Hi Guys.. Once again I need advice on using kelpak with gh flora coco grow and bloom.. So I have been using the gh flora coco grow and bloom with Vitalinks Root stim and the results are amazing as last grow I didn't use any root stim.. this round is all the same except the added Root stim.. Plants are all double the size compared to without the root stim.. Problem is can't get vitalink root stim locally.. So I have bought some kelpak and wondering if it can be used with the gh flora coco grown and bloom ? Just want to get your guys valuable opinions please guys

Hey guys an update from fastbuds.. So ... Fastbuds are currently not shipping seeds to South Africa atm.. we are no longer on their website list of countries that they ship to. Hope they change this real soon.. and if you go to checkout there is no South Africa on the list to choose! BUT Jerry will ship my replacement out to me anyway

@Prom ok I've just got off the phone with the guys at growguru.. what a super help they have been not to forget the superb service from them, they really do go the extra mile!! So yeah basically I gotta cut of the 2pin plug and connect it directly into the co2 port on controller.. then there is a manual from the ecotechnics website explaining the configuration of the unit.. il tackle that once it all gets here tomorrow.. http://www.ecotechnics.co.uk/evolution_co2_contoller.htm https://growguru.co.za/products/co2-regulator

@prom @Dookie69 guys I'm abit lost on how to physically connect the Co2 regulator to the Co2 controller.. The regulator has a 2pin plug connected to it which goes into a 2pin socket.. I don't see any connection to connect it to the Co2 controller? What am I missing.. Please guys share any info on this ? The controller has 4 ports Power input Fan output which i won't be using Co2 output which is to be connected to regulator Stat input which i won't be using i think so far.. So do I cut the 2pin plug of the regulator and connect the wires directly to the controller Co2 output? That's what I'm thinking.. I have emailed the company asking them , who knows when they will reply

@Dookie69 thanks brother i will go with the sonoff set up as it is real time! A big thank you for your help thus far
-
@Dookie69 i do not need it to turn on or off any connected devices. Just want to be able to read the temp and humidity on my phone when am away from the grow space coz I should always be not to far from it..
-
@Dookie69 what about the one your using air comfort i see hydroponic.co.za has it for 600, should I just go for that ?
-
@Dookie69 so its says that I need to purchase the sonoff temp and humidity sensor which is a white square box and then also the zigbee bridge for it to work so that another 390.. So I just want to be able to read my temps and humidity when ever I want from where ever.. will the above do that job sonoff sensor and zigby bridge ? I'm still learning here so hence all the questions

@Dookie69 I've found a brand called Sonoff which has one for R244 which is quite a good price i think

@Dookie69 also do you have any equipment that uses wifi inside of the tent ? Why i ask is im curious about the effects of these wifi enabled this being close to my plants , like I've got a small wifi hd camera but have been hesitant to put it inside the tent as I didn't want to effect the plants in any way, lol might sound stupid but yeah
-
@Dookie69 noted brother.. are you using a wifi linked temp humidity sensor ? If so where and howmuch was it?
-
@Dookie69 aaah I hope it is.. with ac I rather have extra capacity than fall short, thanks for the info man it really does help me out

Hey guys so I got a response from fastbuds themselves about my bad batch of seeds from TROPHY SEEDS.. This is what Jerry has to say.. : I did a screem shot of his email and posted it below.. Now this is what I call EXCELLENT FUCKING SERVICE MAN! WOW I am honestly very impressed and happy , guys if time is not an issue don't hesitate to order directly from fastbuds as they quite often have double your seed promos (ive bought twice) yes the delivery is slow 2 to 3months but their customer service is next to non..

I'm hoping the 12000btu for the 3mX2.4m space is enough during lights out.. otherwise will have to get another portable ac unit to add to it..
-
@Dookie69 so since you only vent the tent into the room which is sealed except for when you open the door , I'm sure il be fine with no extraction as long as I can keep humidity low which I have a 12000btu and might consider an extra dehumidifier, what do you think? Thank you for the tip bro will definitely give the lick the washer a shot

@Wulf sacred seeds rocks and so does Merlin! Just wish their stock would arrive and I wouldn't have had to purchase from others.. So guys on the fastbuds website they have a list of distributors here in SA, Bud buddies, Tight buds, biltong and buds, sacred seeds, trophy seeds , whats your thoughts , I know biltongandbudz and sacred seeds are legit and have dealt with them Trophy ive had this current bad batch.. but they are listed by fastbuds and so shouldn't all of them be legit safe to order from ?

@Prom what wattage quantum boards you grow with ? Brand ? I love to hear how different brands are performing..ùBut more importantly what distance are you at in the different stages ?? I've seen much more frosty buds when I had my lights at like 50cm to 70cm above canopy using 320watt and 3 X 240watt boards in 5X5 @Dookie69 whats your distance from canopy?
-
@Dookie69 @Prom guys can you tell me how necessary it is to vent in a sealed room ? Do I have to vent at all? I assumed that since the plant is getting the added Co2 its not compulsory to vent .. ? Aside from when I enter the room to tend to them Btw great setup you have there @Dookie69 how often is your Co2 tent set up to extract the air inside ? I dont plan on running any extraction except for carbon filter inside near the 2 doors to the grow space.. So I hope that the Co2 controller i bought (ecotechnics) works without the extraction port connected to actual extraction system.. Oh and the Co2 regulator I bought came with 2 seals for attaching when screwing it on the tank.. thing is they seem to be abit thick and plastic ish
-
@Prom the tent im running is 1.5mX1.5mX2.2m i use to be on the international forums and all they use to measure are feet 5X5foot so got used to saying that.. The tent I won't run Co2 as they get constant fresh air.. the new grown space is actually 3mX2.4m and that's properly sealed where il add the Co2.. I've been looking at the setup manuals for the ecotechniks and all the set up have steps for adding extraction and fans to the controller. I only plan to use the co2 controller to regulate the co2 and not to control any ventilation etc hope it works out.. I honestly don't have the time to do a diary on the grow but I will keep you updated as to feedings ppms and the overall conditions etc Just need to figure out the installation part.. The guy at growguru said to call him and he will assist in setting it up as he himself used the same Co2 unit for a year and half..
-
Apologies it was bought from growguru
-
@Prom lmao you know you couldn't be more right.. I didn't sleep last night busy doing my research and came to the conclusion that I would not be able to efficiently run Co2 without a controller so I let my friends know this morning and I dropped the ball on a eco technics unit from gthydro.. hoping to have all setup by wed or Thurs..
-
I was just planning on doing a Co2 meter and manually opening and closing the Co2 regulator, i know technology will make life easier its just that I like to be hands on and in control of something, rather old skool type of thought but yeah.. some may laugh lol Mayb I'm just lazy mmm
-
Ok just added some notes to my list , thank you once again , this will save me time and my life.. both are precious after all. Well the room does have 2 sep doors opening at right angle to each other leading to two extremely well ventilated area which always has a good draft coming through.. I will indeed take extra precautions regarding the breathing in of Co2 and the ventilation of the area when working in it so thank you again. Those are all strawberrypie in the pic.. 3 different phenos from 12 plants, one fully purple , and one 50%purple50%light greenish, and one fully light green. the light green and half n half are very very similar more identical in structure than the fully purple one so basically two distinct phenos
