@PsyCLown Well i cant say for sure how much truth there is in this story but the one thing that im absolutely certain of is that theres a lot more bullshit than truth and none of it in Just Cannabis's favour either Because how the fuck do they go & respond (on record nogal) making the claim that the product is substandard but because their supplier refused to do anything therefore UK company is in breach of contract - thats pure bullshit for 2 simple reasons 1.) they continued to sell the substandard product at a premium price - R180 for 30lt is pretty up there --- so one things for sure if they didnt fuck over their supplier they fucked over their customer and in my books if you capable of doing one its likely you done both 2.) breaching a contract doesnt mean you get the keep the shit AND still not pay for it - go breach your home loan and see if the bank gives you any money back so i mean instead of REFUSING to sell a substandard product they rather doubled down, packaged & marketed the subspar goods as their own inhouse premium brand with a premium price so i mean it begs the question if the soil is subpar then why continue scamming end users by claiming its premium and if its not subpar then why the fuck dont you just pay your invoices like the rest of us and stop giving the country a bad name. @Chris Jay yeah, but shame this Pommie still thinks he's getting paid though....someone never explained to him what a "ya bru" is lmao

LOL - what soil are we talking about here though? all the say was that it was substandard coco peat? Kudo's to the journalist for using "Dagga growers" as clickbait lol it became pretty obvious us growers have nothing to do with the story so whether the end users of the soil were nuns growing roses or dagga koppe growing mad nugs is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT but i must say it was an interesting read so thanks for that My 2c = If this UK business man brings a suit against them these guys are fucked, its gonna take a long time but as long as the UK supplier doesn't give up/get gatvol of paying for lawyers these guys are screwed, i must say he's an idiot for sending that stock without having secured a deposit or at the very least having the buyers sign surety in their personal capacity as collateral in the likely event he wasnt paid (I say likely because its clear this is his first time dealing with south africans) Whats funny though is how the buyers are now claiming breach of contract & the product was substandard (both of which are possible) but they never returned the product or attempted to rectify the issue so if the product was infact substandard which i doubt because no one spends over a million for subpar stock & starts a new company to sell that same subpar stock so its starting to look pretty obvious like suggested in the piece that the newly registered company was only setup after acquiring the stock in order to sell the product without the guy in the UK being able to point back and say if the product is so bad then why so you continue to sell it? Either way things not looking too good for Progrow or Just Cannabis - all that UK guy needs to do is prove that the stock sold by just cannabis was acquired/supplied through Progrow & "sold" to just cannabis.......open & shut case. - however this isnt a win for the UK dude as he's very unlikely to get a cent for that stock as its very likely those companies were registered as a CC which would make the directors not liable for debts incurred in a personal capacity, however he could bring a case of fraud of theft by deception against them, but doing so is going to cost him more than what its worth..........Schoolfees paid thats for sure

Daggafontein Gardener's Delight Mix - Living Soil Experiment
Psylecta replied to Candyman's topic in Local Genetics
What medium you running there? - looks very "Barky" - Id be a bit worried the medium is a bit too hot for seedlings, especially since (if i recall correctly) the previous seeds didnt do well because of the medium, wasnt it? Im sure you corrected that if that was the casea already but just keep a close eye as the leaves look a tad bit light for my liking, however might just be the strain- 24 replies

yeah man we way past the natural 12 hr light threshold for about 2 months already, im getting sunshine @ like 5:30am already so they all gonna look like cabbage soon hehe - you could let them continue growing, but you'll be cursing when you need to trim so like Baksteen & Stinger mention only solution is setup a dark room ( can be unused cupboard, moerse bucket, even empty top loader) main thing is that the dark cycle is left completely undisturbed (Very important )for atleast 12 hours although personally i kept mine dark for around 14 -16 hours sometimes seeing as they were winter plants & i figured that was more or less the light regimen they were already used to, but take care cause too much dark time can stress some strains to hermie out
-
@ bayseeds You got hawks eyes my man, well done of that spot the difference - i always am suspicious of any images especially if multiple ones arent provided per strain - but yes doing an image reverse search on google will also bring up any other webpages that that specvific image has been used on too so theres a nice hint for how to due due diligence befopre purchasing but this highlights another issue on why we need regulation, onus shouldht be on the consumer to have to perform a background check & audit of everything little detail - this is why im so adamant on supporting local breeders, people with ethics and morals - its the only way we'll flush this type of underhanded behaviour from the market is by instilling confidence amongst us growers that buying locally is best - minimal duds, no bullshit, always top quailty that way people who dont provide top quality DEPENDABLE shit will simply cease to exist as they wontbe able to scam any more people into buying their shit because who knows what you actually getting enough is enough - we have to take this matter into our own hands *Drops mic*

