Uhm guys, so I got more fittings and bulbs now that add up to 250w. How far should I lower the seedlings? One 2 week seedling and 4 1 week seedling fly high

I think i figured out why the plant was leaning to the side. Last night whrn I went to go check on them, it was leaning again. I looked at it and discovered the tip of one leaf burnt a little. So I think it was to try get away from the heat. I lowered it like 30cm and this morning when I woke up... It was Jacob straight up again. I also thought to rather set light 18-6 instead of 24 hours. All 5 the others are still still like the light tho. They seem shorter tho than what this one was at 5-6 days old fly high

My box is 1.2x3m. I'm going to get to get 2 fans (those on inverter welding machines). One to fan air in, another to fan air out. As for humidity I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm not going to pay 5 grand for one of those controllers fly high

I'll go get 4 more light fittings and 4 40w cool white cfl's the weekend. Total 160w for veg. Will that be good? fly high

Also this plant was started with a warm white light at 8w I think for its first week. Only got the 20w lights a week later fly high

This plant was in normal garden soil at first in a little glass pot that had a little cactus in it. No holes and no drainage. This one went into organic potting soil only,no compost and no bonemeal. This plant got chamomile on its first day already and may have been over watered too. It didnt have a fan on it but it did have 2 20w cfl's like 15cm above it. I took one out cause the temperature inside of the box I grow in soared up to 38"c. Now with a fan on it its running between 26 and 30. I planted another 4 plants on Sunday, 2 in normal potting soil and 2 woth mixed soil (potting soil, compost and bonemeal). 2 showed up above soil Monday morning and the other 2 this morning. I marked them from 1-4. 1 and 2 in mixed soil and 3 and 4 in just the potting soil. 2 and 4 came up Monday and 1 and 3 came up this morning only. So I'm kinda confused by that. Anyhow, I'll look into it to get better lights and vents on the box this weekend as well as getting some perlite and coco coir for a new project. If this all works out and I have at least one female up to harvest then only ill invest money to get all the good stuff. I'm not expecting these plants to stone the bejesus out of me but to actually make it through to the harvest with okayish buds, after all they are bag seeds from regular stuff for R80 a bankie. Thanks tho I appreciate your input and will follow what you advised. The organic soil I have will stand for a bit as I have already put soil in the bigger pots (no mix). fly high

Wow thanks for sharing that. Thats some serious info on mixing soils. Looked into organics-the Glo way. Yeah this little guy proved to be tough. I have read a lot on how fragile cannabis is so i was really worried about this one seeing it is my first plant. And yes I do read a lot, my wife craps in her pants saying I don't give her the attention that I put into these plants lol. Btw, perlite: is this available at any nursery? Ok chekdon the little guy this morning and seems it's still going. Will give it more time and keeps it's soil moist hopefully it kicks through. I do have bonemeal. I just have not added it yet. It's a form of nute isn't it? And nutes I read that only during veg from the third set of leaves? I am going to experiment with all mediums I can possibly find. Hydroponics I feel is next on the list but.....i dunno that seems tricky. How I started out was kinda off lol. It was a sudden decision. I cleaned me some bud, twigs into ashtray and seeds I put one side. When I had a few pufs I looked at the seed and that's where it kicked in id say. Seeds were big ass and pretty, had solid black stripes all over it. The first few seeds I made indents in the garden, planted the seed and nothing grew. Later I find out that eh... Cannabis don't like the shade lol and where I planted it theres big palms and ferns so it has to compete for nutrients if it grew. Then I thought of indoor, all in a hurry for no reason cause I want to see these pretty seeds in action. Then looked into germinating it and I did one seed regardless if it was male or female right? It's my first shot. That's where this one in the picture comes in. I got these 2 big speakers (what you would find in clubs) and the boxes they come in are good too. So I split these boxes open, put them together to create a nice and big environment for future plants. Put a light in there, a fan that is a heater too and it slowly twists if you put the twist on and it gives the temp of where it is in. So this seedling started to grow and I was in heaven lol. Yeah so now I have another 2 going, still small. I will take pictures tonight. The soils I got happened by accident too. I was at game and strolling I saw they had these soils and stuff. I remember I read of many people going organic for many reasons so I thought ok lemme get organic stuff. So I took 2 bags of potting soil, a bag of compost, bonemeal and Seagro plant food. If i succeed in this project....i think I'll be a grower for life. I'll then invest in all the nice things. Such as a grow tent (btw where do you guys buy these?). About the lighting. Have 2 20w cfl's. I made these domes for them but the temp gets up to 30 inside there with these 2 and that's with the fan on. So now have one light on and temp is around 29. I have no idea on how to bring the temp down. One light without the foil dome keeps ot at around 26 but everyone says the more light... The better bud... I have not played around with the pH yet. This weekend I'll go and get me a tester and look into that. I read however that with organic you don't need to adjust the pH. But if you guys advise different ill be sure to follow what you guys say. I can not communicate with Wikipedia but you guys....i can and that's really awesome. Ok i think i stuffed this one up. The soil was hard stuck in there, roots was exposed for a bit. Will see in the morning what it does. For seedlings I use the bottles of mineral water for now, have to go buy small pots. I hope this one is ok, other 2 are still tiny, and 2 other that was planted on Sunday didn't break the soil yet Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
