Quick little update, all 5 seeds sprouted should I be concerned that they are stretchinga bit?

Hey so quick little update. I soaked seeds in water for 12 hours. Then placed them in paper towel and zip lock bag between 2 plates. Seeds sprouted in 2 days. Placed the seeds in a tray yesterday and placed in a propagation tray to keep humidity up. Currently have one of my lights on dimmed as low as it can go around 600mm above the seeds. Should I keep light on a 18/6 cycle now or can I put the light on for longer in order to get them started. Thanks in advance have an awesome Sunday!

Yip that's right only setting up half the tent for starters. So hopefully I got enough light for flowering the 1.2mx1.2m. With regards to the fan it's actually a Hz-100 mixed up the letters...

Hey Peeps. So I have finally got to the stage where I am almost ready to start my first grow. Firstly I want to send a shout-out to @PsyCLownfor all the advise and help up to this point in getting to where I am. I've got the following equipment: Lights- @Light It Up 2x 240w Qb Tent- 2.4x1.2m Extraction Fan- Ez100 Soil- Freedom Farm's(Green Bag) Fabric Pots Nutrients--Not sure yet Strains- Peyote Wifi, amnesia I received my seeds yesterday from @Cannabist was very impressed with service and delivery. I'm going to start off with germination and I'm going to be trying the seeds straight into the soil. Ive used the paper towel method for a seeds I did for outdoors however didn't have 100% success. Any advice going forward is always greatly appreciated. Let's see where this takes us! Cheers

Thanks a lot. New challenge for me haha. Regarding lights I'm going to be building my own I think from ledgardener.com looking at his 4x4 build with f series strips. Will build just one for now for half the tent to get going. Just trying to decided if it's the right build or not before I buy the parts from digikey.com. Basically looking for some reassurance:)

Hey @CreX I pulled the plug on the tent and got it for R2800. It's a used tent but in good condition. Busy looking at sourcing comments for my led light I'm going to build and then hopefully we'll getting the indoor grow on its way:)

They want R3000 for the tent...

Thanks for your feedback. Fortunately i am able to go view the tent and i will try close up the tent and view from inside to ensure there are no light leaks. It's slightly bigger than what i need at the moment but might be a good deal:)

Hi Guys So i have been doing my research for led grow lights. I started off with a 22w QB with meanwell, however i still feel its limiting in certain factors. So i carried on the search. I then came across LEON and African Roots Horticulture. African Roots Horticulture have a 380W fixture for R8499 which boasts around 880-905 umol/s. LEON have a 550W unit going for around R8800 and is around 2.5mol per watt. The reason i ask you guys for your help is it is a large amount of money however i wish to buy the correct equipment from the start! Anybody use these lights by any chance? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Hey guys anybody that can comment on a futureponic tent? I can pick one up at a good price. It's 2.4x1.2m a bit over kill for a beginner but ,ight be worth it? Any help would be appreciated Cheers

@CoolJ Thanks for letting me know seems like modugrow has got good service and product. Like you said they are slightly more expensive though. I don't mind paying for quality and service. Just want to make sure I'm buying the right light

Hi Crex Thanks for the response much appreciated. I've managed to find the modugrow slightly cheaper but still coming in around the R4100 mark. So basically getting an additional 40W for about R900. Not sure about the qb panel but modugrow says actual wattage from the wall is 90w not sure what the 220w Qb is pulling

Hi guys So I've been shopping around for a Led grow light for an indoor setup. I've narrowed it down to 2 different lights. 1- Being a 220w Samsung LM301B QB light going for R4900 https://plantliving.co.za/products/samsung-lm301b-full-spectrum-led-grow-light-220w 2- Being the Modugrow 90w light which can be daizy chained as you expand going for R2500.https://hydroherbafrica.co.za/product/modugrow-professional-led-light-90w-full-spectrum/ My question is has anybody used either of these lights and had success? Is this a good starting point? Look forward to hearing from you guys! Cheers
