  1. Do you wash your buds after harvest? They look lekker sparkly and clean
  2. Day 43... @Totemic, I let the pH drift as recommended. The leaves got a little worse but it seems to have stopped. Thank you for the advice. Slowly bringing her back to 5.8. Also giving calmag with every nute feed 2ml calmag to 3.8L (I half that feed and give every 2nd day). Water with calmag between feeds. Too much? Boys and girls, this is what happens when you don't buffer your coco. I read that when adjusting your pH with up or down, you shouldn't add it to your mix directly. When you do and you see your mix go cloudy, that's the calmag precipitating. I noticed this one or two times. That would probably explain why at had the lockout. Anyways, lesson learnt. Mix your up or down in a glass of water, add little bits to your mix and see what you're hitting. @Toby check my shitty looking clone/mother box, lol! I'm working on something better. I'm trying to reveg my clones coz they went into flower standing outside.
  3. Thanks @Totemic, I'll give it a try. No nutes or half measure? Does it look more like lockout to you?
  4. Morning guys. Some help please! So I've been having issues with nute burn, well at least that what I thought it was., Thursday past I flushed my plant with clean water @5.8. They've slowly gotten worse and I've only been watering @5.8 since then. Do you think it could be nute burn? A potassium deficiency? I'm not getting yellow leaves, just the burnt tips that looks to be spreading up the leaf and it's on the sugar leaves. Lower fan leaves just have the burnt tips. Any ideas?
  5. I think it's setup dependent. Mine runs 2-3 degrees above ambient, whereas HID would made my cab grow impossible without a big extractor and an AC
  6. I'm just trying to figure out how many degrees your lights are raising the temp in your tent. Like you build a box that houses your led and make that box part of your extraction system. Same way an aircooled reflector works.
  7. Awe brah, I'll be asking you a bit more. I wanna try soil for my next grow. That's interesting that there's no physical difference. Considering she's getting alot less light. You'll only be able to tell on your yield. Are you growing the same strain? Kykie, where must I leave your clones brah?
  8. I don't think I understand. What is your high and low in your garage, but outside your tent? Have you thought of boxing off your LED's and venting that. That would cancel the LED heat.
  9. I say yours coz if it wasn't for your grow log, I probably would have never tried it. That's hectic. So you'll keep the 6/18 all the way through? Did you notice any differences over your previous 12/1 grow?
  10. Sorry man, not the light cycle. The duration. I'm on 14 off now. Using your fantastic 12/1
  11. Awe, thanks @Toby. Today is day 32. Planning to harvest on the 2nd/3rd of March progress dependent. I changed the light cycle again. The trichomes packed on so much in 4 days, I thought it was going miff until I had a closer look. Just a little bummed about the nute burn.
  12. @TheGrimReefer, how are you hitting such high temps at night? Do your LED's run that hot? What's your ambient temp like? In regards to extraction, I forgot to switch my extractor on one day during the dark period, got home to a pool of water at the bottom of my cab with the humidity at 99%. There was so much water that it seeped through the joints and actually caused the chipboard to swell a little. I think you should keep the extractor going 24/7. I've also noticed that if I have my desk fan on setting 2, it pushes my humidity and temp up slightly.
  13. Thanks for the reply @Totemic. The fan leaves are killing the light so pulled the ones right at the bottom to let more light in before I saw your post. I did a flush last night, 25L water @5.8
  14. I have one of these, works well http://designerwater.com/product/digital-ph-pen/ unless you wanna get a fancy one
  15. That pH sounds about right. Mine comes out at about 9.6 after a day or 2 of standing, it sits around 7.
  16. https://hydroponic.co.za/hydroponics/activated-carbon-pellets/ they ship too
  17. Leave the filter paper, the air you're pushing out doesn't need to be clean, only odour free. Just use the pantyhose and activated carbon
  18. I can only see the last pic
  19. I made something like that with my 1st cab, lol. What a mission that was. It worked, mostly... Go for it! I'm all for the DIY in this.
  20. Day 28... She's now 1.1m from the coco to the top AND the stretch is over. This cab is the perfect height! As you can see, some nute burn that occurred in flower. I think I have it under control... Not the best pics, my wrist in buggered, so I'm operating with one hand
  21. I measured my run off, it was actually closer to 2L, so now I'll feed half a mix instead, I've been wasting nutes. Meh! The run off from 2L was +-150ml. And she was happier with that 3am feed @IanK This is what my watering thingie looks like... The air displaces the water. Airpump is mounted in the box on the top of the cab, the airline runs down into the bottle, there's another line in the bottle that goes to my "sprinkler" The run off goes into the saucer, down the pipe, the pipe goes out the cab through the vent and into a ice cream container. No mess, no fuss. I'm thinking of making another one to dispense the nutes.
  22. 3.8L for one plant. From that I get about 1L runoff. I'm growing in coco/perlite in a airpruning pot, so it dries alot faster, also, I have monster roots. She drinks like a hobo at a open bar.
