Definitely need to improve next grow. Here's some pics. On that subject, I need some advice. I'm looking at changing my lighting. With the CFL's I had some high temps and RH issues. My new cab will be 57cm wide, 60cm deep and 192cm high. Thoughts please guys? Should I build my grow around what I buy or the other way around? Ok, I'm not hijacking, just we're on this topic now... 250w mh, 250w hps and 250w digital ballast for 1 plant for personal consumption. Stupid idea? Stick with CFL's?

Ladies and gents, it's official. I'm not a fan of harvesting. It took me 4 hours to chop, trim, wash and hang. Next time I'll aim for the weekend. So I had 2 plants, Alice gave me 270g after trim/before wash. The other gave me 85g. I'm curious to see the final weight coz the other plant is mostly stem and popcorn. Check my bonsai!

Thanks boys. Next grow will be alot better with less user error and known genetics. I don't think this was bad considering I used CFL's. Speak after harvest :thumbups

Shot for the pointers @Skolley. I meant to say I've been feeding at 5.8 since the H202. Since I got the pH pen I have been feeding at different values according to the uptake chart I found. Read up on CEC, it's quite a bit to take in, but I'm getting there. I just did my final flush now so I can chop next week. Sorry for the blur pic, the wind was blowing a bit and I used my phone. Morning folks. I need some advice. As you know, I have these 2 plants in late flower, but facing constant issues. So I've come to the conclusion that they're root bound AF and that's why shit seems to go south all the time. I can't change the pots, I'm over the 100 day mark. My leaves (fan and sugar) are drying out and dying, it looks like a CalMag deficiency (rust spots and dry, crispy leaves), but they're getting CalMag, I'm feeding at half strength every second day, (full strength burns the leaves since middle flower). Also, the trichome production is very very slow. Coco is like 80% dry when I feed. I've tried leaving it for another day, but then the plants look like it's done for. RH range is between 45 and 70%. pH in is always 5.8 and runoff has been 6.1/6.2 since the H202. There's no smell from my runoff and the pots drain out fairly quickly. Do I let it go longer or call it a day?

Shot @Toby. I'll follow your way. My bud's looking lekker, but still smelling like grass. Hopefully the good smells will stiek uit soon.

So I'm on week 2 of drying and curing, the RH in the jar goes between 63 and 66%, should I let the buds air? How long and how often? I know I should be between 60 and 65%. So do you even burp the jars when you're in the cure zone?

Lol, thanks man. But i'm still waiting. The 2 sativa's only started producing trichomes worth looking at recently. As for the baby indica, I'm excited to hit that shit. 1 month cure in progress. Only +-3g though

Welcome GTHydro! Quick question on Nutriplex. If i mix up a batch today, can it be used 2 days later?

I'd say it was maybe an hour or 2 from too dry... Usually if I don't water by 10pm, this ones leaves started drooping alot. I chopped her at 7 or 8.

Yeah it's more work, but it makes sense to wash something before you consume it. Also, It was grown in a cab with filters and shit, so the exchange was pretty clean, but there was still some debris floating on the water. So my advice, just do it. It does take some time to dry with that small pc fan though.

Thanks @TrailBlazer. I ran it for a few hours with the lid open just to dry the excess water from the wash, when the buds where dry to the touch I turned the fan off again.

Morning folks, So last night I chopped my small lady. Tried out that bud washing business that was recently posted. My skyf looks and smells lekker. Note to self, get a decent pair of scissors! Yes, the trim job came out a bit kak, but overall I'm pretty chuffed with my 1st harvest. So because the other 2 ladies are still going, I had to make a drying box with what I had. Not my worst idea... Check it

Morning folks. What's your thoughts on bud to jar ratio while curing? I've read that some folks prefer medium sized jars over big ones.
