Lights on at 18H00, off at 04H30 for now. I feed at 18H00 and when I get home the following day, the coco is dry and the leaves are wilting. So I water once more just before lights out. So tonight I'll see if there's an improvement.

I made mine using an air pump instead of a water pump. A water pump pushes too liquid in a 1 minute interval. The airpump displaces 1L of water every 59 seconds. So now that I have that input, I can feed using a timer. Water to runoff occurs daily at 18H00 (3.8L), 1L top up at 03H00. Hopefully the leaves wont wilt by the time I get home on the hot days. That I'll see this evening. Ideally I'd like to run 2 tanks, one with feed, one with water so I can alternate feeds. I made mine in the shape of a ring around the base of the plant with 5 watering points, so she gets watered properly. I'll snap a pic or two tonight.

Ok, I made up a system that works on a timer, it waters once a day between feeds. Once I have a bigger storage tank I'll stop hand watering altogether.

I'l have to see what kind of setup i'm going to try. As you can see, there is not enough space in the grow box, so the air scrubber will have to be placed outside the grow box. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk If you put the scrubber on the outside and cap the other end, wouldn't it work?

Thanks for the advice @alemo, I'm not gonna bother with the molasses. I'll stick to my schedule. Amino mix once a week or every second week? I've read that a few guys drop the micro by week 5, then just feed bloom. What do you think? Day 21..

Awe bra, that cab looks sweet! The strength of the smell depends on the strain. I've read that Northern Light doesn't give off much of a smell unless disturbed. The carbon will get rid of it. Can't you gippo the scrubber somehow to go outside??

Howzit guys. I'm curious. Do any of you have an automated water delivery system? I'm looking to do something along theses lines coz there are days when I'm not home and my plants suffer. It's gotta be small scale. If you have a system in place, lets see it or hear your ideas.

Awe bud, do you know the rating of your fan? I tried something similar, but my fan isn't strong enough so it was getting warmer than I'd like. I'm using a 120mm, 87 cfm fan. Anyways, this is what I did. It might work for you. Check my thread, http://www.420sa.co.za/index.php/topic,969.msg8708.html#msg8708 you'll see the box I made that houses the fan. At the other end of the ducting have a cardboard box that it dumps the humid smelly air into. In the lid of the box I have a small dish that I cut the bottom out of, replaced the base with pantyhose and put a layer of carbon in there. A stronger fan would obviously be better, but this works for me. The box houses all my wiring, blocks the light leak from the ducting, muffles the humming of my fans a shit load and makes the cupboard "fit in more". In my garage the db reading with everything off is 54, with the fans on and the cab door open it's 76, with the cab door closed it's 57.

That I can't tell you. I don't own an EC pen. She is picky, I've lowered my micro nutes by 2ml and she seems to be liking that more. I've read a few posts that molasses fattens your buds and makes her produce more resin. Some swear by it, others say it messes with the grow.

Why not molasses @alemo? Also, I've noticed when I fed with CalMag (no nutes) last week, the tips burnt. I used 1/2 tsp to 3.8L @5.8

17 days in and she's looking good... I'm feeding nutes every day, what do you guys think about alternating feeds, one day nutes the next day molasses?

She's on day 12 SSA.

@alemo, I pinched the tops that were growing much faster and the others are catching up. Thanks for that man. What can I use to fatten up my buds once they start developing? I'm using nutriplex to feed.

Awe boet, I started feeding when the 1st set of true leaves were out. I'm using the lucas formula that @cheese420 put me onto. 3ml micro and 4.5ml bloom to 3.8L water for seedlings and cuttings. Worked out well. Just make sure you're feeding at 5.8 or as close as possible.

She's healthy as fuck dude, I have to raise my lights everyday. I still have about 30cm before I have to start worrying

Morning folks. I've been a bit busy, December and all. This is what's been up recently. Currently on day 3 of flower. Also, I bought a propagator!

Vertically I can go up another 1m. I don't think she'll grow out much more on the sides.
