  4. Hi guys I successfully harvested my first grow a month ago. I enjoyed photo but wanted to try auto as well. Strains: White Widow, Northern Lights, OG Kush Indoor Grow Equipment 80 x 80 x 180cm grow tent Freedom farms soil (green bag) in fabric pots 240W Quantum Board x2 Clip on oscillating fans, x1 extraction fan Germination: 11/01/2021 Vegetative: 15/01/2021 Flower: 10/02/2021 Harvested: 25/03/2021
  5. Hey guys, I harvested a few days ago. Just wanted to thank everyone for all of their excellent advice. Will be starting x3 auto grows on the 1st of Jan :D Here are some pics from the last few days I gave them a wet trim and then dunked in water, left it outside in the shade for about 5 hours then moved them into the tent for a few days. This was when they were freshly jarred, I burp them 2-3 times a day now and try to keep humidity at 60-65% My yield was 53g wet, which I don't think is bad considering it being my first grow and the plant coming back from the brink of death haha
  6. Hi guys, a few more update pics below. Not sure about this yellow leaf, there's another one at the back of the plant. Only the big fan leaves are that colour. Any idea what it is?
  7. LOL I can't believe I didn't think of that They are on from 8am-8pm.. Would giving them 11 hours a day for the next 12 days until their schedule has adjusted work?
  8. It was so hot in CPT today that my temps got to about 28.5 in the tent, any tips for hot days? Should I turn the light down or just hope its not hot for that long? It's has been about 24.6-25 since the start of flower (and the start of spring/summer) But otherwise, here are some update pics :D I am using a half dose of bio bloom once a week, starting today lol
  9. Haha no problem, thanks man :D
  10. @Teal Smith Those autos look awesome man, thanks for the tips. I will probably LST + Lollipop, and I'll definitely try out that cinnamon trick. I don't think that I'll risk HST for my first auto grow. @Dank Ah okay thanks, will take note to be careful when watering. Just deciding whether I should use my 5l or 10l pots.. leaning toward 10l
  11. Thanks man, let me know how that goes for you. I'd also be keen on combining LST and Supercropping That first pic looks amazing man! Yep definitely going to LST Would love to hear from him, always looking to try/focus on new techniques
  12. Hi guys I ordered some more seeds from @Biltong and Budz to plant when my current grow finishes next month and was wondering if you had any tips for a first time auto grower? I am loving my photo grow and have some Joker CBD seeds that I was going to do next, but I wanted to do a few autos so that I can experience growing both types of plants. I topped my current grow twice and did lots of LST and defoliation as well as a successful recovery when she started to die off. You can see the grow diary here: But I hear that you shouldn't be giving autos too much stress and that I should only LST. Would love to top them at least once, but I am just worried about them not being able to recover in their short veg time. When I topped my current grow I hardly saw any stress, but I see genetics also play s role in that. Another question I had was about transplanting.. With this grow I went from a cup to a 5l fabric pot to a 10l fabric pot. Should I just start them in the 10l to reduce stress? Any grow suggestions would be really appreciated, willing to try some new things too. Let me know if I should change anything in my set-up: - Freedom Farms Premium Soil - 80cm grow tent - 240W Quantum LED Board - Oscillating fans + extractor fan - I water with 6.2-6.4 ph and a 1/2 dose of BioBloom once a week (during flower)
  13. @SkunkPharm Awesome thank you, will give it a shot
  14. Hey guys, so I started transitioning to flower on Friday, but gave the stunted/deficient plant to my brother so that he can veg it for a while until it is healthy again Here's an update pic
  15. Hey guys So I am currently going through my first grow and just started transitioning to flower I am using Freedom Farms Premium Classic soil (green bag) and was using BioBizz Fish-Mix for a while, using 0.5ml per liter, but my plant ended up looking like this: Since then I have just been using pure water @ 6.3-6.5 PH and everything is looking good now (gave the other plant to my brother so that he can veg it): My question is, does this soil just not need extra nutes? Or was it the nute I was using? Things seem to be going a lot easier without them, but so many people swear by it..
  16. Yep exactly! I've already learnt so much from this grow, can't wait to see my results and see how the next grows turn out
  17. Thanks guys, came close to giving up but hopefully its all relatively smooth sailing from here
  18. So about 2 days before I wanted to start flowering I saw a bit of browning on the leaves, and a day after that it looked pretty hopeless. But I flushed them and since then I've just been feeding PH'd water, no nutes, and one of them looks like normal. The other however looks stunted and I will probably end up chopping it down, or keep it in veg until my next grow's flower. 2 -3 weeks ago: Today:
  19. I do 1ml BioBizz Fish Mix per liter at the moment I just top dressed this morning with worm castings and Calcium Magnesium Nitrate
  20. Transplanted to their final pot on Monday, planning on transitioning to flower this coming Monday This picture was taken last night
  21. Decided not to top again, I have 6 colas on each plant which I think is fine. Transplanting next week to it's final pot then will transition to flower a week or two after.
