  1. Update, Day 79 - No more gnat flies, necrosis of the leaves have stopped. I've been watering every second day since the H202 bombing. The ladies are looking much happier with less water. The small plant presented me with a lovely nanner on sunday so I decided to start the flushing process coz they're all in the same cab, she also looks like she's starting to die. The 2700K cfl's play tricks on your eyes, I see the trichomes have started going amber on the small one. Sorry for the blurry pics, they're taken with my phone. Thanks @Skolley for the help with the root rot and the flies!
  2. Yusso! I love it! I need to get a proper setup! Beautiful Toby!
  3. Shot Skolley. Next feed on saturday. Lol, know chemo pretty well, if this is chemo for my babies, then I'm terribly sad. Funny story, I put up a new sticky trap under the scrog after bombing, a minute later I looked under there for something and it caught it's 1st bastard... ME! Hahaha! That shit it really sticky! Sticky trap stuck to my bless.
  4. Yeah it did, is that a good or a bad thing? Gave each plant 1.5L, total runoff after 5 mins was just over 1.5L combined.
  5. Pity about that nanner bro, I woulda loved to see some purple buds.
  6. Hahaha! I just finished off now. I'm actually quite stressed. So I just bomb them once right? When the crop's ready, I'll leave a fat bud somewhere and send you the location
  7. I'm not gonna wait. Gonna hit them with the H202 now. I'm using de-chlorinated tap water, so I'll pH before I water. Thanks again @Skolley
  8. I think I'm gonna switch to watering every 2nd day @Skolley, I've noticed that the pots aren't as light as they were when we had warmer days. Maybe this is why I have this issue now? The H202 should get here shortly. It's 50% strength, 5ml to 3L. Should I pH the water? I've read a few posts on ICMag and rollitup that I should let the medium dry out more than usual before using the H202, to the point where the plants start to wilt. Apparently it aids with drying the fungus and killing the bacteria. What's your thoughts on that procedure? GLO, I dropped this bladdy thing at work so many times, the stand is completely busted. Never got around to making a new one. But I'll use your method next time I inspect. :thumbups @Heisenberg, shot bra. I'm trying, next grow will be better! With less kak.
  9. Shot for the advice @Skolley, yeah, that's what those buggers look like, but smaller, they kinda skeem over the water. So an h202 flush? I also sniffed the runoff, smells like nothing, so if it's rot, it can't be that bad yet right?
  10. @Skolley, check here man. I think this is mostly the fungus gnats that's causing the kak. I bombed them lastnight, I'm gonna bomb them on friday again. Bastards. I haven't seen a fly in my cab since last week, but I checked these tiny grey/black goeters moving around in my run off. Tonight there was only one, on tuesday there were about 10. They're too small to photograph with my phone. The other thing, do plants tend to burn more easily closer to the end of flower? The leaf tips are curling up and looking kak. Also, today is day 73 and not one amber trichome yet. Can that have something to do with my humidity issue? I used a digital usb microscope to take the pics of the trichomes, but I couldn't hold it steady enough.
  11. Ja @Skolley, I know I have fungus gnat issues, but I think I have a rootbound plant too. I wish they'd just finish already. I'll update my grow log now then you can see. Thanks @420SA for the input!
  12. Morning guys, What sort or symptoms do you see on a rootbound plant during flower?
  13. Shot, thanks boet. I got rid of the gnats with https://hydroponic.co.za/hydroponics/margaret-roberts-biological-mosquito-insecticide/ and pasted those yellow sticky traps in the cab. Seemed to work well. No flies on the traps though, but I did find 2 dead ones in the cab. Reason I suspect a boron deficiency is coz of the symptoms, my run off pH is also constantly 6.4. So I stopped feeding at 5.8 and started at 5.5, runoff pH was on 6.1 lastnight, so I wanna see what happens. Anyways, I'll monitor the situation and report back.
  14. Awe @Skolley. The stretch is over and the fattening has started. They're starting to topple over. I've cleared the smallest buds over the last week. On the downside, I've been fighting with gnat flies, humidity and now I've got what looks like a Boron deficiency. I got that solenco unit in the cab, draws +- 150ml over 3 days, but the RH is still high. Day 67, this is what's klapping.
  15. Thanks @cheese420! Lets see you get a badge this month Your ladies are looking lovely!
  16. Haha, third time lucky! Thanks guys and @420SA!
  17. Thanks @420SA. Here's my ladies. You can sorta see which is which when you look at the buds. Strains unknown. Day 52. Sorry about the quality, old phone and a shakey hand.
  18. Can't enter them then @420SA, 1 scrog, 2 plants.
  19. I know that when air is propelled, it heats up, so that would make the humidity rise coz the plants transpire more? Well that's my theory anyways. Also, the fan generates some heat too. I'm gonna order that Solenco unit tomorrow. I wonder if you just get a shit load of that silica granules and spread it out in the cab if it would make a difference? Coz that's what's inside that unit. The charger heats a plate in the middle of the unit and that dries the granules again. I thought the cab would be perfect for winter, yet it seems to be problematic now... In summer it's too hot and in winter it's too humid.
  20. The humidity in the cab @Skolley. RH is between 50 and 65% during lights on (night time). Temps vary, at night it's constant 24. During the day, it's the same as whatever temp it is outside. The RH in lights out sometimes hits 85%. I am in CPT and you're right, I've seen the RH gradually climb over the last two weeks. Strange bit of info, when the circulating fan is off and the extractor is on, the RH is quite a bit lower, but when both are on, the RH goes up into the 60's.
  21. I'm not sure if I asked before @420SA, but can I enter 2 plants in one pic? In the meantime, here's my offering. This is another random bean that went from seed straight into flower in a 4cm pot. I have no idea when I planted it though.
  22. There was too much goodness going on there to be taking pics guys. I wonder how they got that right with the coppers?
  23. It's going lekker ne! looking good sir :thumbups
  24. I think I'll trim them down a bit more this evening. I've been feeding molasses on thursday's, so by tuesday/wednesday the runoff is alot lighter so I figure the plant may have used most of it by then. Since adding molasses to their diet, the sugar production has increased somewhat. I'm struggling with humidity since day 1, do you think this is viable? http://www.solencosa.co.za/shop-online/dehumidifiers/cupboard-dehumidifier#1
