Maybe you could make like a "shelf" of sorts that could hang from the side of your tent? Like a pvc frame that hooks onto the top part of the tents frame and then that has a platform you can screw the base of the fan to, but upside down? Excuse my shitty paint skills, this is my idea, you could also raise or lower it by changing the lengths of the piping.

So I just finished smoking the last of my 1st harvest... I think I did well with the curing and drying. Wet weight was 14.5g, dry weight was 3.2g. Strain was unknown bagseed.

The smoke was very smooth, actually one of the smoothest smokes I've had. All my stoner friends confirm that it was great skyf, just the taste was a bit weak. I don't know if you guys ever tasted those cheap pink sweets that you got in those old school "Lucky packets" the corner shop used to sell? That's what it tasted like. Like a musk sorta taste. The bud smelt citrusy when you broke it.

The high was mellow, but not like "I wanna sit and veg", it was more of a "let's mission" buzz. Wasn't very potent though, lasted about an hour and a half.

So ja, I think I'm hooked on growing now.

I'm not hating on the entries, the bud shots are stellar! But don't we already have a thread for bud shots? I feel like this comp shouldn't have JUST bud shots, if it does, make it creative? This is a weed forum, weed will always win. Just my :thumbups

Ja, that works too. I had a small dish with a similar mix right in front of the sticky trap. That and watering less often got rid of them.

@cheese420, if I was to choose between the MR insecticide and the h202 bombing, I'd go with the h202. My plants looked alot better after the h202 compared to the MR. Also, the fungus gnats vanished, 2 weeks later I found another fly, so I used the h202 again.

Shot @Skolley, I hear you. I've been doing some reading, read some horror stories in regards to Lumii 400w magnetic ballasts. It's only a handful, but I think I'll wait it out. Besides, you have a digital ballast, I want one too

@alemo, I was over watering in coco, apparently once a day was too much. I think we could change watering schedules, but you'd have to do it according to your growing climate and plant maturity. My girls initially did well with once a day, then not so much. Switched to every second day and at the end, once every third day. If your climate is exactly the same, day in and day out it would be easier I think.

Ok, I get that the 400w would be a better buy in the long run. I was just thinking if it's a 1 plant grow, 400w would be over kill, but ya'll obviously know better! So thanks for the pointers. 

My budget was R2500. I need a ballast, hps bulb and a simple reflector. So my next grow will have to wait a bit.

Update on the process... Lots and lots and lots of airy popcorn Lesson learnt, chop more buds lower down. A few decent buds. Definitely need to improve next grow. Here's some pics.

On that subject, I need some advice. I'm looking at changing my lighting. With the CFL's I had some high temps and RH issues. My new cab will be 57cm wide, 60cm deep and 192cm high. Thoughts please guys? Should I build my grow around what I buy or the other way around?

Ok, I'm not hijacking, just we're on this topic now... 250w mh, 250w hps and 250w digital ballast for 1 plant for personal consumption. Stupid idea? Stick with CFL's?

Ladies and gents, it's official. I'm not a fan of harvesting. It took me 4 hours to chop, trim, wash and hang. Next time I'll aim for the weekend.

So I had 2 plants, Alice gave me 270g after trim/before wash. The other gave me 85g. I'm curious to see the final weight coz the other plant is mostly stem and popcorn.

Thanks boys. Next grow will be alot better with less user error and known genetics. I don't think this was bad considering I used CFL's. Speak after harvest :thumbups

Shot for the pointers @Skolley. I meant to say I've been feeding at 5.8 since the H202. Since I got the pH pen I have been feeding at different values according to the uptake chart I found. Read up on CEC, it's quite a bit to take in, but I'm getting there.

I just did my final flush now so I can chop next week. Sorry for the blur pic, the wind was blowing a bit and I used my phone.
