@PsyCLown I've actually got 1 spare square bin and quite a couple round ones to spare, will upload some pics, maybe someones keen on trading a rooted cutting of something nice for my backyard Square bin dimensions: L750/W400/H270 = 91L Round bin dimensions: 550(r=275) H200 = 47L (has the slightest taper so call it 45L) An update on the plants: The dark room hasn't had the desired effect for reversing the revegging on 2 of the 3 pots, even my mother is now starting to show signs of revegging on the highest parts so in my one pot ive have chopped off the main cola on one plant (can barely see my hand its so fat) & clipped top 1/3 of the other plant but on this one just clipped the buds off & left the fan leaves as I want to see which one recovers better. Will upload pics later would I be right in saying once the plants recover after 3 weeks they should start branching out like crazy not so? (Like Monster cropping a clone)

Have transplanted out the soil tub into a small 5L pot, its on the small side but want to give the root system a chance to fill the pot nicely so i know she'll uptake everything i feed her before transplanting into final pot - if she really takes off I'll dedicate a 90L tub to this girl & LST her nice & early

These crosses are sure to be inzzzzane!

If I don't end up getting the screenbags will see if a forum member wants to trade for a cutting

Actually looks like a decent lil thing. I'm keeping all my sugar leaf from harvest till I'm ready to get the screen bags, wanted to find out how long can the leaf be stored after drying? Im assuming one has a limited time to make hash to prevent trichomes from degrading too much not so?

I've seen this on hydrobiz, didn't expect them to be local though, so that's a plus, just looking at the packaging I thought it was imported premium An extra 20/50 bucks for proper organic not bad at all in my book, especially if you only need a bag or two Gonna post some pics of the grow later

@PsyCLownThis could be applied outdoors too!! As outdoors the better you train your plant, the more light it receives, more bud as a result (this the equivalent of how well space is used indoors/gram per sqm) but outdoors i guess could be measured as grams per 384.6 yotta watts lol how well you used space can be defined like @oros da boss mentioned grams per litre/pot size, its actually a brilliant idea as pot size is strongly linked to plant size if everyone grows same strain then judging the most efficient won't be opinion but based on figures Just as important for outdoor growers to have a metric to be able to gauge efficiency & keep improving/push the envelope

I'm one of those growers lol not trying to reinvent the wheel but rather see how it looks with a pair of mags lol Im experimenting to find the sweetspot between soil & soiless, basically got my pots with different ratios of both (coco/perlite/chunky vermiculite and prepared organic backyard soil) so far 1/3 organic + 2/3 soiless working well for me I enjoy having the ph buffer of soil but the aeration qualities of my soil is bad, holds way too much water/stays wet too long & makes roots work super hard which is why I love coco & petlite cause they super fluffy/airy and help make the soil more fluffy The cannapro premix is decent, (gonna try freedom farms next) I just add chunky vermiculite if using just that, works wonders for vegetative growth only downside to only using soiless is constant amendments and feeding + lack of pH buffer which is why I mix the two or if used on its ace just add organic ferts to it while I grow slowly turning it into organic soil

@Saurus Use aliexpress - tailored to retail as opposed to bulk/wholesale - same company though

@Suge hate to say it bud but if its been two weeks and you have no tracking number things not looking promising - solely judging by entries posted by fellow forum members my guess is you have a 20% chance of getting your order, 80% chance of getting fed a line of bullshit, 100% guaranteed to be delayed - seems like dissapointment is the company's mantra Email them to ask WTF & if no prompt response is received file a police report so they don't get away with this shit because its too easy to replace a website once one is burned and hit you again unknowingly hopefully you paid by credit card and can file a chargeback, otherwise seems like you'll be waiting a while unfortunately

@Prom Nice profit for sure, you know, when i hear of people taking the piss like this, i laugh and think maybe they using customer lights for their own grows they might as well considering how long it takes to deliver lmao imagine the email response "sorry sir its our company policy to throughly test all equipment before delivery to ensure customer satisfaction" #monsterprofit

@SkunkPharm got a link for abovementioned podcast? Sounds brilliant though, knowledge is power, too many corps take the piss with 'proprietary blends' beimg vague about what's in it cause they worried you'd go and make it at home, this can't be further from the truth cause fact of the matter is most people buy it because they too lazy to make it and will continue to buy even after knowing what's inside - time is money after all otherwise you'd see all the growers at the beach picking washed up seaweed on weekends

@PsyCLown some clear but most milky, none amber which is why i wanted to let them grow a lil longer - I guess what I'm trying to ask is wouldn't trichomes stop maturing on a plant thats revegging? (Since the plant is focused on new growth instead of old) wouldnt it be awesome if we could just snip a revegging leaf to signal to the plant "hey its not time to veg" the same way cutting off bananas on a Hermie signals to the plant "hey you don't need this shit stop growing it"

