80K? wtf, how much would it cost if you built your own?

So about four weeks ago we had a harvest and I gave 2 of my friends a few wet trimmed branches of freshly harvested plants to dry and cure on their own. I'm at about two weeks since placing them into jars and burping twice a day. They are really smelling yummy and I will probably start smoking them soon. So we are at his house for a braai and he brings out his jar and its smells like shit. Like cheap outdoor. I realized after talking that he only dried it for a week before placing it into a jar. He said after he put it in the jar it got wet again and again so he would throw it onto a tray to dry for a few minutes every time. He also burped the jars twice every day. You're better of overdrying weed than jarring it with too much moisture in the bud. When you close that jar you lock in the moisture. Big companies freeze-dry cannabis and then jar them with 2-way humidity packs. Just trust me on this one. Dry the plants till you can easily snap the stems. Not kink, not click. Dry snap. You want to slowly dry the plant until it's ready to jar.

Im really concidering switching to only coco or hydro. Just seems easiest to measure. With soil there is always at least one fuckup during the grow.

I dont know how much of each nutrient is in my new soil. So after I mix in my perlite and vermiculite I do an aggresive flush untill most of the water soluble nutrients are flushed or leeched out. Every time you will get a lower reading on the runoff until the ppm gets to about 300ppm. I then just start a brand new feeding scedule with new nutrients in ph corrected water.

Save money on soil and get these two. Takes the guesswork out and you can dial in the soil. I got 200L of soil at R21 per bag of 20L at my local Agri. The tap water in my area is 170 - 200 ppm and 7.9 pH. Get a big container and make a large amount of 6.0 pH water and nutes at 800 - 1000ppm. Flush your new soil with a hosepipe outside until the runoff is 300 - 400ppm. Then water with the new batch of pH corrected water. Getting a pH pen speeds this up a bunch, but the drops work fine. Paying for FF OR OLX soil just gets too expensive in the long run. My Darkstar seedlings got burnt to shit with orgasoilux and I just decided fuck that. Buying your own perlite and vermiculite still works out cheaper.

Putting Anastasia 99 regular auto seeds in the spots that open up. @TotemicGhost Train haze x Slurricane The purple plants look great, keeping clones. But the green pheno is much stronger and has something special, its terp profile is pure gas, like burnt rubber, pig farm, pig shit tipe smell. Very impressed. You can smelll that it will cure out very nice.

You can put 2-4 babies per pot, then pull any males when you spot them.

Duck Auto by Dutch passion doing ok, spraying her daily with 42ppm colloidal silver instead of sts. If I get one seed of her i would be happy. The Darkstars didnt respond well to going into new soil, moved them to a cooler part of the garden. You will need to store the pollen in the fridge after letting it dry for a few days, shake the plant over a piece of flat glass like a mirror and use a card to collect the pollen. Probably better to just keep you fav male from the next batch.

Haha ok cool, im sure they will do better if you start them soon. Do u have a spot where you can grow a bunch in soil. Not pots. Hundreds together? This section was panted 2 week after the bottom picture. If you start autos now they will get much bigger than these.

Those seeds look beautifull and fully developed. Please keep a few for me. Im sure crossing it with totemics chocolate gelato will create a very cool unique genetic thats very fast flowering.

The autos are finishing niclely and the new seeds will launch soon. Harvested 2 of the Strawberry cheesecake autos and started building a few retail packs.

Il get you a freakshow if i can successfully do this s1 cross. I heard it loses the trait even if you do an s1. I hope they are wrong otherwise I'm wasting a lot of time.

Plain small red pack Rizla or zigzag, dont know why they get so much hate. I hate a joint that dies out too easily or turns brown halfway through. None of my friends agree with me.
