  1. Well understandable with the skunk odour indeed. This is not just catchy strain names. There is a definite gravitation towards the desserty type strains and the fruity strains. Zkittles, Fat Banana, Gelato etc. are all among the most popular strains at the moment. I don't see Black Pepper or Hot Chilli anywhere? Maybe in the future we will have our own Biltong strain... Who knows...
  2. Are you saying that the sweet strains were bred to mask the "original" weed odour? The sweet strains still smell lank strong and indistinguishably like weed, so i'm a bit confused with that theory. Meaning it with all respect I noticed a worldwide trend towards sweet and fruity strains and I'm damn curious to find out if this is based on current market demand.
  3. Nah just plain 'ol curiosity...I always feel like i'm excluding the ladies when saying "Howzit guys" and also hate saying "Howzit guys/girls". Maybe i should just say "Howzit" haha.
  4. Howzit guys. Why is there no girls on this forum? Anyways... After a couple of grows, i'm kinda getting over the sweet smelling strains. Don't get me wrong. Still appreciating the sweet aroma of Blueberry or the flowery Chronic smell. Is the sweet strains becoming more of a trend or has it been the norm all along..? Cheese is probably the closest that i could find that is "not as sweet". Except of course for the old school strains like Swazi, Transkei, DP, Skunk etc. Any other strains that could be recommended?
  5. Observing, learning. This is the best Weed School i've come across so far. Much appreciated
  6. Big plant bru! That brown stem is bud rot creaping up towards the buds. Cut the discoloured stem and dispose asap before it devours your whole plant. Bud rot starts from inside the stem so your whole plant is most likely to already be infected. Harvest now or risk losing alles. That is through my experience with bud rot. The absolute bloody worst thing. Sterkte brother!
  7. I like that! Play the cards that you were dealt. That one plant is quite likely to be the star of the show!
  8. PM is a bitch man. Am i spotting some bud rot on the 10/11th pic from the top? All n all looking lekker
  9. Nice man! @Totemic ,not to suck ass but i also germinated 5 regular Choc X Gelato #33 BX seeds and only 1 turned out to be male! That is some pretty good ratios right there!
  10. By the looks of the general music preferences, this might be a bit heavy for most. This band was the pioneers of Death Metal and still remains one of the best Death Metal bands that existed. This one is for the Death Metal fans. Fuck yea!!
  11. Looking good man! From my experience, 80% of the time, the fastest growing ones turn out to be males. How about a little experiment to see how true this is or maybe it's just my luck...eagerly following along
  12. Uniformity is out the window but you'll definitely have a Frankenstein sort of plant structure. Top that shit ekse!
  13. This full organic grow got my attentionSterkte brotha!

Jere now that is propa prizes right there! How about an outdoor challenge this coming summer or even a solo cup challenge to spice things up @420SA
  15. Lekker man! Ja i'm also struggling with those whiteflies. And always close to harvest or early veg stage. They multiply like rogue rabbits.
  16. Good work guys. Especially in these times when nobody gives a fuck about anyone except for themselves. @Nibiru grow and show bro
  17. I received the same Rooibaard as a freebee with my order from GSR. Couldn't believe my eyes. Fkn Rooibaard!!! Germinated 2 seeds. Both duds. One left. Last of the Mohicans. Going to wait until outdoor season to germinate it. Holding thumbs. Malawi Gold, Durban Poison, Swazi Gold and 1 Rooibaard seed are waiting in anticipation for the next outdoor window. Leka!
  18. Same here. Great value for money. Can't wait till October!

    EXTREME SPORTS

    @Wulfdid you say base jumping..!?
  20. @Stefanshot man will follow along and check out your grow fosho. I had a pretty successful summer grow so decided to experiment with a autumn/winter grow. The idea is to use living organic soil, no nutrients and grow a couple of small plants just for shits and giggles. I've read about seed to harvest being done indoors but never seen any solid documented grows outdoors with this method. My plants are definitely growing slower with the shorter light cycle and no nutes but still looking healthy and one is already starting to bud after week 5 from germination! Yea to come back to your question. It is the wrong time of the year to grow outdoors but we still have plenty sunshine and relatively mild temps so nothing to lose. Only knowledge to gain. Follow along and see what happens. Maybe it could be the start of a revolution
