  1. Digging the mainlining you go going there Duracell[/member] . It's looking great! If this is your 1st time mainlining, don't let the colas get too long, the length gives you support problems later. My plant couldn't stand on her own.
  2. I've never tried BD, so I'm pretty amped for this. Yeah boet, that exodus haze is something else. A little goes a very long way.
  3. Awe guys. So this is my grow log which I'm sorta winging. First time I'm growing in soil. Freedom farms premium growing medium. Biobizz nutes and other goodies I bought over the last year. Took the cuts from mama on the 01/08/2017. Transplanted into pots on the 09/08/2017. Most recent pics were taken today. Here's a few snaps. Lets see how it goes... I'm having a small section tonight, my last 10g of the exodus haze Toby[/member], how did yours come out?
  4. looks fukken mad bro! Big ups! Love the diy stuff
  5. Out of curiosity, what would this setup cost?
  6. This is french to me, but i'm keen to learn. I want to to do the same thing. Automated lights, fans, temp and humidity meters. What would be the 1st thing to buy/learn?
  7. No stress bro. I'm not sure hey. I buffered a brick of coco, not promix.
  8. I tried the one in tokai last year, they had no idea what i was talking about. The search continues
  9. Congrats to you and the misses man!
  10. Simple answer @Trickerst, yes
  11. +1 on what @Toby said. If anything, less is more. Less grow medium, less water, less alles. Keep it simple. Simple = hassle free. They will tell you when something's off.
  12. AWE @Heisenberg! Long time no see brother! Yussis boet, where have you been? I pulled off a grow and smoked almost all of my harvest in the time that you've been away
  13. I was actually stoned and in an accident 3 weeks ago. Some doos on his phone drove into my arse at a stop light.
  14. I do, it's actually my favourite time to have a puff. I also don't blow my brains out. One hit wonder.
  15. LED's have so much reading. I eventually just gave growmau5 my cab dimensions and he told me which drivers to get I think modular is good, more flexible. I was gonna put both cobs on one heat sink, then i figured i won't be able to spread the light nicely. Now instead of turning my plant, i just unclip my lights and move them to the next ring.
  16. They're generic 90 degree reflectors. I have 2 drivers coz it worked out cheaper that getting one. They're driven at 50w each, so the temps are cooler, meaning more light. Also, the driver i wanted initially was outta stock Never heard of TRX... What are you building or is it a secret?
  17. Thanks man! I'm running 2 cxb3590's. 3500K CD bin, 80 CRI. I bought the parts from a guy in ct, and now he's building these lights I shoulda ordered overseas and started a grow led business. I've had one grow with them. I was very impressed with the yield and penetration.
  18. Sorry for the double post, has anyone used https://www.importitall.co.za ? I saw a vero 29 v7 for R900 @narnia
  19. Local was rough with LED tech when I built mine @narnia. Try RS components and communica. There's a guy in capetown that sells the complete setups so maybe check that out. www.makelight.co.za But if you import, I'm sure it'll be cheaper.
  20. I find this to be true GLO. Before I automated my watering I just dumped it over the top, smoked and put it back once it stopped dripping. Because my timer can only turn on/off in 1 minute intervals i had to split the watering into 2 as to not flood my saucer and cab. 2 watering 10 mins apart basically had less run off and watering was less frequent.
  21. True true... I kept my pot on some leca so it didn't sit in salty water.
  22. But that would leave the pots saturated I think. That would defeat the purpose of airpruning.