@Totemic thank you brother, really appreciate that, my minds literally at ease now. Any idea how long it would take to revert the reveggers back into flowering? (the purple one is young so I'm letting him reveg in a sepearte pot) -but the other 2 (much larger) have strong color on 50% of pistils so id really prefer to havest in 2 weeks as opposed to next season seeing as they almost there I think I caught it early as the only symptom is leaves starting to twist, all edges still serrated & no shiny smooth pointy leaves anywhere but my concern and other questiom is: if the plant is officially in 'reveg' mode its obviously devoting its energy to growing new leaves and branches while ignoring buds right? (until I get it to flower again) this makes me my question my strategy cause if my goal is to delay harvest for 2 weeks to allow buds to mature a bit more but it takes say a week to stop the revegging, wouldnt that cancel eachother out as opposing to just harvesting now? (Hope u get what I'm trying to say)

@PsyCLown hmm, its been extended by more than a few hours though, put them in 17:00 yesterday so they've been in darkness for exactly 24 hours now, so its 10 over what it should of been then by tomorrow morning when I take them out would be 38 hours darkness in total But yeah I figured extra darkness would be less harmful than shocking it to short amount of light at unregular period just to put it back in darkness a hour from now - think im more stressed than the plants lol but just needed to make sure I'm following best P.O.A Shot for that

Ages ago, i find i generally build a tolerance to a specific strain as opposed to general THC tolerance as switching strains usually does the trick (especially noticed this in Canada) as ive found smoking the same strain daily for a 2 weeks + you'll notice your consumption slowly start going up on the second week (at $10-$15/gram one keeps meticulous track lol ) but switch strains every week and you getting more bang for buck & enjoying variety at the same time

I'd reccomend blackberry kush, or black diamond for 'mushroom' laggies but its indica dominant so u sure to have red eyes/droogies and have that urge to sit on you gat especially if u on your feet while getting baked - its a quality smoke though holy shit but not a f$%k would anyone want to clean house after smoking this, you'll get up to feed yourself that's about it

@CreX @PsyCLown Shit, yeah not to concerned bout the lil guys as like u say its beneficial to let them reveg because i planted them very late, its my big ladies I'm really worried about because if they reveg theres goes my harvest but now i created another problem, i haven't taken them out the the dark room today at sunrise like I was supposed to & I'm not sure what to do now as I likely have just f%*ked my photoperiod, so what's the safest thing to do with regards to minimizing light stress? Take them out now and let them get 4 hours light and take back in or leave them in darkness till tomorrow? Lmao the irony will be beyond me if an attempt to prevent a reveg leads to hermie army (FML! Lol )
-
@CreX @PsyCLown @Bakstein420 just wanted to say thanks for mentioning the reveg issue on this plant, I didnt expect it to happen yet so I wasn't really looking but yup i caught 3 busy revegging so spent the day preping the dark room for all my ladies and transplanted the ''patient'' out the the tub straight into dark room for 14 hours with my other 3 flowering pots Only thing is I'm not sure how long its been busy revegging, judging by the size of the single tiped leaf I'd guess less than a week - how many days would it take before reverting back to flowering if I take it to dark room after 10 hours daylight daily?
-
Yeah i know everyone grows the same strain hehe i was referrimg to using a plant as an entry fee depending on amount might be a bnit much for those affected by covid (also figured a good way to stop ppl claiming free seeds is to put a plant as collateral as no one will give away a plant to get free seeds - robbing peter to pay paul situation) then if enough people do this share the plants out among winners across different categories & sub catagories (best newbie, best trainer etc) But there's a few problems with that as mentioned so yeah most likely simplest is entry fee the only thing is kinda defeats the point if only 5 ppl enter, know what I mean?

Keen to find out whether anyone has tried making their own Charas & whether its even worthwhile for the average backyard grower to attempt If so how many plants you have to rub to make say a gram of cream? Hows the smoke with regards to strength & flavour?

@PsyCLown was just a thought - reward the winner with a sick strain but you got a point especially thinking about my setup if I were to win a clone, unless the cutting has already developed its root system I wouldn't be able to do much so I definitely agree, would off been a nice way of someone earning a decent strain instead of 'cyber begging' lol
-
I always gently pull stipules back and look for the slightest nub at the base or next to it & check it the next day for a telltale 'pinstripe' down the centre of the nub requires a bit of a hawk eye or a loupe but youll get them really early

Would be awesome if we could somehow make the entry fee 1x plant or clone from each participant then all the pot goes into a pooled pot (excuse the pun) and make the plants the prizes for winning 1st/2nd/3rd place - 1st 50% of total pot 2nd 30% 3rd 20% etc Other sponsors can still sponsor prizes in exchange for exposure/free advertising/marketing but value shouldnt be more than say a grand (not more otherwise you potentially run into issue of sponsor pulling/not honoring prizes) Many problems with this though, one would be the damn plant count law + the whole thing could be easily labeled as gambling/a raffle then there's the logistics issue and storage of plants/entry fee's + distribution once comp is done. Would of been awesome because for one everyone would put their heart into doing their best to win competition as they'd stand to win a butt load of various strains/genetics but in the same breath would be opening up to the possibility of having to be on lookout for all sorts of shady shenanigans from people looking to take the piss at everyone's expense
