Hi guys! Haven't been on here in a while as 2015 was quite hectic but 2016 is in and I'm buying a new ballast! Does anyone have any experience with the differences they have seen with growing digital instead of a magnetic ballast? Basically are any of the claims u commonly see associated with digital actually true? I am buying a 600W ballast this month and on gthydro the digital one with fan is R1000+ more than their Lumii magnetic ballast. I was wondering if it really is worth the extra money as I will be using it for its 600W ability and do not need it to run 400W and 250W bulbs. Anyone who has been using gthydro's ballasts could you maybe give me a heads up on your experience with their ballasts and how they been faring? Peace!

Currently in my final year of mechatronics engineering......Will probably start working next year unless postgrad comes along... On the inside I'm patiently waiting for our laws to change so I can follow my passion and grow weed legally for everyone to enjoy

Just my 2c about GSR... I personally will never use them as I just feel you do not know if you are getting what you paid for and plus it its a bit pricey whereas ordering from overseas really isnt that hard actually...daunting the first time but worth it overall always! That being said....I have watched a grow journal of their genetics flourish into gorgeous buds...the author was skeptical but the end result gained his trust in them. I also have a close friend who swears by them as he has used them many a time and believes the genes he gets are legit. He's always been anti ordering overseas so I've never won him over in that regard

I believe another group who tried selling actual bud was the 420 Brothers or something with 'brothers' in the title....site got seized. I have had quite a bit of experience in getting seeds into Western Cape....also Ive been caught and had to sit in a room with a customs official in Epping (horrible feeling)....turned out fine in the end though. Ive had success with Sannie but he doesnt accept credit cards anymore...your order will probably get seized but he resends until it gets through (Sannie is a living legend if u ask me) Bonzaseeds was a sure winner for me as I went for their untracked option. stealth was exceptional and pretty funny actually at the simplicity Attitude seed bank: First order of seed I ever made was through them and it got through by sheer luck I assume as the second order landed me in trouble! I know of guys who have used Original Sensible with no tracking and had it work out for them, as well as Cannazon being very good and they stock sannies if u need to order some of his genetics with a credit card. Hi everyone! Just read through all the forum rules and am excited to be on a cannabis forum once again! I go by cheese420 due to it being the same nickname I used on one of the forums which is no longer available...as far as I know...? Shout out to anyone that remembers me from weed.co.za lol:-puffin Anyway chose nick name when young and lets get real, "cheese" comes to mind often when talking about weed in SA. I have a few grows under my belt all done with a 400w HPS system in a grow tent. Notable strains done were Super lemon Haze from GHS and Extrema, Madshach and mad Scientist from Sannies and a failed attempt at some Dutch Passion Autos(God damn cats!! )....have done a bagseed grow but that got harvested early. I currently have nothing going on as I am wanting to upgrade to an electronic ballast with a new fan and hood. Glad to be here hope I can contribute!
