Sorry guys, buggered that one up posting in 2 places. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

Hey Dank. I don't use any nutrients or foliage spray's as yet. But now that you mention it, I did have to run out and move the plants when the irrigation switched on. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

I have reconsidered, thanks man. I am still chatting with growopz to see what available diy stock he has. Managed to add a bit to the budget today so I can up the order on lights he recommended. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

Couldn't find anything on the 400w on Google. Off to check Futurama out. Hold thumbs guys. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

Yeah, they were closest to the led tube. I'm also leaning towards the transplant theory. We tend to get strong gust's of wind here so that was something to consider. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

The led I've moved is one of those tube thing's. The one in the photo is what I'm considering buying. Going for a grand. I just don't know. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

Morning Bud's. I'm heading out of the farmlands to Cape Town today and a Greensindoor quantum board 400w is up for sale. Will I be wasting a grand buying this as I really want to upgrade from cfl's. I was gonna diy for about the same price. Please help, getting really confused with so many options. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

Hey bud. They seem to be ok. I have stopped taking them on the daily outing to the sun rays just in case it was the breeze or temperature difference. I also have a led tube light that may have been burning them so that has also been raised a bit.

Now my buddy has found this in the garage. Is this an HPS that I keep on been told about? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

Thanks bud. Yeah, I have a Mean Well Nes-100-24 power supply ( not the greatest ) which I was thinking is a savings on the budget. Growopz is checking stock on led bars then hello diy central. I want to get next set up done as good as possible so you Peep's on the forum are gonna get a whole lot more questions. Always appreciate people sharing advice. A rare thing now days. Male or female
West Coast Vaper replied to West Coast Vaper's question in General Questions & Answers
I've probably got the happiest rabbits in Cape Town. The critters are continually trying to get into my garage/grow room. -

Yeah, wasn't gonna chance it. Already given the plant to the pet rabbits. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk -
Male or female
West Coast Vaper replied to West Coast Vaper's question in General Questions & Answers
Should I consider that. The seeds I was originally given were meant to be feminized Jack Berry which I've grown outdoors the last 2 seasons. This lot come from the few seeds I got from the last grow. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk -
Morning Bud's. My 1 out of 15 plants turned out male. I have been keeping an close eye on the plants and noticed the balls yesterday. The rest are looking like they could all be female. [emoji16] Now the question is, how will I be able to tell the difference once the pollen bag has popped? I don't know whether to cry or jump with joy because I definitely need to upgrade to LED's now. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

Something worth reading
West Coast Vaper replied to West Coast Vaper's topic in Organic Growing - Growing in soil
I agree. I have been reading up soils and an additive will help speed up the process. I kinda like these discussions as once again all good info to keep growing well. -

Ok, I'm back. No, cinnamon will not nullify the mycoroot. Mycorrhizae fungi is found in most soils but sometimes need help finding the roots, that when you can help with mycoroot. Did a quick search and not only was the landlady correct but found that cinnamon is also a pretty good alternative to rooting hormone. As to do with gnats, cinnamon kills the fungi that attracts them and sprinkled on top of the soil acts as a deterrent. Man. Feels like I'm back at school. Learnt a bit today. Easy there on the technical stuff, I'm new to indoor game remember. On the serious side, I asked the landlady and she got even more technical than you. The soil I get from them is a recipe they came up with over years for their propagation operation and works well with their fynbos. Not exactly an answer but I'll ask again for a layman's explanation.

Cinnamon ( the powder ) acts as a natural fungicide, a little bit of not so useless information I found out the other day. The only time I've seen gnat's is on Google. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

Hey bud. This is more of a question to others reading this, I'm new myself. While researching my curly and brown leaves I read that bark is a no no as it releases nitrogen or something. And is that a leca pebble I see. Leca in soil will retain moister, that much I know as I use it occasionally at my nursery. I may be totally wrong. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

Sounds promising. Holding thumbs they all female.
