plumbing pipe but be sure to stuff a ball of chicken wire in it to keep out the creepy crawlies. 5. Thanks bud. 10l pots with 500-750ml water. I've got a feeling it's as you say. The roots are battling down there. I'll give the nutes a go and see what happens. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  6. Knuckle test says ok. Soil moist about an inch down. Watered lightly once the last week and a bit. Soil seems to want to stay soggy even with the extra perlite. I'm not using nutes but did add Epsom salts the last water. Hopefully get into the village soon and see what's on the shelf. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah, grow and learn hey. The hard way in my case. Would there be something off the shelf from a village nursery that I could try? Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  8. Thinking maybe my original balls up and the soil hey. Been careful with watering. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk

  10. Day 40ish. Was planning on flipping the 29th but think I'll wait a few days. Plants seem to have stagnated again. Knuckle test tells me soil is damp and not wet. Temp does drop down to 13 overnight but unfortunately nothing I can do. Daytime temps not much different. Thinking this is what is hampering the growth but might encourage colour down the line. To end it off leaves are starting to take on a yellowing.
  11. Hold that thought on the grow off. [emoji27] You ain't seen my shit yet. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  12. Looking at the other updates I had to head off to the bush pub for a tequila and some Dutch Courage aka @Totemic Haunted Kush Cake before my report. Realized once again I'm out of my depth but that's how I roll and learn. Update and pics shortly.

  14. Thanks man. I was thinking of flipping 29th this month working on +/- 70 days flowering. Looks like I can get away with a few more days veg then. [emoji16][emoji2] Happy I am. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  15. And gonna continue learning.[emoji109] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  16. Having a look through the diaries over a pint at the local bush pub I've come to a realization. I've jumped into the deep end again and found out I'm nowhere near the level required. But hey, looking and learning AND believe me I have learnt plenty so far. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk

  18. Best wishes and luck on the venture B. Covid fcuk'ed our business up and now we (wife and myself) have a massive shade house doing nothing. Have a bunch of CBD1/THC1 and some CBD/Hemp seeds we planting this season for reasons similar to yours. We started with party chocolates (THC man) but are lowering dosage as most of the people who are taking it are raving about a good night's sleep but waking up still high. Early stages but we are turning our nursery from an events and conference supplier to a herbal growing gig. Salts, oils, soaps using indigenous veld and fynbos and the mother herb. Let's talk. 19. Day 36. Short of the two week mark until flip to flower I decided what the heck. I entered the comp to learn and learn I will. T1 got a FIMM. T2 got a Topping. T3 got LST bent 90°. Temps min. 18 max. 28 RH min. 29 max. 70 Seem to have sorted out the soil by adding perlite. I have a feeling I need to cut some fan leaves off T1 and T2. Can I get confirmation on this please.
  20. Takes dedication to keep living things happy.[emoji106][emoji109] Do you re-use the tank water in the garden? Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
