  1. Already a big difference man. Looking at them this morning I decided some sort of training is on the way. Needless to say Google has way to much to say on training. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  2. WTF Mr Epsom salts. [emoji15][emoji109] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  3. The two QB75's have been switched on. The @Light It Up 240W (centre stage) is set at 160W. The two @growopz QB75's (riding shotgun) is set at 135W. If I understand correctly I have just shy of 300W on the plants, correct? Using two phones and three different apps the screenshot pictured gives an average reading with the light 550mm above plants. I'll be playing around till Sunday on the light heights and settings on the 240W. I say Sunday cause Sunday I decide on biting the bullet and consider training.
  4. Thanks. Think it's got more to do with@Totemic genetics hey. Sure, I propagate and work with indigenous plants but looking over the grow threads one thing stands out. Just about everyone who had a kak start or some bad luck have had a good comeback with minimal effort. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  5. Oh, and I added perlite to the mix. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  6. Day 32 if my math is correct. 11 days since the plants have been in smaller pots and roots started pushing out bottom of pots. Soil dried to a nice consistency and cinnamon powder added as I found wiggly worms that are definitely not earthworms. All 3 lights will be running from today so I'll be figuring out heights etc for the rest of the week. Training, still not sure if I should attempt it. Lack of experience the main problem. Water using borehole water ph 6.5 - 6.7. Spray a little Biogrow bioneem every 2 weeks or so from now on. Man. These plants have bounced back nicely.
  7. Morning all. Thought I'd start today with a fat Haunted Kush Cake spliff. Dried and been in the jar about two weeks. Still a bit unsure how to explain the smell. When I dunk my nose in the jar it's kinda fruity then a hint of citrus after it's passed through the grinder. Nice high, no couch lock for me. Clear head and just want to get up and do things now. From 25 plants after a few bud rot chucks ended up with 79.09g. 3.2g/plant from a 3l pot. Not great but I'm chuffed. Learnt a lot this season and have double the space available in the shade house now. Already collecting and prepping for the coming season. I'll post some porn later.
  8. Day 28. Hindsight hey. Looking back I should have stuck to the basics instead of jumping in the deep end and planting into final pot. Plants have bounced back and looking good I think. Due for a check for any bugs etc and a nervous watering tomorrow. Temperature in the cabinet sitting between 29-24 degrees during the day and has dropped as low as 13 degrees overnight. RH is all over the place between 43-59. Two @growopz QB75's added to the cabinet and waiting for the switch to be flipped. As for the soil I have added perlite and a small amount of vermiculite, flushed then spread on plastic to dry ever so slightly. While picking said soil up I noticed what I was hoping to be baby earthworms but is probably the start of gnats. Time to bring out the CINNAMON. According to my calculations I have 17 days left before flip to allow for the recommended +/- 70 days for flower. I'm gonna need help now guys. I think I'll have to wait at least a week before replanting into final pot. Can I start some sort of LST now before replanting? Probably not but need to ask. And most of all I'm gonna need guidance in any sort of training if still possible in my present situation as I am totally overwhelmed by what Google has to say.
  9. What part of the country do you harass the locals and what size driver you need? Got a Meanwell NS-100 something up for loan if you Cape Town side. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  10. I can sort of understand how things may have gone pear shaped. Me for example have difficulty explaining myself in writing. I come across as a blunt prick which I am some times but if you know me you would not be offended. Most of the heated threads I've read on this forum have started from one person's understanding versus the next and hey, debate is good but people need to live and learn and move forward with positivity and knowledge. Saying that, I have also seen members arguing come to a consensus by the end of most threads. Keep the good vibes going all. Fuck, we need it during these tough times. 11. Dude! This is one of the reasons I joined this forum over others. I spent close onto a year silently following. I would Google shite, cross reference shite, look for other sites to cross reference shite and then 420 search for opinions and actual experience. If someone doesn't want advice and claims the sky is clear when it's overcast, their loss. Look, listen, steal with your eyes and take in all info even if you don't agree, catalogue then decide on your next move, that's my approach. Keep up the good threads man, I for one am learning tons. 12. OK, so a SOG is your whole grow area filled to the sides with plants. A SCROG is your whole grow area filled to the sides with plants but held up by a net. I've recently done a 33 plant grow spaced close to each other in my shade house. Is that considered a SOG? Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah man. Had to constantly check for these red buggers. Luminous green ones luckily preferred the wild dagga I planted in the same area. On the reservation we try not to use pesticides as we have soo much wild life that would be infected. Outdoors I just plant more than necessary and offer one or two plants as sacrificial plants and hope for the best. Minimal problems in the shade house though. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  14. Load shedding. Had to pull out the riot tazer and some torches. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  15. Have you come right with a light yet? Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  16. 25 days since I planted directly into 10l pot and almost succeeded in killing them. 3 days since I repotted into smaller pots and I seem to have pulled a rabbit out of the hat. Plants seem to be bouncing back some what. Do you think it's the Epsom salt light foliage spray I gave them @iGrowDagga? I've decided I'll be inviting my two QB75's to the party. One either side the 240W and dial them to what will be optimum lighting or close to for my 900mm x 900mm area. As far as training goes I'm stumped as I think time has run out. Not sure. Will see.
  17. The girls have perked up. Little update to follow tomorrow. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  18. Still with the Just Cannabis soil. Unfortunately not able to get something else at the moment. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  19. Update. It's been 48 hours since I replanted into smaller pots. Pics 1-6 were taken yesterday. Last pic taken now after minimal watering. Looking promising but lets give it a few more days.
  20. Sitting here thinking. Do you guys think I should flush this soil now and then let it dry.
  21. Week 3 to the day. Plan was to start LST today. Attempts to dry my soil does not seem to be working so I decided to down pot. Carefully loosened soil rolling the pot and supporting the plant like a futhermucker. Couldn't grab the camera as the little one was supervising but soil was wet. Roots had managed to push out by 30 - 40mm only. Decision made. Gotta save the babies as they were dying a slow death anyway. Water dripped through fingers when squeezing.
  22. LED torches. Gotta try. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  23. [emoji106][emoji111] You may still want to consider a ' how the fcuk did he keep that plant alive ' badge. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  24. Now that I see an actual reading on the temps in the cabinet all I can say is if you don't have a thermometer, get one. Realizing my main reasons for not having successful indoor grows was not understanding the environment control. Learning very fast. Thanks dudes. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  25. I've known the risks of planting directly into final pot and usually very careful with the prep work. Take the good with the bad I suppose. Since getting the thermo and drilling a few holes in the side of the pot seems to have helped. My cabinet was way to cold with the top half open which hampered the pot drying. Nice and cosy now and the plants seem to have a new breath of life. I'll post a few pics soon. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
