Seems I am having a PH issue... way to high. My digital meter arrived yesterday and reading the tap water I have let sit for a few days, I get about 7.2. I havent been bringing this down when watering. I flushed this morning with 5.8 water, run off still around 7.4 so the soil PH must be way out of wack. Hopefully Ive caught this in time. They havent been growing much at all, but not showing signs of overwatering or underwatering. Definitely looks like nute lockout though, no enough N and Mg I think.

nute lockout? Flush asap anyway.

@Thatoneguy, would love to know some details of your setup? lights? Fans? average temps etc. Size of room? ive got something similar, and like your efficient use of the space

Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk Yes, sign of a happy leaf/plant. Pointing to grab the light is good. Its when they droop that you need to worry.

No prescription is needed, however be aware that having and importing seeds is still illegal. There is a chance customs intercepts the seeds, this happens quite often as I have come to learn. The seed banks tend to use generic methods to send the seeds to you. I think customs, especially in cape town have cottoned on to these methods. They generally just confiscate, and send a letter to inform you that they were confiscated and you must call them. Always say you are not expecting anything. You could call them and they may ask you what are you having sent, other times they wont. I have heard of the police arriving to deliver the package themselves, get somebody to sign for it, in order to arrest. This was something like 4000 seeds though. ***text removed**** As long as there is a local bank offering, I will go that route over the international option. ***text removed***

following this. first time ive heard of this and quite interested. some proper science behind it.

I fear transplanting, big time. Especially in a non-rockwool type medium. Im thinking I could have just put the small rockwool cubes into those bigger rockwool cubes, then move that to coco.

Thanks for that, I think I stand corrected. Trying to find the previous link between Prince and Davis, im sure there was one.

Still awaiting the verdict from the panel. Hoping this comes in early Feb, but may take as long as March. Some interesting info is that one of the lawyers on the panel, used to be a human rights lawyer who defended Prince in court when he was first arrested and charged with possession (think it was maybe 1 plant they found in his garden). This to me highlights something very positive. That and the fact the state brought absolutely nothing to the table to justify why the plant must remain illegal is possibly the nail in coffin we needed. I would be very surprised if the state, or any applicant in the matter would be able to provide anything scientific or medically confirmed that could hinder this. The only thing keeping it illegal is the fact there is an archaic law, which was not put in place because of health related reasons. The fact some scientists/doctors still refer to this to back up their opinion shows how ignorant some of them are. Possible interests in pharmaceutical companies. Anyway, things are changing, the world is changing, and governments can only drag their feet for so long before something needs to be done. Unfortunately its going to go down to the constitutional court, and no doubt the state will appeal etc etc. The fact that the schedule moved from 7 to 6 highlights a shift in thinking, and confirms theres medical benefits, which should play right into our hands when it comes down to self medication being a human right.

Out of interest, how did they arrive? IE packaging? Was it via Cape mail?

I would probably do it the other way around. Extractor on permanently during lights on, and off during lights off. You could however get a different fan, deskfan, and have this go on intermittently during the lights off period, to keep the place cool. You need more air movement when the light is on to counter the heat and it also helps the plants rid themselves of some moisture which is really important to drive the uptake of more water and nutes. This only happens during lights on as far as I understand it. In order for the plants to absorb carbon dioxide, they need light to photosynthesize, so my understanding is that this doesnt occur at night, thus requiring only intermittent air movement to keep them cool. Have I got this correct?

Day 5.. Seems growth has slowed a bit, I can only think its pushing roots or something.

The chilli/garlic/onion has been used for a while. Can even add some canola or sunflower oil. Bugs hate oil.

Attitude seeds and Nirvana sends here as far as I know? Always a risk with the international banks, and heard horror stories of cape mail and even some arrests. Im actually expecting some seeds from the US, but just have a nagging feeling they may be intercepted. However, it seems www.cannabisseeds.co.za is selling out of stock quickly... lots of orders. Since my first order came through the next day, Ill try them again before I buy oversees. Far less risk for the buyer, but more for the seller.

Looks like a mag issue. Have you got some epson salts? Calmag should work, dilute half a spoon in your next feed. Its weird how that happens if you boosted the coco with calmag. I had a similar issue, whereas previously I never had to use it once. When I realised what it was, I flushed with water/calmag, and kept some in a spray bottle I would spray once a week at bed time. Seemed to sort it out.

Hey guys Ill just leave this here. Its a fairly accurate list of worthy seedbanks managed and updated by a growers group (US) on FB Im a member of. I guess if anybody has any positive/negative experiences with ordering maybe they can put them here? We can keep it updated.

Hey man, seeds4free.com has been pinned as dodgy and untrustworthy in a few places. Guess you will be lucky to receive them. let me know if you do though so I can inform others. I will post a thread with the list being managed on one of the fb grow groups I am on.