yeah it has to be salt buildup - no other explaination - taste wont be neccesarily salty just because the compound is in its salt form, so the taste will vary greatly on what makes up the salt. I Think we got this one busted hey, hopefully one of the heavy hitters will confirm the theory (this reply was meant to be posted directly after my last but data kakked out)
-
ROTFLMAO - dude you must be mindreading me because i was gonna say if you brave you could try tasting it - Mold or mildew wouldnt taste like anything other than fluff lol. open the cap of your nutes and run your pinky along the inside/underside of the cap and taste - should be identical/very similiar tasting
-
Its really interesting though because once you mentioned nutes i was thinking yeah that would explain why the structure seems as if its growing but also threw me for a six because i see the residue was mainly forming where you made the cut which made me think how is the formation going upwards against gravity (assuming you were drying them by hanging them like attached pic) but then the thought occurred perhaps its like capillary action the buidup of salts forces its way to the point of least resistance (in this case where the chop is) yeah theres a very detectable annoying throat burn from unflushed weed, me personally the harshness is annoying but the flavour alteration is dissapointing, my lady that i didnt flush wasnt harsh perse but left a throat burn after smoking not during but the most annoying part was tasting the "sweetness" of the nutes in the bud - it tastes like the nutes smell - goes away the longer you dry but yeah it can be kak, no trainsmash like PM though
-
its definately possible because now that you mention it whenever i spill my nutes on the counter it dries to the same crystal formation and has a shiny appearance just like this but ive never seen a zoomed in pic of it so im not sure - but very possible but that if that is the case then only explanation would be that you maybe didnt flush the plants or fed just before chopping my cam is a shitty 14mp but i'll snap a pic of the dried out residue on the counter to attempt to compare the two
-
well its definately spore like, just by looking at the striation patterns - but as for what it is - got absolutely no clue @PsyCLown what we got here? i personally never seen this before
-
Looks tasty AF - well done dude

Well with the monster cape winds that hit yesterday/today, i noticed a branch from my alien tarantula broke/split about halfway thru the stalk (Wire tie downs + gale force = broken limb) was gonna tape it back on but was hanging on by a thread + i bought some dynaroot last weekend so hey figured why not clone the guy instead....this is basically the only time i use a dome at all, strictly clones - dont bother using domes for seedlings for the very reason that domes will cause the temp & humidity to spike in the circa 20 degree + range (typically) - creating the perfect temperature & environment that allows for a variety of bacteria to thrive which obviously increases the odds of a fuckup potentially occuring. @CreX @PsyCLown @SkunkPharm should probably ask this on my grow diary but since im here already might as well ask ( @DamDave sorry for temporarily hijacking your post) i spotted a weird odd looking green discoloration on my Alien Tarantula - can any of you folks spot what this may be , it kinda resembles a "camo" pattern which suggests it may be the beginning of a Phophorus deficiency? The leaf tip also slightly browing but too early to tell if the bronining tips is from potassium deficiency as opposed to, nute burn or nitrogen Tox - my initial guess was burn but flushing didnt clear it completely - Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated - apart from the discoloration they growing amazingly fast/well
-
Im constantly calling Potassium - Phosphoruis & vice versa - Gonna rather refer to them as P & K in future, lmao is there any clever method to avoid confusing the names of the 2 - its like potassium deficiency i can spot a mile away but i always have this instinctive tendency to refer to it as phosphorus instead of what it is Potassium & vice versa, starting to get really annoying --- its like getting used to driving in North America after living in RSA all your life lmao....left lane, no right lane, ah fuck it, pavement looks safe

Giving that lady some rough knuckles eh? yeah, supercropping most definitely the best way to even out the canopy without moving the pot out of your lights "sweet spot"
