  1. Much clearer now. Colloidal silver is the one that's debatable then. Have a friend calling it a hoax. Back to the reading. Thanks for the early morning lesson. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  2. Okay. If only google could explain it in such a simple way. Is it the same as colloid silver (can never remember correct name) or a different chemical make up altogether? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  3. STS? Excuse my ignorance. So you still need a male plant or does the STS do something to the female genes? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  4. Egg or the chicken question. Which came first? Jokes aside. I've been reading up on producing feminized seeds, not that I'll be going down that path for some time. It's I just love the plant and reading and learning new things about is my chill time. Some say colliade ?? silver yay and some say nay. Old school way sounds complicated. Still don't understand what I read. Any opinions? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  5. I'll figure out how to attach links sometime.[emoji3525][emoji3525] The site below is not the one I was referring to, can't find it now but similar in the history. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  6. I'll try and find the article. Interesting read. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  7. The story I've read while researching the origins of OG is something along the lines of. Dude was growing or knew the breeder that was growing along the California coast, some real good stuff. So this dude was sitting around at a party smok'n up a storm and recognized his strain/flavour. Asks the question ' hey where's this stuff from '? Guy replies it's Mountain Grown. Dude answers back ' na, it's Ocean Grown, it's my strain '. Fack or fiction? There are so many different opinions but above and Original Gandsta are the two main arguments. 8. Week 6 Once again I've managed to jumble up the pics. I'm a little embarrassed about the indoor shots as they are pre water pics. I might be developing a nutrient deficiency on top of the bad pics. Slight yellowing of the leaf edges. Bottom leaves for now. Other than that plants are happy. Shade house looking good although I pulled the first male today.
  9. Dunno? Toofless Alien kept drawing my gaze back to it. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  10. I've still got a week or two I think as she's been in flower 9 weeks now. Glamberry from @Bay Seeds. Gonna have to invest in a looking gadget of sorts. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  11. Morning all. What tell tale signs would let you if it's time to chop if one does not have access to microscopes or a decent zoom on the camera? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  12. Good to see you again. Life hey. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  13. Sorry about the slow postal service guys. A few pics from this morning. Can't wait. I just brush by the plant in the morning and the smells linger in the air and on me. Need to bottle this. Glamberry for 24 hour freshness. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  14. Yep, super dense buds. Thinking next weekend might be chop time. Eyeballing her everyday as I don't have gadgets to check. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  15. Every morning man, every morning I walk into the shade house and hope. She's been in flower 9 weeks. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  16. https://joumasesoil.github.io/shop/ Didn't know how to link this to the thread on soil discussion. Hope it finds it's way there. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  17. Reading through the posts now I see plenty of brands and prices being mentioned. The soil I get is called Joy Ma Se Soil at R150/30l the last time I bought. I think he has a website. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  18. I've stopped making my own soil as I have found a guy in Cape Town that supplies me now. He's done his research and is continually developing his product. Message him, he delivers. Hastle free. Not sure if I can mention him, rules and what not. On my second grow with his soil now and plants are happy. Two of my friends have recently changed from FF to his soil. 19. Thanks bud. Yeah quite the master piece. Gonna initiate it with Glamberry from @Bay Seeds in a short while. [emoji1786][emoji109] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  20. Week 5 The pics seemed to have gotten jumbled up. Sure you guys will figure out which is indoor and outdoor. On the indoor 4 plants are a bit smaller. Other than that all plants are looking pretty healthy. Outdoor grow also starting to take shape. It's been interesting watching the two grows although outdoors is a week behind. Development of the plants have been a lot slower. I'm lucky to have the space to run multiple grows at a time so seeing the difference between plants in various soils, pot sizes and environments has been a huge learning curve for me. Found a local soil guy who's product I'm very happy with. Joy Ma Se Soil. R150/30l comes in at the same price as me making my own soil and he delivers. I prefer working smart instead of working hard. Some may say lazy, I say more time available for planting and maintenance.
  21. The parcel arrived at my Cape Town address some time back. Had it brought up to the reservation this morning. This thing is a piece of art man. Thanks a ton Pass The Dutch. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  22. I literally saved R10 here R50 there. You'd be surprised at how quick it adds up. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  23. Just looked at the link properly. 45w, is that correct. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
