Hmmm u reckon? They were transplanted on friday 19/02/16 though and looked droopy fom the tranplant and recovered quite well with their leaves nice and straight again

UPDATE: PLANT ISSUES...Help They have been transplanted into 10 litre containers with pure coco under a 400W HPS light with a 300m3/h extraction fan inside. I am having issues with 2 plants mainly...other 2 do not seem affected yet...but I am keeping my eye out. I did lower my light and the 2 plants affected were in a similar position so I initially thought it may be the light being to close but now I am not so sure. They were transplanted and watered with water pH'ed to 5.8 no nutrients as this coco has some nutrients in (Same NPK as from CerealKillas thread) I am not sure if it a deficiency or pH issue Plant 1 Plant 2 I have been going through some charts and considering the amount of nutrients in this coco is quite minimal it could be a deficiency Anyone recognize the issue?...sorry picture quality could be better

From what I know it varies depending if you are using trim or bud. I think it comes down to how much oil there is for you to actually extract from the material you use. When the liquid coming out runs clean and clear then you know you done....Maybe have 2-3 just in case....? Made it once and we had an about 20g outdoor and used one can...dont think it wasnt finished and our cylinder was smaller than that

I thought I may as well make a grow log since this will be my first hydroponic grow and definitely could use some pointers along the way Genetics: Sugar Haze Regular x4 (Might originate from seedsman....otherwise your guess is as good as mine...came with a Cannazon order) Lights: 100W CFL and then 600W digital ballast using 250W MH for veg then 600W HPS for flower with cooltube Medium: Seedlings in Jamies Garden Soil(JGS) and then transplant into straight coco Nutrients: Easy Hydro Grow line with all the pH correction fluids (Using Milwaukee pH pen meter) Fans: 300m3/h inline fan to connect to cooltube and small oscillating fan...will upgrade soon for intake and outake exhausts Area: 80x80x120 Grow tent The plan: I really don't have the space to maintain a decent organic grow so I have decided to move onto using coco and hydroponic nutrients. I was inspired by this thread: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=55683 GHE nutrients are used and obviously I will be using EHG. Nutriplex actually comes extremely close to the ratios in that thread when using the same Cannastats calculator but EHG was easier to get hold of and well might as well experiment. I will be transplanting this weekend to the coco and using 6ml micro and 9ml bloom at 1/4 strength initially to see how the plants react. I have mixed the nutrients at full strength and it pH's naturally to 5.6-5.7 which is pretty damn perfect for pure coco! The coco is the same coco from CerealKilla's thread so I will be mindful that it contains some nutrients already...It is the Coco Compact Soil from hydroponic.co.za......I rewashed the brick coco I initially purchased and 2mm pieces of what I assume was salt started appearing....not happy with that stuff at all. Here they are currently...14 days since I posted them up with their issues Will update weekly...maybe bi-weekly or as anything interesting occurs!

I saw that as well... Saw many of their strains they had are now out of stock....probably getting in new stock soon. They are at least getting some brand name genetics out here to people who may not ever decide to order overseas themselves. Always a plus having more people growing their own bud

@GLO I have definitely come to find that out the hard way. Just read an entire thread about damping off in coco and how it happens quite often from coco bricks that havent been washed properly. I did take care to wash the coco I used quite thoroughly but guess it wasnt enough or may have needed more pressure added to it, to wash the salts off properly. Have lost 2 bagseeds to the damping and one Auto. I transplanted the final bagseed and Auto to soil...I had to try something else I definitely feel that coco I used was not sufficient for a seedling. I hope they pull through but I am not optimistic

Lol you guys:-meditate Anyway here is how they looking at the moment. I am going to transplant one this week into coco and see how it reacts. Probably going to wash off the soil so none of it affects my pH in the coco. Side note...I have also now experienced dampening for the first time I believe. Seem to have lost a seedling in coco...luckily it was bagseed. Other 2 bagseeds seem normal...strange cause I swear they received the same amount of water...The coco may have been more moist than I thought when I filled the pot

Haha sup @Ajcapetown Yeah man those seedlings are staying in JGS soil mix till I know what I want to do with them. I purchased EGH nutrients and pH meter etc for future grows. I germinated 2 bagseed seeds in coco and will experiment with them to get the hang of chemical nutrients. I am planning to do 2 Autos in the coco so just trying to see how these coco bricks fair as a medium

@CerealKilla Haha ok cool man well all seems pretty good in your grow log. Hmm yeah from what I read it should be fine...the coco isnt very wet and I'll now watch out so I do not water them too much as seedlings. Hope they break the ground soon

@CerealKilla I have shifted them closer to the light today. How has your experience been with coco? I placed 3 seedlings in coco today after them cracking open in paper towel method. I bought a coco brick, rehydrated it and then washed it and now majority of it is drying.

Just thought I would give a small update on how they are recovering.... Seem to have bounced back but the bent ones are growing quite slow. Not 100% sure what I am going to do with them. I have acquired all things necessary to grow hydroponically with coco....Was wondering if i should transplant them straight into coco or spray off the soil and then transplant? I begun germinating some bagseed in order to start with fresh the coco and get the hang of the schedule I will be using. The nutrients Im going to use are the Easy Hydro Grow. Nutriplex wasnt available without me having to order it and courier it down. Would prefer the Nutriplex as it has a guaranteed analysis at the back of each bottle. Pics of recovery:

@CerealKilla Hmm thats interesting cause im using JGS now but they still seedlings so no sign of issues as of yet. What issues came about? Havent heard of the smart garden coco potting soil either and that Ph you mentioned for it goes against all what I have been reading about coco...so thats quite interesting as well lol Do you have a link to this grow on the site by any chance?

Nice pick up man. Have you used the nutrient line before or first time? And what medium are you using it with?

Thanks for the responses guys! Yeah a lesson learned at least....Final seed has broken the surface. So 5 Sugar Haze's regulars.....I plan to flower all of them quite short since I dont know the strain and my space is fairly limited. Hope they bounce back quick!

Yeah I also thought I would just let them sort themselves out. Haha I think once I checked on them after 2 days and only saw some small taproots...then I think it was probably another 3 days but I moved the one which looks strongest only the next morning after I realised what was happening

Hi All So I recently germinated some seedlings using the paper towel method and I honestly did not expect them to germinate so quickly. So the seeds germinated and ended up pushing the paper towel up and away and tried to reach for light which of course they could not find, since being in a dark place. They ended up flopping over and their tiny leaves became a very pale yellow/almost white I immediately put some water in the towel and actually thought of just throwing them away due to how stretched they looked. They are all regular seeds that were freebies with a cannazon order...Sugar Haze. But then I decided let me put them in soil and see what happens. The next day they looked greener and happier. I would like to know if anyone has had experience with this issue? How can I strengthen their stems? The one in picture that looks the most stable was rescued earlier as it germinated a bit later. Current conditions: 100W 6500k CFL Jamies garden soil Small fan blowing over them...not directly but enough for air to flow over them. They have been in their containers for about 24 hours now....the stronger looking one about 2 days. Any help/ideas?

Can anyone confirm they have been ordering seeds to durban side without any issues? And which seedbank they used
