Sup Gang, hope you all enjoyed your freedom day and choice a good way to express it hehehe. I'm a few days off the start of harvest as the Vanilla, DC and GG look pretty close under the microscope. I'll probably take half down on Monday night and the rest of those specific plants over the weekend. SA will be the weekend after I'm thinking as they are know to run in 70 days + on the flower side. I must say, the plants really flowered a lot quicker this time around. Probably because I vegged them longer and most of the plants were shooting pistols before I switched to 12/12. The Fruit Spirit for the next round is a real stretchy plant, she is the only one I have tied down ATM just to keep her level with the others. Other than that there is not much else to report. PS - we had some good rain in CT later so we holding thumbs that may continue. My Garage I grow in got flooded from the rain but luckily the boxes are raised off the ground...a little planning that paid off lol. Anyway keep it real y'all and have a great long weekend. Have a look at my first journal, I had endless issues and had the same soil as you do from the local hydro shops (Claremont and Kraaifontein). In my opinion they do not cook the soil and merely mix it and sell. I had a total change in the plants once I started using the freedom farms mix and more so from Jamie Garden Shop. My recommendation to you would be to go for either, they are living soils and not that sh1t you have. Try what may I could not get that soil right. Sorry to say but don't ever use that again, rather invest in the above soil and you won't look back. Jamie is well aware of what we are using his soil for and he is a wealth of knowledge. Derrick from Freedom farms 2 as he asked me what strains I'm running lol. Both have awesome by-products also. Update time: All coming along nicely, frosting up a fair bit more than the last run so that's a plus 2. Today being day 45 so I have about 2 weeks before I can start the picking process which should run over about 2 weeks with the final plants being the Strawberry Amnesia. Awesome man, your having fun I see lol. You gotta let them hang for 5 days at least in my opinion. Once you jar it up the inner moisture will come out, if you find it's too dry after a day or 2 in jars then add a piece of banana, apple, orange peel to the jar for a hour or 2 or until you happy with the moisture again. Your resistance should be at a all time low if you haven't spoken for a while therefore you should be getting a good buzz from most weed lol. I've tried Vanilla Kush which is a great strain. Was meaning to comment on these lights but almost forgot. http://www.ausma.co.za These are the crowd the bring in those lights. I bought some at China town Century City. Weirdly not all China towns have them but that one did and Kak cheap. Think I paid R50 bucks rack for 75w bulbs. They'll work for veg but you'll have to try and source something for flower as China town only had the 6500k. Perhaps give the agents a shot. Oh btw they have higher wattages than 75 !!!
