Thanx Kim, Yeah Im kinda glad about it! So eager to get this plant going!

I've also considered it. Just take lots of bag seed, and drop seeds everywhere....

Sup Ouens! Sorry been super busy! Baby North is doing well, still going strong. I've noticed the difference in strains of this plant verses the Swazi I initially grew, because this plant is already on its third set of leaves and still so tiny! It's almost dwarf-like. In addition, the fans and heat of the CFLs have been causing my soil to dry out, and I mean dry...like dust, barren lands dry. So I waited for a days since my last water and then did about 300ml water to penetrate all parts of the soil and not just around Base of the plant like I used to water. I also noticed one long thin root sticking out at the bottom of the pot already, where additional catch water is laying - indicating good root growth. So yeah All seems good. JGS soil has given no problems. I think il wait abit longer before switching to flowering.

Lol I don't know either. But it's experimental bag seed so I don't mind. Sent from my D5503 using Tapatalk

Thanx @Skolley! Here I realised that and stopped watering since friday. Will let soil dry out almost completely...

Day 12 - Baby North All going well, second leaves are still busy sprouting. A small friend popped out next to Baby North. Plucked it out. Growth seems abit slow or maybe I'm just too excited. Consdering getting a humidity and temp monitor, any recommendations?

Yeah CerealKilla, it helps to learn on some bag seed first. And then apply knowledge and experience to more expensive genetics Sent from my D5503 using Tapatalk

Do chem nutes belong in organics?
Heisenberg replied to Dabtzar's topic in Organic Growing - Growing in soil
Id say ORGANIC, is as close to how nature does it, as possible. That goes for lighting, watering, nutrients, soil, everything involved in the life of the plant. Id consider anything synthetic, refined or heavily processed to be non-organic. Having said that, i now realise that growing organic INDOORS isnt 100% organic since you're using artificial light... But yeah, Id suggest organic is as close to nature as possible. So NO, i dont think chemical nutrients belong in organic grows. -
Lol, whats this Join the Que? Also, is your sentence worse if you've got a bigger setup? House full of indoor VS a few plants in a cupboard?

Day 5 - Baby North I'm not sure if I've got a different batch of Organasoilux but Baby North is doing fine. She's been on a simple water-once-dry routine with freshwater aquarium water and has now been moved to 6cm away from the lights mainly for the fact that the soil is warm and dries quickly by the distance from the lights initially. @SirSmokalot I have no issues currently. As you can see, the tips of her second sets of leaves are on their way out.

The inside of the pc is wrapped in foil. So the only light that would ever enter, is throw the rear exhaust fan. But, the pc is also underneath my desk to camouflage as a normal working pc. So the amount of light eventually reading the plant is so minimal.

I also bought 50L last week Friday from Jamie! He actually advised me that I don't need to cook the soil mix BUT according to Toby's previous post in "So it begins - Feb 2015" his plants fried after transferring his to JGS Orgasoilux mix. Best would be to confirm with Toby exactly how long it took before the plants started showing signs of being over-cooked and what he did to recover it. Check out @Toby 's post here: http://www.420sa.co.za/index.php/topic,341.45.html Thanx, il read up about it. I suppose theres not much I can do now hey...

DAY 4 - 10 September Baby North is doing well, she's been moved almost against the light. Question: Should I upgrade from the 2x 23w Bulbs to 1x 150w Bulb? How will it affect my grow?
-
Mmmm now Im unsure about what I've done. I bought some Organasoilux from Jamie on friday and he didnt tell me anything about cooking. Infact, I told him that i've got a worm farm in my yard and he adviced me to dry the compost out and chuck a thick amount of it over my soil mix as a top soil and water as needed, the compost wont burn the plants in anyway. So now that my Baby North is already growing in "uncooked" soil, what am I missing out on?
